If I can help one person, then I can turn a bad thing into something positive. I joined a few months ago. I'm 60+ & hadn't been to a gym in decades. I ended up signing & paying $71 dollars for what I thought were one hour private lessons. At no point during my signup, did they discuss with me that I was paying $71 dollars for ONLY 25 MINUTES of training. To me lying by omission still lying. I was very upset & the best that my salesperson would do, was put me into the group class that happens at either 5:30pm on Wednesdays or 9:30am on Saturdays with Aldo Silva at the Yale location in Houston, that averages 14 people per class. At least, I was getting an hour workout, but it was not a personal private class. I didn't get to pick my trainer or time or work on my individual goals. I didn't end up going to the gym much, cuz it reminded me of being bamboozled by them. I also sign up on the third of the month & thought my last day would have been 9/2/26, after giving them proper notice of cancellation. Turns out per them, that my last day was 9/1/26. So, I couldn't attend my last $71 dollar group class that I paid for with Aldo on 9/2/26, cuz I no longer had access to the club...unless I paid for another month membership to attend the class. So, buyer beware.
