KitchenAid dishwasher

I purchased a Kitchen Aid under counter dishwasher( Model #KUDE48FXSS, Serial # F11901477) in January of 2013 and it was delivered and installed on February 18, 2013. Since then I have had to have service twice for the same problem which is that the dishwasher simply will not turn on and just stops working for no reason.
The last time this happened was a year ago in September 2017.

Today, again, I tried to start the dishwasher and nothing.
I bought this appliance from Henry's Electric Inc. in Lee, MA when we built our new kitchen. The cost was 1299.00. I now have spent 500.00 so far in house calls and parts and labor to have it fixed twice. Now I have to spend another 250.00 in a house call parts and labor.

So I now have 2049.00 into this dishwasher and it doesn't work.

I think you appliances are extremely inferior because I had a microwave that
I got rid of after three years because it was too costly to fix. I bought that in 2013 as well and had to purchase a new one in December of 2016. I did not buy Kitchen Aid.

KitchenAid bbq cover

To whom this may concern,

I purchased a KitchenAid BBQ cover in summer of 2017 and not met up to my expectations. It is just over a year old and has several rips due to the vinyl drying out due to the Sun. Many are located where the seam meets. I bought this cover as I liked the look of it and it was fairly expensive which I thought would last over many years. I am now looking at getting another cover however, I wanted to reach out to KitchenAid to see what can be done before hand. The cover costed me roughly $80 taxes in. Again, I had many choices to choose from however, I decided on this cover because I thought a higher price one would exceed my expectations and last for many years as apposed to a cheaper one which perhaps wouldn't. I'm asking KitchenAid to replace my BBQ cover and stand by their products.

KitchenAid fridge

I call back in June due to my fridge not cooling at this time my fridge was under warranty today sept 12/18 my fridge finally got fixed this is unacceptable. Because I waited so long when the technician was taking fridge apart there was mildew everywhere they knew back first visit that this was happening because they replaced ice door due to mildew on it . The technician said that bad his first visit he tried to replace fridge but was told to replace parts

KitchenAid artisan stand mixer

I bought the Artisan Stan Mixer at Kohl's for my daughter for Christmas in 2017. There was supposed to be a $60.00 rebate and I sent everything required to them for the rebate Dec. 31, 2017. Never received the rebate and when I called to inquire about it, was told they never received it. Sounds like it was just a scam because according to reviews, neither did anyone else

KitchenAid 7 cup food processor

My second KitchenAid food processor just broke. The same issues as the first one: Cheap plastic parts that crack off. Both processors were difficult to lock into place to turn on. The first one had a plastic part break off of the handle. I contacted the company for parts, and they sold me a brand new one instead. This one worked for a few years, but I only use occasionally. Now a different part cracked off of the handle, so the motor does not turn on. Looking at the cost of a new container, (around $50), it just doesn't pay to replace the part. It will also be made of cheap plastic and break again. I will not buy another KitchenAid processor. I will be looking for better quality next time.

KitchenAid dishwasher kdfe104dss2

We purchased Dishwasher in December of 2015 for $599.00. Had our first service call in January of 2016 for an intermittent buzzing sound after it filled and was about to start washing. They said the buzzing was a hose under the motor and they moved the hose. The buzzing continued, but the dishwasher worked and it wasn't too annoying. This brings us to August 2018 and dishwasher fills, but does not wash, then eventually empties. We call service again. This time it is $89.00 to show up to diagnosis and could be as much as $400.00 for parts. I call Kitchenaid and they eventually agree to cover the parts if we cover the labor. Technician comes, and before he even does a diagnostic says it is likely the water pump as this is a common repair on these machines. His diagnostic confirms and the part will be $210.00 and the labor $175.00. He basically replaces the entire motor. So after spending $175.00 on a Dishwasher that is 2yrs 9 months old, we now have a dishwasher that works again and oddly, no buzzing sound. I suspect that the problem has always been a defective pump and we just had to pay for the labor to replace a pump that has been bad since we purchased the dishwasher. I appreciate that Kitchenaid at least paid for the part, but I do not appreciate that their products don't last. I will likely never buy another Kitchenaid appliance.

KitchenAid oven ksgg700es serial no. r60324703

This oven is not something I would be proud of, if I were the President of KitchenAid. Just after the warranty ran out, the oven exhaust fan died on us, shutting down the oven, broiler and timers. Impact Appliances ordered a new exhaust fan and a week later tried to repair the oven. This exhaust fan, though the original part number, now had a different connector. No one was told that there was a change in the connector. After waiting another week the correct part finally showed up and Impact replaced the fan. Soon after the oven would not light, it wanted to, but the valve (W10554066 Valve, Regulator) would not stay open and allow it to ignite. We ordered a part, and the gal at KitchenAid said she would send the part at no charge. It did not show up for a couple of weeks. In the mean time I had called to see where the part was and some gentleman could not figure out where it was, so he sent me a new one. I got the new part and soon after the original part showed up too. Two weeks late! My repair man installed one and the oven still did not work. Then he installed the second one and it did not work either. These valves are made by Invensys which is not Allied Electric in Lake Forest. I use to call on Allied and to my experience they never did make what I would call quality products. So now, two months have gone by and my wife has a range that cost us over $2, 000 dollars and it still does not work. I was contacted by these people to see if I would be willing to make a video complaining about my KitchenAid oven (https://www.pissedconsumer.com/). I told them at the time that I did not want to do that yet, that I preferred to work with the factory if I could. I'm getting close to calling them back. I personally would like to know if KitchenAid would be willing to prorate this on a new oven. I'd also like to talk to a regional manager or factory rep.

