Hey Lazada, if you claim to be the number one online store, how the heck could you possibly lay off more than 50 people in your company? You are being run by illegal aliens, and your co-founders are a-holes and perverts - they demand for impossible things and things that they can access themselves. Most of the foreigners here frequent the NightClubs of the Makati area and can be seen either brawling or hooking up with hookers. LAZADA even created a lazada review website just so people who are searching would only see positive reviews and cases you were able to solve - this is plain cheating. your customer service sucks and the things written on your website to describe your products can be written better by an elementary student. If you cant even check the grammar on your website - I can only image what it is like in your office.
did not received item purchased
I purchased a phone from lazada through groupon last June 22 but I haven't received the item until now. I followed up from them but they said that it was already forwarded to their courier (XEND) and just wait for the item to be delivered. They also gave me the contact number of XEND so I can check for myself. But it was really shocking when I found out that it was already delivered to the someone else pretending to be the owner. Lazada kept on promising me that they will follow up my order but my order never came. This is really frustrating. I think this company is a BIG JOKE !

Lazada is terrible. I constantly have problems with every aspect of their company. They have very poor customer service that just give template responses and do not actually help or solve problems. It's a struggle to cancel an overdo order and get a refund. There are lots of bugs on their websites and apps.
I’ve been waiting for two months to get a refund. You have everything from the first complaint form I sent in. Evidently your claims department is stalling.

Impossible to unsubscribe from them
My bad experience with them is not even purchasing any products. It's simple as unsubscribing from their email list in which i've done soooooo many times I can't count anymore. I also contacted their customer service probably more than i've clicked 'unsubscribed' but hell, all they say is "sorry this and than. . . We've already solved your issue (Which you don't, haven't and don't think you'll ever do) ".
What's worse than this is "i didn't even subscribed to their list!" I didn't even know that this lousy looking deal site even exist! They are probably buying emails from leads gen selling sites or scraping emails and stuff but honestly, I don't give a crap if they do. All I want them to do is simply remove my email from their list. I feel like they have this "possessive-obsessive" thing going on with their list.
I hate spam because I use my email for personal and business use and I don't think they know and or respect that.
I also experienced unauthorized purchase using my card.. and I cannot delete my account in Lazada.
I am also unable to unsubscribe. I sent a request to unsubscribe, if the do not unsubscribe me I will launch a denial of service attack to bring their system down.
Someone from Vietnam stole my email and purchased items from them Lazada Vietnam websites. I emailed them and asked to remove my email from their system but they didn’t do anything. I can’t unsubscribe or do anything else to remove my email. I have to bring up here to let everyone knows about their company.

I have just created an acct with lazada simply bec. i meant to view some items that i may possibly purchase soon..i was surprised that i got a mail from them saying that they are thanking me for subscribing to their newsletter..which i never did and even sent them a msg saying that my neice (who was next to me) might have clicked it by mistake, ..until i read some of the comments here that the same thing happened to them..i was in the live chat, but the agent was not even helpful, she just said that i can unsubscribe..i told her that there is no such option..so..what do i do now?..i don't want to pay anything every month for something that i did not even ask for..pls serve justice to ur online users..i wld need immediate attention on this matter pls..

I agree with what Vinaa has written about UNSUBSCRIBING to newsletter. I've been receiving newsletter from LAZADA countless time in a day and it is very irritating. When i tried to UNSUBSCRIBE to the website, at first it will ask you to change the frequency of receiving newsletter which believe i truly understand but since i really would like to stop receiving newsletter from LAZADA, i clicked the continue to unsubscribe. What made me blow up is when i tried to unsubscribe, it says there something like "you are now unsubscribe but you are still going to receive few newsletter from us" something like that then when i checked my email i received 2 emails at the same time which says "you are now unsubscribe" and the other one is "welcome to lazada and thank you for registering" what the hell is that? This is totally unacceptable and definitely this is way beyond my privacy!
LAZADA if you are not going to work on this i would definitely not going to stop spreading this message over and over again. You better fix your unsubscription page. I am truly not happy. I am so annoyed with this whole ordeal.

Silly answer. You don't read the question, moreover care of your customer. I'm from Indonesia, lazada.co.id and trully hate their spams. Clicking unsubscribe only brings me to login with no option to unsubscribe at all.

