The EPA must've created a new level of efficiency for dishwashers. Therefore, most have an auto-open door feature. For those of us poor people who still have particle board countertops, this moisture will eventually destroy the particle board. The Manual describes how to disable it. The listed procedure does not work. The next feature is described as a "tall tub". No, it is a lowered tub. For us older people that can be a problem loading and unloading the plates. It has a third rack, presumably for smaller items. However, the holes are so big, often times items fall down to the second rack, creating a less than ideal washing experience. Where has all the common sense gone? Can't get away from this conglomerate because most appliances fall under their umbrella nowdays. Maybe go back to hand washing.
Recommendation: make sure to get the extended warranty. Our LG went out after two years, with no attempt to fix it.
