Awful company
They have people working for free. They promise to pay their providers but they don't. I've worked there and had to humiliate myself chasing them to pay me.
They onboarded me and promised $40 per session. Then they give me and total of $24 for 2 sessions. I chase them for payment, they send me a receipt of 24 that never made it to my account. I look for them to see what's wring, they ignore me.
Ii am now chasing more payments for October, they don't answer.
They are a nightmare. I will be needing therapy at the end of this. I was contacted by providers going through the same issue.
Claimed loss: USD240
Desired outcome: They should pay me and I'll leave because I don't want to work with them anymore.

Never saw a cent!
Mantra Care providers are at risk of needing mental health support themselves due to the stress of having to deal with a terrible app and lack of payment. These scammers get you to agree to be onboarded with them. By the time you realize that no matter how much you chase them you are not getting paid, it is too late and they already had 10-30 clients using your service for FREE. That's right, you work for free and there is no point trying to get the money from them. They wear you out until you're gone and let the next sucker in. Providers, stay away. Clients, find another app. You are also being used.
Recommendation: Run away! And clients, know they DO NOT PAY THEIR PROVIDERS
I was onboarded with them. We had an interview. I was promised $40USD per video session with my service as therapist. I agreed. After the first month without being paid I complained. It took me 4 weeks to get a response, no explanation, saying that it would be sorted. I was sent a receipt for 24USD, for 2 sessions I had provided, which is not the $80 they promised me - documented on email - to make matters worse, the receipt had no date and it never made into my account. Since I got in touch with other providers saying the same thing. Mantra Care creates fake receipts and try to use the free service from the providers for as long they can, until they realise and cut ties with the company, but they don't see a cent.
Customers are paying without knowing about the malicious way they deal with their providers.
The app is awful andI had a client had a full blown anxiety attack trying to have a session via the app. I took that client to Whatsapp and was penalized by Mantra Care.
I am shocked that this company can get away with this.
Therapist was excellent but the Company? Thieves!
The therapist was excellent but after a few sessions I realised I was paying them but they were not paying the therapist. I was appalled and moved on to seeing my therapist separately from mantra care out of my own volition. It's so low not to pay your personnel. The only good thing about mantra care, other than lower prices, is their personnel and it enraged me to know they're not cared for.
Recommendation: Therapists are great. Company is dishonest.
Huge scam
MantraCare is a huge scam. I worked for them as a service provider for 3 months, and didn’t get paid once. They kept telling me they would “release payments next week”, and when I asked them they would constantly ignore me. The app itself is also so incredibly difficult to use, I heard from several of my clients that they had paid for the services and couldn’t schedule an appointment with a therapist.
Their customer support sucks too, so whenever I tried to reach out to them to ask them to fix my clients’ issues with the app, they would take forever to respond.
I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt in hopes that they were just slow, but these people are dishonest scammers that take advantage of anyone that comes their way.
If you want to see a therapist, I suggest you put your money into a trustworthy therapy platform or find a private therapist.
Recommendation: Do NOT give them a penny.
Cannot figure out if it is a scam or just horrible customer service
July 14 - Registered for Mantracare
July 14 - realised that this would not work and First request to refund on first form (app lists wait 48 hrs for response)
July 15 - date listed as enrollment as per their documents.
July 18 or 19 - Second request for refund on second form (app lists wait 24 hrs for response)
July 20 - Third request for refund
July 21 - Mantra care request for reason why (no mention that therapist had been paid)
July 21 - Information and Fourth request for refund
July 24 - Check back in and Fifth request for refund
July 25 - Mantra care responds and tells me to talk to my therapist (even thought that would void my ability for a refund)
July 25 - SIXTH REQUEST FOR REFUND
July 26 - Mantracare says they cannot refund.
July 26 - provide them with dates and reference the policies and request refund again.
July 27 - Mantracare says that because I was assigned a therapist I do not qualify for a refund.
July 27 - I request a refund, and clarify that the policy listed states: “ A provider has already been assigned to you and you have started conversations/ sessions with the provider. In such cases, MantraCare needs to pay the provider anyhow.” specifying the “AND” regarding starting sessions.
July 28 - mantracare tells me because I filled out a preference form (aka signed up) that they paid the therapist as soon as they were assigned to me.
July 28 - I realize that they are blatantly ignoring the policy listed and request another refund.
Aug 4 - I follow up and request a response and my refund.
Aug 5 - MantraCare informs me the decision has been made (with no clarification on policies wording)
Aug 5 - I realize that I downloaded therapymantra, have been emailing [protected]@mantracare.com, and therapymantra.com links to all the mantra care pages. Upset I start thinking this is a scam. I email [protected]@mantracare.com and comment on the mimic, and email [protected]@mantracare.org and tell them there is an issue and someone impersonating.
Aug 6 - looking through the apps on the apple store, I realize mantracare and therapymantra are owned and developed by the SAME developer.
Aug 9 - the email to the .org is responded to by [protected]@mantracare.com and they tell me they will raise it with the “concerned department”.
Aug 9- I respond pointing out they responded from the different email, and it shows me that they are the same company so please refund as per the policy. Fairly sure this is a widespread scam.
Aug 10 - mantracare responds (clients and .com email) that they cannot process a refund because I was assigned a therapist, but will extend my subscription for a month.
Aug 10 - I again clarify the wording of the policy, ask for the refund and refuse the extended therapy.
Recommendation: if the customer care is this unclear, questionable, and does not adhere to its own written policies. One can assume that the therapists will be governed by a similar ethic.
You have been scammed. It's all about money! They have a robot therapist in their help for goodness sakes! These people are reckless, play with people's health and use honest people to do the work without paying them.
