Refund
On 8-29 I placed a order via Meijer app we was doing diaper charity so I seen meijers had all these fabulous coupons that I used I ordered 4 items Meijer 88 ct training pants 74 count pulls and 2 44 ct Meijer overnight pants which was buy 1get 1 free. My order came to 24.52 for those 4 items which is a fabulous deal.on 8-30 my items was being shopped for by a shipt shopper which I also had a coupon for free delivery and my 24.52 order will be delivered by 9 and there is a view button next to this info so I hit view and see that some items was not in stock which was the 88 count and 74 CT so I wasn't being charged for them but my total went up to 40.19 so I called Meijer trying to explain I was over charged they began telling me a 20 coupon didn't go thru on my order that's why it's 40.19 I said that don't make no sense cause it's a 15 dollar different she begins telling me she can't help me I'm lying I never place a order for 24.52 and it went up cause of the substitution which still didn't make since considering the substitution was less in count and money then what I originally ordered so I received my order once I got off work and relaxed only 2 items was delivered which was the substitution so I called Meijer again to request a refund at this point and was told no that I'm lying about everything by a rep named gogi so shipt is supposed to take pics of their deliveries is what I was told by shipt and my driver failed to do so he said he delivered 5 items meijers email says 3 items were delivered when only 2 items got delivered I received a email saying from Meijer shipt is telling the truth and I'm lying and my refund is being denied I have screenshots of everything
Desired outcome: Refund or be charged 14.98 for the 2 items I did receive
Customer Service and Coupons not Scanned
Went to Meijer in Green Bay, WI this morning. Cashier forgot to scan my paper coupons. So I called the local store and it rang forever and I'm connected to someone down South after being on hold for 15 minutes. Then she transfers me to customer logistics, I believe it was, on hold for another 10 minutes. Finally she transferred me to the Green Bay, WI store customer service department. Very frustrating being on hold for 25 minutes to talk to local store. May be rethinking where I shop. My time is worth something.
Desired outcome: Compensation for the time I spent on the phone for 25 minutes, because now you're routing your customer service calls to calling center. Ridiculous.

