OEM Auto Parts I ordered an item that was advertised as an OE genuine part(which cost more) and was sent an item that did not match the description

I ordered an item that was advertised as an OE genuine part(which cost more) and was sent an item that did not match the description. I was allowed to return the item(on 2/12) and hadn't received a refund confirmation until yesterday(3/5) and that was after sending messages and finally speaking to somebody on the phone. I received an email confirmation, but the refund was for $453, but I paid $585 for what I ordered. I am just looking to get my money back, and I feel like there are some less than savory business practices happening here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ordered a radio upgrade. Received wrong equipment. The bezel that cam with it is not what was advertised. Made numerous calls, emails and texts to resolve. No response from company unless I call new sales extension, and then they answer. Finally got a hold of leadership and they attempted to resolve by sending damaged equipment that had same issue. Again, no return calls or emails about damaged replacement or solving original issue. Also tried Buyback program. No response.

OEM Auto Parts Product purchased as advised by infotainment is not what was thought to be

Product purchased as advised by infotainment is not what was thought to be. Charged $475 for another company's cheaper camera. Refund needed. I wanted qa back up camera for my truck. I stumbled upon infotainments backup camera and wanted to order one due to it being "plug and play" as advertised. The camera after being sent, is not plug and play. I recieved a camera that needs to be spliced into my trucks wiring harness which alters the wiring and voids my warranty. I asked for a return label and a refund and infotainment is not giving me either or trying to work with me to resolve the issue. I'm done being nice.

I was promised $400 for a radio buyback via email. I sent in radio. Money never came. Months later I ask again for my $ and they offer me $100 This company is engaging in false advertisement and is using bait and switch tactics. I already got screwed out of $1200 because they advertise a core program for radio repairs. After buying, they said they have no such program but would buy my old radio back at a greatly reduced amount. Difference. I send in old radio. They stall for months and now are only offering me $100 instead of the $400 they originally offered

Purchased a stereo upgrade Nov 2019, The unit started showing sins of being defective within 6 mo. of purchase. During 2020 sent the unit in at least 3 times for repair and each time it came back and worked for about 2 weeks then failed. after the third time, I chatted with tech support and they concluded that the unit was unrepairable. I was transferred to the Sales department and all they could offer was that I purchase a replacement unit for 10% less than full price. I advised Matt that that solution was unacceptable and that I would be reporting issue to ComplaintsBoard.com.

OEM Auto Parts Bought the 10.1 inch screen upgrade for my new 2020 Ford Explorer

Bought the 10.1 inch screen upgrade for my new 2020 Ford Explorer. The OBD Genie did not work. Had to send the genie back to you for troubleshooting I'll keep it short. The ODB Genie that came with my kit did not work. The only solution offered to me was sending the unit back via ground shipping for troubleshooting. Ground shipping from California to Florida is 5 days each way. That's way too long for my car screen not to work. I ultimately had to pay for over night myself, which was $100, as no "supervisor" called me back to approve it. I paid $1600 for this upgrade, and am disappointed in the communication and customer service.

OEM Auto Parts Defective radio from day I received it

Defective radio from day I received it.Then GPS went out.Still no refund and It was delivered back to them on 6/29 Purchased an RA4 for my Grand Cherokee.Installed the day after receiving and had error message, told it was normal.A few weeks later the GPS was stuck in another town and then state.I was told radio is defective and to send back radio only.In 24 to 48 hours a new one would be shipped.Received no tracking so I emailed and was told low inventory I then requested a refund as I need a back up camera.Another week and nothing.Then told to ship radio bezel back so I did that.They received bezel back and still no refund through ***.I have all emails and tracking numbers

OEM Auto Parts A crooked shady company selling products that do not work

A crooked shady company selling products that do not work. Call them today, and you'll find that they don't even answer their phones. Purchased (***) 10.1 Ford Explorer screen upgrade on December 5th. The product simply did not work. They issued an RMA to return the product, promising a repair/solution. I've been able to contact them several times since the product was returned, they have admitted they have an issue, and promised contact from a technician which never happened. They are still holding 100% of my $1600. Disputed charge on credit card and also filing with ComplaintsBoard.com and other online resources to spread the word. Save yourself the headache and don't do business with these thiefs.