I've had a very bad experience with www.lazada.com.ph..I purchased 2 CPs from their website on May 30, 2012 using my credit card and until now (June 29, 2012) I don't have those items yet. I've been calling their customer service using my mobile phone, but they could not give me a concrete explanation about what has happened. I've talked to different agents and they also kept on promising to call me back and promised to give me the tracking number. It's almost one month now and I don't have any news about my order--[protected]. It's really frustrating. How could they be so irresponsible. This is my first time to purchase from this company and they really gave me a very bad impression. I will no longer buy from this site again.
I have had a similar experience with Lazada. On April 1, I ordered an air purifier through them and as of today (April 18), I have not received it. I personally know of 3 people who have ordered after I did AND HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED their purifiers. Lazada does nothing but give me the runaround about this order. I too received an email similar to above about their service.
It has been over a week now since I have heard anything from them. The store I ordered the item from will not respond. Thankfully the order was placed cash on delivery. This is my first and last order from Lazada.

Lazada is not comprable with amazon and other reputable online stores in short do not order expensive item even if using a credit card. Credit card companies in the philippines are poor so disputes are difficult . Order cheap items only and via Cod. test it and let them wait keep expectations low and cya i shoul be usable

I have my order from your company Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8" I9152 (Black), order # [protected] and tracking # L0211132J, when I track it at 2GO website it says: "Undelivered. - Reason: return to sender". My order was on July 26 and until now i didn't received any status about my order in my e-mail or sms.
What happened? I did not received any confirmation from 2GO company. And now it says Undelivered? Returned to sender? I thought it was a door to door delivery services.
Lazada, you should cooperate with your partnership shipping companies in delivering the goods/orders for the satisfaction of your clients. If this will not be action, I will not buy from your company anymore.

IF YOU ARE HAPPY WITH LAZADA, THEN IS COMPARABLE WITH WINNING LOTERY! LAZADA IS FOR ME BAD, totally different level compared with amazon . I would not recommend anyone to buy anything from lazada, only get headache and high blood. The support and service departments are mostly incompetent. I just want to air my disappointment with lazada.com.ph. Only this 3rd week of February, I purchased chictees dress large size.worth 999.00 php. they said if its your second order, shipping charge is free. But to my dismay I paid additional charge of 99.00 though that was my 3rd purchase already so all in all I paid 1098.00. Worst thing is, when I checked the item it was a wrong size, instead of large they gave me XL. I called up the customer service and asked for a refund they told me to send back the item to them but they will give back the shipping fee in which I paid 115.00 for sending it back. You know the reason why i chose online shopping is I dont have time to go to the malls, but i was forced to deal with this because I want them to give my money back. It was only last march 8 when I received confirmation that I can claim my refund amounting to 1, 000. Isn't it too disappointing and too unfair on my part. For its not my fault, I spent 1213.00, but only 1, 000 php was given back to me. But I promised and even told my friends about my experience and never to purchase from lazada anymore. I dare lazada for this comment, now tell me isnt it too unfair for your customer like me?

