Love's Travel Stop review: Offensive customer service by cashier "Christie" at store #553 AZ

I do apologize for the late complaint, but I have been very busy and intended on filing a complaint in a timely manner. On 4/6/22, I was returning home to California from Alabama, where I attended a TSA K9 Explosives Academy. I have been a customer of Love's Travel Stop for years and usually stopped there for refueling, food, and beverages.

This time I was buying a cold coffee drink and attempted to buy a pack of cigarettes at the same time. I waited at the register's counter for a few minutes before finally a Caucasian female in her 30-40's of average height and build finally showed up to assist me. I began asking her questions about the different cigarettes on sale and I mispronounced a brand. She then rudely corrected me on the pronunciation with a disgusted look on her face, annoyed, and trying to get me to hurry up.

Realizing that she was being prejudice and possibly racist towards me, since I am an Asian, I stopped trying to buy cigarettes and purchased the coffee drink only. As I was receiving my receipt, I then said to her, "You should speak nicely to your customers, even if you're having a bad day" and left. While I was opening the door and exiting, I heard her raising her voice saying offensive remarks to the next customer about me! I looked over my shoulder and saw her looking at me and the customer at the counter was shocked about the incident.

I don't know if she is still an employee, because it has been a few years, but I have kept this picture of my receipt in order to file this complaint against her. That horrible experience left a very bad feeling about my future patronage and if she is still employed there, I expect her to be dealt with.