OEM Auto Parts I placed Order XXXXX on 20FEB2021 for a new infotainment system for my Jeep Grand Cherokee along with the needed wiring harness and dashboard

I placed Order XXXXX on 20FEB2021 for a new infotainment system for my Jeep Grand Cherokee along with the needed wiring harness and dashboard bezel for 2159.90. I received the order on 28FEB2021 and contact support with a couple questions including issues with the knobs/buttons. I got an initial response the next day, but it didn't resolve the issue and my follow-up went unanswered for over a week. I followed up again with them on 09MAR2021 and 2 days later received some instructions for take the buttons out of my old bezel and put them in the replacement bezel. I tried that and it didn't work because they are different sizes. I called again on 12MAR2021, and after being on hold for 30-60 minutes the agent agreed to ship the bezel back, fix it, and ship it back to me. On 13MAR2021 I asked if they could do anything to expedite as I was already 2 weeks weeks without. They have not responded in over 10 days at this point, despite 4 follow-up messages.

OEM Auto Parts I purchased a radio upgrade for my 2020 Ram 2500 truck

I purchased a radio upgrade for my 2020 Ram 2500 truck. It's supposed to come with the correct bezel. There's a different one for the gas and diesel trucks. Mine is gas. I supplied my VIN to infotainment when placing the order, (close to 1600.00). Upon delivery I noticed an extra button that my truck already has in another location. I immediately called and also chatted about that. I was told that the bezels are universal and basically too bad. So I installed the radio. Upon further investigation I found out I was misinformed and there are indeed multiple bezels for the appropriate trucks, depending on accessories and such. This was a week ago. I got an email 2 days ago stating that the bezels are universal, to which I called***. Yesterday I get a voicemail stating they made a mistake and please call to get a new one shipped. I called, left a message and 36 hrs later, no returned call. The customer support is a joke. Everytime you email they open a new ticket. They lied to me twice.

I ordered a rear camera set for my 2017 dodge challenger, the camera did not work. Called, emailed, been given run around and now they are ghosting me I ordered a rear camera set for my 2017 dodge challenger, the camera did not work. They let me know a new camera with new wires shall be sent. Got new camera, but no new wires. New camera did not work. I tried a cheapy $15 camera with original wiring sent and that camera worked. I sent back both cameras. I received no replies, so I called and they just said they wont send a new camera and dont do any partial refunds, sorry. No replies to emails directly from them or replies to their customer service form on their website. I also bought a radio set, i do not recall they advertised it was used at the time (checked wayback machine, does not have the site indexed) but it was used. It is advertised they will program the radio specifically for your car. It still had previous owners contacts and accounts (siruis xm, etc) attached to it. Very shady, i cleared the data.

OEM Auto Parts Have not received cancellation confirmation

Have not received cancellation confirmation. Have not received refund. Still being charged. No item. After speaking with a chat representative about cancelling my order (uconnect handsfree kit $499) I was notified that my order would be cancelled and since item has not shipped I would receive a full refund. A week and half has gone by and I have not yet gotten an order cancellation confirmation which should have been sent to my email and***.*** is a company that I am making the payments through every two weeks and they would not cancel payment until we receive confirmation. My wife and I need this money for other priorities and cannot continue to have payments taken from my credit card. I have not even received the product for me to return it because it was never sent. Today I noticed that the conversation between the chat agent and I has been deleted from my account. Seems like something shady is going on. I would like a full refund asap before I have to take legal action for theft of monies. Thank you.

I shipped a brand new stereo, packaged as it should've been by *** (I watched), and Infotainment claimed there was a scratch, which cost me $300. I had a brand new car stereo that Infotainment agreed to purchase for $400. I shipped it via *** to them. *** packaged it in a way that there was a zero percent chance the face could've received any scratches (bubble wrap, face cover etc). Once they received it, I was told the face had scratches on it and that they could only offer me $100. Essentially, they scratched my product which decreased it's value by $300. I have attached a picture of the stereo as shipped, a picture of what I received back with the scratches visible, as well as email correspondence with their purchasing manager, Chris. If they did not want to pay me $400 for it, and just returned it in the same condition, that would have been fine. Instead, it received scratches upon receiving by them, thus decreasing it's value by 75%. I'm not one to file frivolous complaints, I never have before, but this is unacceptable. Thank you for your time, help & consideration.

