Utterly disgraceful.
I purchased a full sectional, a large snuggle chair, and a 75-inch TV from Leons Furniture, spending several thousand dollars. During delivery, the driver and laborer were clearly at odds and unable to work together. In the process, they backed the truck into my deck railing, causing visible damage.
When I reported it, the service manager told me, “We fired the old guy,” referring to the driver. The general manager assured me, “Just get us a quote — we’ll send it to legal, and they’ll issue a cheque once they process it.” He even confirmed, “The driver already let us know and showed us the photos.”
I went a step further and provided video evidence of the incident. For weeks, I was told “the lawyers are dealing with it.” Nearly a month later, I’ve now learned they never intended to resolve it at all.
It’s deeply disappointing to see a company of this size refuse to take responsibility — especially when the evidence is crystal clear. Based on this experience, I have no confidence they would honor any warranty or service commitment going forward.it truly makes one worried about the extended insurances we purchased
Be warned: they damage your property, delay, and deflect until you give up. Absolutely unacceptable.
Recommendation: They play games, hide from accountability, and are not worth the investment into their furniture. Dont shop at Leons, or the Brick as they are owned by the same company.
