McAfee My McAfee subscription

I emailed for a refund on my account as soon as the payment went through on 16/03/2023. I had previously gone into my a/c to stop the subscription and automatic renewal. I keep receiving emails saying I'm unprotected. I no longer require McAfee as I no longer have the computer. Your business is shonky & I've just read some of the comments which are very similar to my experiences. A REFUND OF $204 WOULD BE GREAT!

McAfee unauthorized charge

I previously had a subscription to MacAfee, but it expired in Feb 2021. They kept sending me notices that I was unprotected and needed to renew. I had already contracted with a different service and no longer wanted their services.

TODAY - MACAFEE WITHDREW $199.99 FROM MY CHECKING ACCOUNT VIA MY VISA BANK CARD. I called MacAfee and they informed me that they had NO record of the transaction, even though I am looking at it online in my account! I logged into the old a count and it showed nothing active, so there was no reason for them to "steal" my money. The representative gave me a case number, and said I have to call my bank back to see if they have an "invoice number" for the transaction. I'm on hold right now to see if such an "invoice number" exists, and if I get it I'm calling them back. If that doesn't work, I'm filing a fraud claim with my credit union to investigate and get my money back.

McAfee Would not refund my money

I paid for a 1 year service and at the end it was automatically renewed for 2 more years. I tried to dispute the charge with my bank and was told I had a precious agreement with Mcafee. I then went through Mcaffee for the refund within the 60 day requirement for refunds. I contacted and spoke with multiple agents and 2 supervisors and was told different explanations each time as to the status of my refund. Today I was told they could not process my refund as it was after the 60 days. I statted tje refund process well within the 60 days. I was told my bank needs to refu d my money which is not true. Mcafee needs to refund the koney to my credit card.

McAfee Hundreads of unwanted E-Mails from McaFee

I had a McaFee account years ago on an old computer. I found the computer after remolding my home. Turned on the computer to begin using it and have received hundreds of unwanted, unsolicited harassing E-Mails from McaFee and Norton Anti-Virus. I E-Mailed Mcafee to stop sending me E-mails but they sent many more. I will print out the hundreds of E-Mails from Mcafee to show the intentional harassment due to not wanting their service. I have two E-Mail addresses and Mcafee some way received the second E-Mail and now I receive numerous E-Mails on the second address.

I will file suit against Mcafee if my complaint here does not resolve the intentional harassment. New York State Penal Law states harassing E-mails is illegal harassment and I can prove it with the E-Mails.

Desired outcome: I want Mcafee and Norton to stop harassing me by sending numerous E-mails. I request five thousand dollars for the intentional harassment. if you cannot get me the money, I will file suit on my own in Court.

McAfee McAfee renewed my subscription without my consent. Scam? Theft?

On Mar/10/2023, at approximately noon, I saw an email from McAfee thanking me for renewing my subscription, and for the payment. That is illegal, as they did this without my consent/permission. Auto renew was NEVER turned on by me. McAfee did this on its own. This is an aberration to Canada's integrity. I sen feedbacks, and an email to McAfee media, demanding a full refund. McAfee must take full responsibility for this infraction. I thought that this company was honourable. Far from it. They better refund my money. **Note well, that my official and legal stance are first and foremost your concerns, ahead of your 'terms and policy'. You therefore agree to my terms ahead of yours**

McAfee Customer service agent left abusive language on my voice mail for not buying their product

Hello,

My name is Rajesh Gupta and I live in Toronto, Canada. On Sunday, March 5, 2023, I called McAfee customer to talk about buying McAfee anti virus product. Unfortunately the price being quoted was high to my standard so I refuse to buy their product and disconnected my phone line. The customer service agent , named Vivek called me back but I did not agree to buy the product and again disconnected. He keep calling my number and left two abusive voice mail message on my cell phone. The first one was with a "F" word which I deleted. But I saved the second voice mail message with very bad abusive language in Hindi. This person has a South Asian accent and he was very unprofessional and was acting like a bully. I am surprised that McAfee hire these kind of customer people which is very scary.

McAfee AutoRenewal-Cancel and Refund

Auto renewal of $89.99 for [protected]@Livesafe for renewal ending March 10,2024 is done which I don't need now. I therefore non renewal and refund of my money.

McAfee Scamming by McAfee supposed staff

Following a phone call from McAfee, I was immediately connected to supposedly one of your staff named "Robin" who attempted to advise me how to get the money back from McAfee. After several hours this person, "Robin", hung up on me, but then I found that $9989.00 had been removed from my credit union account. The next day a person called "Kevin" phoned, who then transferred me to "Robin" who stated that the money would be returned to my account. The money is still outstanding, and I would appreciate this money being returned to my account. This account is with the MyState Bank in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, who will possibly involve "Scam Watch : to recover my money.

McAfee Being able to change my protection to a new computer

I recently purchased protection for my Desktop (1 unit for 1 year) which went U/S so had to get a new laptop. Trying to change over my protection to this new computer has proved a farce and I've wasted an hour getting nowhere. Your website is a disgrace and I am angry that you make it impossible to change over as the instructions you give to do this which take ages to even find, prove impossible to do. Try speaking to human being is also impossible. How about one ringing me on UK number [protected] anytime SOON.

McAfee Your popups very often on my computer.

I tried to remove your service and now get things from you that tell me I need to renew, or I have infected. Es very time it pops up You locks up my computer. And I have to reboot. The biggest Virus I have is McAfee.

1. When I received my new computer on January 2023 with the computer came a free download of McAfee. I was not at home, and I could not load the program I wanted.