Faulty Harness Adapter and no one seems to care for a replacement I purchased the upgrade kit for a 2019 ram from Halogen To LED, One of the LED lips stayed on wether the truck was on, off, locked, etc. Reached out to customer service and they suggested I switch the connectors (2 comes with the kit) I switched as requested and the problem moved over to the other headlight so it was determined the Harness was the issue. Reached out to customer service once again and the person said " sorry we are out of stock on those and you will have to wait until we restock so we can send it to you" I have explained multiple times to your customer service that in order to preserve my battery I have to keep plugging and unplugging the harness to avoid a dead battery, how do I have time to wait for a replacement? I even offered to pay for new ones from a different kit and I would send the faulty ones back and the rep came back and said " we are out of stock on the full upgrade kits " I called as if I was going to purchase and they confirmed in fact you do have some in stock! come on infotainment what is this?

Ordered a 4 inch to 8 inch conversion kit for F150 at a cost of $2,231.96 (not cheap). Product doesn't work and they want to charge for replacement. At the time of the order they said they had the equipment in stock, which they didn't. The sales person said all of their equipment is OEM, but never said it was "refurbished." It took extended time to ship. When it did arrive all of the equipment wasn't in the package. It took several more weeks and many phone calls to get all of the equipment. They sent a used or "refurbished" bezel that doesn't work. The climate controls are very sticky as if something was spilled something into the controls. They originally suggested that I "wash" they bezel to see if it helps, which it didn't. They will only replace It if I ship the old one back leaving my truck without controls for an undetermined amount of time. Given their past shipping experience and the salesman's comments I'm sure it will be months. The other option they gave was to purchase the product again from them and they would credit me back sometime in the future when they received the original one back. All of this is well within their warranty period. If I want to return everything they are going to charge me a 15% restocking fee.

It didn't ask me if I would like it to be signiture required. I ordered a 8.4 UConnect screen, the whole package that i purchased on 04/20 i believe. My package took a few days to ship, I didn't have any info on it really. I contacted support. And they gave me tracking. I checked and it said it should come Tuesday, so I stayed home knowing i will get a knock on the door or something but I never got one, I even stayed home the day after and I didn't get nothing. The only left to do was contact you guys and see what can be done. Later tonight I receive a email saying I didn't ask for signiture required when I wasn't asked on the checkout page, so how would I know I have to do that for a high priced item when most companies don't give those options and just make it signiture required. I had to even go as far as asking neighbors. I read reviews and see people has issues as well and did think this thing will happen with me which is crazy. I paid damn near $1,500 for you guys to basically say your not going to do anything. Anyone can see that is poor service, the person who basically told me I wouldn't receive any compensation name is Nicholas. I tried looking to see if it will ask me if I want a signiture required and it did not pop up at all.

OEM Auto Parts I bought a navigation/car play radio for my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I bought a navigation/car play radio for my wife's 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I installed it on 2/12 and on 2/21 it stopped working. My wife bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee last month. The car did not have CarPlay so I did research and found Infotainment. At the time based off reviews they seemed like a reliable company. I bought an OEM factory replacement 8.4" touch screen navigation car play Radio from Infotainment on 2/5. I received the radio 2/12. I installed the radio on 2/13. The radio worked until 2/21. When my wife turned her car on on 2/21 the screen remained black / never turned on. I contacted Infotainment and they sent me an email explaining steps of how to fix it and opened a trouble ticket. Not very helpful. On Saturday 2/22 I went through the steps explained in the email to fix the radio which required me completely remove the radio unplug all the cables and reinstall it and it worked. We came out on 2/23 to go on a long road trip turned on her car and the radio remained black again and will not power on. I called Infotainment again and was connected to an answering service who were absolutely no help. Now we are on a four hour plus drive with no radio, no navigation, no back up camera, no access to many of the cars settings that you can only reach through 8.4" touchscreen. The reason I went with Infotainment was because it was a direct replacement of the radio she had in her car so I figured that even though the price tag was $1500+ it was the way to go to avoid problems. Plus their reviews seemed good online. Here we are 2 weeks later in her new car with a dead radio and very poor customer support from Infotainment. Extremely disappointed.