deceitful processes of purchase
I saw a nikon d90 body at lazada.com.ph while browsing the web. For a month now, I was really planning to upgrade my entry level dslr to something more challenging and compensating camera body. Since I already have few lenses and arsenals for this hobby, I scouted for a brand new d90 body at the lowest price possible hence the find at www.lazada.com.ph
So, enticed with the price, I check lazada's background (since they seemed new in the web) and found out that they are operating in malaysia and somewhere in middle east. The latter operation changed to mizado after they were mocked for cloning amazon. They seemed to me to be legit and so I was convinced to pursue my planned purchase. I called up their hotline and placed an order of my longed dslr d90 body. It was as smooth as silk. They told me to deposit the total quote in a bank account as I opted to use the bank transfer payment option. I deposited on arpil 24, 2012 right after the bank open (at about 8:30). I called up their hotline again to confirm the receipt of my payment and they acknowledged it so. The representative who accommodated me assured that they will be able to process my order on the 25th since they will have some processing of my payment.
I called up their hotline again morning of 25th to follow-up the status of my order. I clearly explained to the representative that I don't mind the 5-10 days policy of delivery because I can fairly live with it. What I emphasized was that I want to know when the item will be leaving from their end for me to know when it will arrive here in iloilo. I was just trying to establish it because I want to pre-plan my trip on the next days (since my job involves traveling) and be able to receive the merchandise personally to check defects, should there be any, incurred by freight handling. Lazada told me tha "don't worry sir, we will call you as soon as our partner courier will be shipping your item". They told me further that the item is already with them and they are processing it. I waited the call they promised for the whole day. Nobody from lazada called.
Today, I was complacent that a call may be made by them by morning or noon after they fail to do so as promised in the previous day. When the clock hits 2:00pm, I remembered my purchase and wondered why such a delay. I called up their hotline again and since I was traveling, I used my phone (yes, it was indeed expensive).
A certain kris told me that they are processing my order and it is already forwarded in their logistics department. I explained again why I was making follow-ups despite the advice that it is already on process. My call was interrupted maybe due to signal problem so I called up again and the same agent (kris) told me she will follow-up their logistics department about the shipment of my purchase. The call was interrupted again so to establish a commitment, I called up again and a certain charm answered me. I asked her for kris but she said she had several inbound calls. I asked charm to relay to kris that I would really appreciate it if she can follow-up when their logistics department will ship my item - charm yielded and a little of redundant explanation was made when I brought up my concern again. I wasn't pissed then because they committed on shipping it.
A few minutes from the time of this post, a representative from lazada phoned me and informed me that the item I purchased is already out of stock. I felt like my hypertension's going to hit me. I suspected then that I was scammed by lazada. I withheld my rage, although nagged the agent why it took them 3-days to know they are already out of stock of that merchandise. The rep told me because there were lots of orders for that merchandise. Well, they could have known that on the day I placed my order. It was indeed deceitful and it so appear they're fooling their customers. The rep told me that they will have my money reimbursed with an inconvenience compensation of php 500 on top of the sum I deposited. I told to just deposit my money immediately and she yielded. It seemed suspicious though because the rep did not even take my account number where they will deposit my money.
As of this time, the item I want to purchase is still displayed in their website and shows proudly as "in stock". Absurd and at the same time deceitful.
Do not buy at lazada, they may be legitimate but their abusive and if you're easy, they may have your money and time taken.
Hi Hulk... I'm sorry if I get you worried with this post. But don't worry, Lazada is very legitimate and I guess they are a good online shopping store. What I've written there was full of emotions when Lazada failed to handle my isolated matter correctly. If Lazada can't get back on you in few hours, they could have shipped your item already.
I already got my money deposited back in my account. I won't say I faulted on posting this review. I explained to Lazada that they should view my complaint and review positively to improve their system. I'd appreciate it if you get back on this thread if you have your purchase already.

After all the complaints i've read i think many of you will be discouraged. I have been a long time customer of Lazada Phil and so far it has been a good experience. my advice is that you should take advantage of their COD payment para walang sakit sa ulo.Its safe than using your credit cards.Most of their items even expensive ones are available thru COD.In fairness to Lazada phil they are legit.i have purchased 50+ items from them.i have also returned about two defective items and was refunded after two days.

Hello there...Same case happened to me...I ordered a tablet for my daughter's bday present ...I paid using my Credit Card and after a while a receive an email confirming that my order is in process...they also send me the order number to track my order...day by day i keep on checking the status since my daughter's bday is approaching...only to find out after contacting their customer service that my order wasn't process due to technical reasons... after several days they didn't bother to email me that there was a problem with my order and worst it has been charged to my credit card!..i need my credit card charges reversal...asap
Thats why you have a choce like cash on delivery, to be sure that the product will arrive before paying it.

I am also having a hard time waiting for my parcel from Lazada. I'm not sure if it's at their end or with 2GO. I'm beginning to get pissed because up to know I haven't got any update from them, No call, no sms, no e-mail updates from both lazada and 2GO. It seemed to me that they are ignoring me or something. This is my first time to order from them coz I thought I would be satisfied with their service. But I was wrong. First impression lasts. I'll cancel my order tommorow and I won't do business from them again!
If you order small things, it may be ok! But let your finger to order expensive things. You will have headache and problems only.
