Kmart review: christmas items

I purchase Christmas Items at 50% off on 12/27/15. I tried to return some of the items yesterday 1/3/15 and was told by a really snotty sales clerk that Christmas items were non-refundable. She said it was on my receipt. There is nothing on the receipt that says Christmas items are non-returnable. Of course, seeing it on the receipt is too late anyway. Also, when I checked the items out, nothing was told to me that all sales were final. I think the store should advertise on their 50% signs that all sales are final. I then purchased a Christmas tree yesterday and waited for the clerk to tell me that it was non-returnable. Nothing was said at checkout again. I think the store should at least give me store credit for the merchandise I do not want.