Desired outcome: Jim daubenmire
Checkout Cashier
I had brought in a flyer that was mailed to my house for being a repeat customer of the store. The coupons in the flyer were nothing special but my elementary school aged daughter wanted to go on a shopping outing and learn about shopping with coupons that way. I took her with me and had her pick out the items in the coupon book (maybe 12 total items) and we grabbed a few other things. When I went into the line at Greenwood, IN Meijer located off of Starling Road I was greeted by the worker named Karen...I swear to god I am not making that up...who promptly announced in the line while she was still working with the family before me, "Are you planning on using all of those coupons?" To which I simply replied with a smile, "yes, is that going to be okay?" Karen then rolled her eyes and dramatically said, "Well that's just great" and slammed the coupons down on top of her register. The family in front of me looked embarrassed for me and I just was dumbfounded by the display the worker made. I was trying to be cautious because she seemed like she might be Autistic but nonetheless it was the most insane reaction I have ever seen. My daughter was deflated and I won't shop at Meijer again because of it.
Desired outcome: fire Karen...for being a Karen.
Meijer's new electronic id/age verification for alchohol purchases
I stopped shopping, period, at Meijer's because they now require me run my driver's license through their electronics for age verification when buying alchohol. Identity theft is a big issue and I fear my info may be hacked and stolen from Meijers. Some people have posted this new policy is good for detecting underage buyers but I think it has the opposite effect. Now underage people can simply borrow a drivers license from someone of legal age to buy alchohol.
Let's face it, this policy by Meijers is simply to eliminate another employee by not spending the time physically checking IDs.
Flashfood
My husband and I bought some of the food in your Flash food program. After it was paid for we went to the refrigerator to get out what we had purchased and found two items gone. We got a run around about getting our money back. Your customer service was no help at all and Flash food is good about taking your money but not giving you a refund. With times being so tough, why are you letting your third party companies take advantage of your customer? You also must have people stealing out of that refrigerator because some of our products were gone but still listed on the app. You need to move that refrigerator closer to customer service so it can be observed. I really liked that program but we will not be using it again. The attitude of the workers at Englewood are going to hell. I will be going out of my way to shop elsewhere. I didn't save any money considering I got gypped out of several items. This occurred on Monday August 1st around 5:30 pm. I might add that I will be telling people on Facebook about our experience.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund and I would like to see that refrigerator moved over to an area that would make it harder to steal from it. A lock on it that only customer service can unlock for a customer.
Three Fruits, Raspberry, Blueberry & Blackberry light preserves
I purchased a jar of these preserves about 3 weeks ago and after opening it, I always refrigerate this product. It has not turned to almost a liquid and it cannot be spread on toast or anything else.
I have used this product for years and never had a jar like this.
Am wondering if this batch was made incorrectly and would like to know.
Kathy Ray, [protected]@msn.com
Desired outcome: Would like a refund but I do not have my bill.
Management
I had issues with being harassed by two managers. One grocery manager and a night manager believe the latest time happened on Sunday. I had complained online about this grocery manager at the shaver road location singling me out for a return for credit. I have never heard of any other individual being treated this way. The gentleman who runs the bottle room most of the time knows that I only return stuff you sell and your machines are famous for not taking empties you sell. So after I complained the first time with no response these two gentle came to the bottle room and started to go through my bottles that would not go through the machine. I do not understand after my first complaint that two managers had to come and harass me. I have never heard anything about my second complaint should be records of my complaints
Meijer Customer Service Representative
On 7/17/22 I was shopping with my husband and 2 year old grandson at Meijer on West Main St. in Kalamazoo.
We were in the process of being checked out and my husband passed through the checkout lane with our grandson to ride the 1 cent pony.
Our checker proceded to tell the bagger, right in front of me, " Did you see that guys hat? People like that disgust me, it's the most disgusting hat you can wear, it makes me sick". My husband was wearing a hat that had a political candidates name on it. Just the name, nothing else.
I was shocked that this checker had the nerve to not only talk that way about a customer, who he saw was with me and to do it directly in front of me. I confronted him and told him he was talking about my husband and I could hear every word he said. He did not care. He smiled, rolled his eyes and said nothing acting very smug and unapologetic that he had just offended a loyal patron of Meijer. I was very upset, hurt and disrespected that he did not think that an apology to me was in order. I have never been treated so poorly.
I went directly to the Customer Service Desk and requested to speak with a manager.
She was very friendly and stated that "election season is coming soon" and employees are not to discuss anything political. She stated she would be reminding all employees of this.
I was hoping for a little more than " it would be discussed with all employees,"
as it was only 1 employee that was offensive. I would be horrified if another loyal patron had to endure this type of behavior.
Desired outcome: I would like this addressed with the individual himself. I deserve an apology. I do not shop at Meijer to be harassed by social justice warriors who can't control their behavior.
Miejer grilled chicken and cheese burger
I was enjoying my grilled chicken and cheese sandwich (miejer brand) I bite into something hard and turned out to be some kind of bone of something..I have pictures to show . I purchased 7 of them ..now I am scared to eat the rest of them. I have receipt if need be. I love miejers its my go to store but that was not fun to bite into on my Saturday night ..glad I didn't chip a tooth. I don't how to put a price on my experience..that was absolutely horrible.
Desired outcome: Miejer gift cards or coupons $250
Chicken wings.
We are regular customers at the Bowling Green, KY store, where we drive 25 miles (one way) to shop there. Today ...
At check out we responded to Was Your Shopping Experience Satisfactory? We said Yes, then we got to the car.
At the Meat Counter in addition to 1/2 pound of Turkey Breast asked for (we ended up with over 1 pound), we ordered 3 chicken "peglegs" expecting to munch on them in the car. Oops, they were the little wings instead, to add insult to injury those 3 little tidbits cost $3.87! You need to teach the Meat Counter Personnel what a 1/2 pound and what a "pegleg" is.
Desired outcome: A response.
Rude Customer Service.