OEM Auto Parts *** installation video for the product I purchased claimed compatibility with satellite radio if you provided your own antenna--but was not

installation video for the product I purchased claimed compatibility with satellite radio if you provided your own antenna--but was not so I purchased a backup camera kit (G-SPOIOB) on 5/7. I found this business and its product through a video posted to its *** account: *** This video states that "you can go ahead and upgrade to satellite radio if you want ... all you have to do is install an antenna; now's the perfect time to do it." Knowing this, I purchased this kit and a satellite antenna from a third party. While I was installing this kit after it arrived I noticed that the radio module I was sent did not have a satellite antenna plug. I inhaled the rest of the kit anyway -- which works well and as advertised -- with plans to reach out to support to inquire about the satellite issue. My initial contact with support occurred 5/20, and has been ongoing via email ever since while enduring days-long delays waiting for responses. The entire chain of email communication is attached. As of today, 7/3, I have been unable to use the product I purchased in any capacity for nearly a month as I have been waiting on my issue to be corrected, as it was communicated that it would be in the support emails I received 5/20 and 6/2. In the second chain of email communication, beginning 6/24, i was then told that in order for my radio to support satellite I would have to purchase an additional upgrade package -- which is the only time or place that was implied or mentioned. Since my original radio and the unit i was sent with the kit did not have a satellite antenna plug, I purchased a compatible unit from a salvage yard that does have a satellite plug. I offered to send this unit to the business to resolve the issue in a way that was amenable to both parties, but was told that was not acceptable. I feel I have made every effort in good faith to help resolve this issue, but am increasingly becoming frustrated by this company's service and support. Even if it requires sending in the unit I obtained from a salvage yard, I want to see this issue to a satisfactory conclusion.

OEM Auto Parts System caused damage to new vehicle and incurred repair costs

System caused damage to new vehicle and incurred repair costs. On 02/01 I contacted Infotainment about purchasing a new radio system for my brand new ram 1500. For whatever reason, my system was not navigation compatible, so the only course of action was to upgrade it. The goal of this entire process was simply to get a navigation system in my truck. I provided Infotainment the VIN number for them to confirm the upgraded system would work with my truck model and they confirmed it. The first system arrived and with their technical support on the phone, I attempted to install the radio system (which is supposed to be plug and play) three times which all resulted in the electronics malfunctioning throughout the vehicle. The representative told me the unit was not the cause but the installation was and that I needed to go to the dealership to have everything reset to factory. I was directed BY INFOTAINTMENT to go to the dealership. The mechanic there not only had to install the original radio back in but found it had blown a fuse. After fixing it, the dealership charged me 350 dollars for the repair, however they were kind enough to comp the charges after the following visit. After reaching back out to technical support(Nicholas), I was told that they could send me a new unit but then backtracked once I told them I expected to be reimbursed for the repair costs. I returned the unit and after a week of not hearing from them I reached out once more. They received the unit and had inspected it finding that there was nothing wrong with it. After complaining that they should be responsible for the repair costs they informed me that a full refund was the proper course of action and that was that. After not getting any recommendations for a solution to my problem, they started the refund process. I then immediately called their sales department explaining who I was and the whole story but that I wanted a new unit and that I would get the dealership to install the unit so Infotainment could not say that it was I who caused the damage. After receiving the new unit and bringing it to the dealership on 02/19 the garage foreman(head mechanic) personally saw to my installation and not only got the same results as I did with technical support on the phone but found the unit to be "shorting out the bus system." After 4 hours of labor, I was billed for 659.12 for the repair costs at the Hendrick Dealership of Concord. I immediately called Nicholas at Infotainment back and after admitting this has never happened before and he did not know why it happened told me that they would not reimburse me for any charge whatsoever. I asked if I could talk to his General Manager and he said "no, he won't even take your call because he will not pay you."