2. When I got home, I deleted McFee (or I thought I had) now When I try to use my new computer I keep getting pop ups that say Things like, "Critical Viruses found", Your McAfee subscription has expired. (no way! is that what happens when you disconnect and remove McAfee from my computers wardrive?), Virus found, Pc is at risk, Your Computer is infected, your system is damaged, PC Is a risk...

Do you want me to go on?

3. When I try to click on the pop up, that locks my computer so I cannot do anything until I use ctrl+alt+delete, that will close my computer down. then I can restart my computer for a short time. How can I uninstall thes Virus called McAffe?

Desired outcome: Remove McAfee completely from my computer. I am now sorry I ever did try McAfee

McAfee McAfee PC protection

Several years ago I attempted to discontinue McAfee service on my computer. After numerous attempts, McAfee finally discontinued service and I received a refund.

Yesterday I received an email advising thst McAfee service on my computer has been automatically “renewed effective February 1st which is “in accordance with my contract.” I do not want McAfee and in fact no longer use the PC I originally had service on.

Desired outcome: I have not had McAfee service for several years and in fact was hacked after I discontinued service, so I know I have not had service for at least 4 years. Please correct your records and advise.

McAfee McAfee

We just discovered that McAfee has been billing us three times per year, and upon investigation, we discovered that two of the accounts were protecting “zero devices.” We tried to chat with them, and they keep telling us that they don’t understand our complaint, so I asked for a refund, but when I request it, it will only let me go to a certain point, then it starts over again asking for the same information I just answered. I feel like the company I hired to protect me is actually scamming me. They just charged my card $156.66 for a subscription that has “zero devices” listed that they are protecting. Another account says it has 3 devices, but they can’t provide me a list of which devices they are.

McAfee Total protection -1device

i have purchased macafee total protection software on 27th december 2022 , i have downloaded and installed the software. I am scaning my system every week and getting fully protected report. But last one month i am getting two reports one is fully protected and other is five virouses found needs to buy macafee.

I am in two states of mind one the software i have purchased is of correct quality or bogus and two your popup is giving massage every second of virous entry into system

McAfee McAfee

I replaced my laptop in 2018; which included a trial of McAfee LiveSafe. I did not realize upon updating that instead of merging my subscription; it created a duplicate. As recommended, I had autopay - and just realized I have been double charged since 2019. I realize I should have caught this - but, life just got in the way. I have called customer service; and was granted 1 refund for the most recent renewal; but neither representative could go beyond that. I asked for Supervisor - and, was told no one was available but I would be called back the next day - it never happened. It is impossible to get throught to someone who can actually address this issue. It was obvious I had two subscriptions and one was not active -- I feel like I have been ripped off; and I don't care about their refund policy. This is wrong - and; non-existent Customer Care. In reading blogs - It seems this is a common Business practice. Can you please help? I truly feel I am owed $360 in over-charges.

McAfee McAfee Total Protection.

My late wife subscribed to this product and set up an auto-renewal - the windows desktop with it installed - it is no longer used.

After she died I noticed a payment to McAfee, I asked them to cancel the auto-renewal (which they probably did) and for a refund which, they say was given. The money never showed up in my bank account, possibly due to the account name being changed from a joint to a single account.

I've been on to them and my bank several times, my bank says they must have an ARN (acquirer reference number) this is a unique transaction tag which can be used by the bank to find out what went wrong - apparently it's 23 characters long. I've been asking for the ARN of this transaction for weeks now and although they've given me other numbers - no ARN and hence, no money.

Desired outcome: If they did indeed give the refund then it should be possible to get the ARN from their bank - I'd like them to start talking to their bank - either get me an ARN or cancel the payment and try again using updated bank details.

McAfee Anti Malwares Security

I was sent an email advising me that I had been charged $399.99 for a 3 year Mcafee subscription. (Invoice 670092, dated 7 February 2023) I did not order this product and do not want it and I need to be refunded the amount that I was charged. I replied to the email within the 24 period that was stipulated on this "invoice".

I did try to phone the help line but was guided to a website that I did not trust by someone who explained that I needed to download something from the web in order to obtain a “cancellation number”.

Why do I need to obtain a cancellation number for a refund of something McAfee are capable of charging me for without any authority from me or without any difficulty accessing my account?

If McAfee can take my money without my permission, why can't they refund me without me having to download something I don't trust in order to get a cancellation number?

McAfee Renewal payment. I would like a refund

I already have Mcaffee virus scan installed. It runs out in March. A couple of days ago I received an email from you to renew - I clicked on it and paid for a 2 year renewal £116.99. I have just tried to log on. It is asking for a one time passcode - I have tried repeatedly to put a passcode in but it doens't work.
I have just looked at the cost of the virus scan offered on your website - it is only £39 a year so I want to know why I have been charged more. I would like a refund immediately please.

I had issue with my live safe subscription it was telling me it was expired, and I would have to purchase again, IT DOES Not expire till 9/10/2023 thank you. Finally, a rep called me back after i called three times and had to wait over 30 mins, to talk to a Humen. I may not use McAfee again after my subscription expires on 9/10/2023. I give reaching customer support a -000 rating..

McAfee Mcafee Subscription - appalling Customer Service

I have repeatedly called and been promised a call back from a Supervisor and so far nothing. No one is able to help or answer questions.

Yet again in January a payment has been taken from my bank account, this year £84.99 - you are not able to stop as this is not a direct debit.

I have told them my subscription in inactive and no auto renewals - so how can they continue to operate in this way?