Meijer #132
150 S. Marlin Dr
Greenwood, IN 46142
Let me first start off by saying I have never had a bad experience at Meijer. Today was completely different. I went in trying to purchase Pokemon cards and the cashier named Melissa rolled her eyes and sighed like I was a bother. She very aggressively asked my price range. When I told her I'd like to see all that she had, she told me she wouldn't be showing me all they had. (How do I know what I want until I see my options?) That it was impossible to bring up one of each of all the products. That I could either do singles or a box. So I moved a little to the side and said I'd take that box. She snapped "which box"? I informed her I would take two of the blue boxs'. And when I asked if I could see the singles, she told me no. That I can't purchase more than 2 so I could either get the 2 boxes, or the singles. I honestly don't know what I did to deserve this kind of treatment. I was just trying to enjoy my hobby. If there is a purchase limit, I wasn't aware of it. All of the other ladies who have helped me back in electronics are more than happy to bring up all of the products for me to see. I usually end up spending about $300 in pokemon merchandise. I did ask Melissa when this limit rule went into effect, and she said it has been over a year. I am very much confused because I go about once a month and purchase way more than 2. I really wish Melissa had a better attitude. I am discouraged to shop or even ask about the cards now. If I see Melissa working the electronics counter, I will turn around and walk out. I'm sure she's very proud of herself for upholding the rules. However, her attitude was totally uncalled for, and I don't appreciate feeling shamed or a hinderance in your store.
Desired outcome: I would like for Melissa to treat people with respect and kindness from now on.
Rude cashier named Diamond
On 7/3/22, around 6 pm, at store 154, Indy, Indiana- I purchased ripped peaches and I asked the cashier , DIAMOND, to be gentle with them when bagging. She smacked them on the counter saying “if you don’t like how I bag you do it yourself “. She stopped bagging all together. Another associate jumped in to bag the rest of my shopping cart.
That’s rudeness.
Desired outcome: Disciplinary action / write up
Employee
Meijer Corporate Complaint
Wednesday 6/29/22 around 12:30 Monroe Meijer
Shopping and listening to a news organization on Youtube on my phone, earphone in ear,as I'm heading to the front of the store an female employee starts walking beside me and says,I know what your doing,I answered what am I doing? She accuses me of recording the woman also heading towards the checkout in front of us,called me some kind of pervert and also said this to the woman,I was totally embarrassed as I did not know her and I told her mame that is not true. After checking out the employee follows me halfway to the bus stop and then this woman's boyfriend shows up starts screaming at me something that wasn't true, starts swearing at me and threatening me,I was quite frightened.I told the man it wasn't true and he keeps screaming they have you on tape Ahole, fearing for my safety I left the bus stop as he followed and locked myself in a restaurants bathroom hoping the police they said they called showed up.They didn't come for me as like I tried to tell the guy, didn't happen. This man could have hurt me,I don't think you can make an accusation like that without some kind of proof there was a wrong doing. This threw me so,I'm going to get a cover for my camera lens, when I shop next week and if this employee attempts this again,I will 100% prove my innocents, and hopefully avoid something like this from ever happening! Funny all the other stores that I shop, have never had someone treat me like that nor accuse me of something not true.
Desired outcome: Educated employees

I frequent this store make rare returns Valerie was the rudest person to me I immediately said I paid cash she said no Mperks I said no. I personally rarely use MPerks I’m not familiar with that. She said it maybe an issue if it’s over $20 I said yes it will be over $20 She asked for my ID and she whipped it on the counter typed in the info all items had tags called for an over ride and handed me the info store credit. If I had to choose hire or fire well I’d fire her. Rudeness is out when I spend a lot as many people do at Meijer

Frederick's Butter Pecan Cookie Dough
I purchased these cookies at the Meijer's on the Beltline in Grand Rapids Michigan. I got the cookies because in the ingredients it said nothing about chocolate which I'm allergic too, the cookies have small chocolate chips in it which I had a bad allergic reaction to your cookies when I ate a cookie not know I was eating chocolate. You really need to be more careful with your products in advertising all ingredients in your product...
I still have the original package the the cookie dough came in.
If you need to reach me my number is [protected]
Angry customer

Desired outcome: reimbursed for the purchase of these cookies.
Management in Owensboro, Ky Meijers
This store needs to be investigated for the way that management treats the workers. I have witnessed them yelling at them, calling them stupid, telling them they would make sure they get fired and several other offenses that are not excusable. I have overheard management talking with each other about employees and how they would do things to get rid of...

Double charged
I was shopping at Meijer on May 21st and there was an error with the check-out card readers. My EBT card was charged 2x and we couldn't even take out groceries with us. I was told it would go back on the next business day... but it didn't. U waited and the following week was told 3 days more... I waited another week, contacted the store director and was told he would contact chase bank and have my benefits expedited back on my card. A week later, still nothing. I called back and was given a case number. This was my EBT food card benefits almost $400 worth, it took all my benefits for the whole month. I have no way of buying groceries for my house and kids... we literally have no food and to make it worse in 2 days my son turns 10 and is having a party and I can't even supply food or give him a cake. I am unemployed and have no way of getting food. I really need these benefits put back like today... we are seriously in trouble and can't eat
Desired outcome: Benefits put back and compensation