KitchenAid stand mixer

After my purchase of the stand mixer. I had washed my bowl out several times before mixing my cake batter. Only to realise while scraping the sides of the bowl, residue grey scraped off with the batter. Appalled at the world renoun product. KitchenAid range top oven and microwave

My wife and I had the kitchen remodeled two years ago. We bought a KitchenAid dish washer, refrigerator, gas oven and microwave. The oven and microwave are terrible. I have almost bought the oven all over again for all the repairs to it. The microwave is no different. The oven exhaust fan went out after only two years, so the oven could not be used until it was fixed. When the part arrive, the Chinese manufactured part came in the manufacturer had changed the connector on the fan and they had to order several more before finally finding one that had the right connector. This took a couple of weeks. The repair man left, thinking all was well, but it wasn't. The gas valve to start the oven comes on momentarily then shuts off. That part is now on order and should be her by next Thursday, meanwhile we've been out of an oven for over two weeks again. The microwave has a bad habit of telling you to open and shut the door and try again. After doing that about 20 times it may register and actually work it is frustrating. I believe that even though KitchenAid is assembled in the USA, many parts are Chinese built, especially the electronics

KitchenAid bankofamerica debit card

After many attempts at bankamerica to activate refund debit card at this bank, I have given up trying. It was quite an experience and i will not buy anything again which requires this much work . kitchenaid has good products and they do not need put customers thru such a bad experience. Do not promise a rebate and require so much time for us to try to take advantage of the offer. [protected]@aol.com

KitchenAid repeated unresolved issue

I purchased a refrigerator from Kitchen Aid thinking that it will be a top brand, it has caused me nothing but problems. I went through multiple fixes since 2012. There was frost building up inside of the fridge, and it will start making loud noises and water will start leaking out, and the temperature will rise melting things inside. I called in for a service and your certified technician came in February 2018, he concluded that the thermostat was the issue, so I paid for the part and the labor to have that fixed; now the same issue arose in June, I then had to call in another service call. But this time your certified technician says it is another part that is causing the issue. So I paid for the part and the same labor for the same issue that was not resolved in the first place. It seems like that if it is not one part then it is another, and if the problem arises again I would have to pay more money for the another part but the same labor. I require a full refund for the issue that should have been resolved months ago for which I was charged for.

KitchenAid our refrigerator and your lack of customer service

Model # KFCS 22 EVOSMSO / Serial Number KW 5016410

We have had numerous service calls on this appliance. Broken drawer, ice maker malfunction, noisy operation. No it is going to 41 degrees and the freezer temperature to 5.

I was on hold for 12, yes 12 minutes hoping to speak to a staff member. Second service call on this matter in a month.

Customer service need attention. Our entire kitchen is Kitchen Aid and we are unable to speak with a trained employee. What are you thinking. Not repeat customers.

KitchenAid product and service on kitchenaid fridge

Hi my kitchenaid fridge was working fine for the first 11mouth. Then it start to make noise the technicien came to fix it. He said he cant do anything. Then after calling many time they finally change it and now its worsth then before i very disapoint with this product i really want to excange it or a refund. Because its is horrible. I keep calling and noting is getting done. Its making so much noise the fridge i cant even sleep.

KitchenAid grill brush

My name is Michael Delmedico, I recently purchased a grill brush ( today) 3 times the price of any other brush on the shelf at Home Depot. First of all it doesn't clean anything and it melted in two seconds. I am very disappointed in your product. I've had grill brushes that I purchased for three dollars that have lasted all season. KitchenAid refrigerator and dishwasher

We have purchased a dishwasher and refrigerator by Kitchen Aid and have had nothing but trouble with both. After 3 service calls the refrigerator is still not closing correct. The dishwasher never worked and leaked all over my new hardwood floors. I am ready to return them all back to Karl's in Fairfield NJ..

KitchenAid emails ignored by consumercare. [protected]@kitchenaid. eu

I recently purchased a standalone mixer and emailed consumercare.[protected]@kitchenaid.eu after the online appliance registration process failed. On the 28th May they replied stating that my appliance was indeed registered and warranty protected. They also notified me of a free book that would be delivered. Wonderful except I work away from the registration address given (armed forces). I expressed this on a email reply on the 28th May also. On the same day they acknowledge my request of a change to the delivery address for the book and said they had passed this on to the book department. I then received from [protected]@kitchenaid.eu a message stating that the book would be dispatched in about 3-4 weeks due to a high volume of orders. This isn't the issue. The issue remains that i have since emailed consumercare.[protected]@kitchenaid.eu twice more asking for a confirmation as to the change of address with the book department (as I have no means of contacting them directly) and I have been ignored. I just want a simple yes or no. As I have repeatedly expressed if the book is sent (regardless of when) to my registration address then no one will be there to receive it! You'd have wasted postage and time and left me the customer with still no book. hence the address change request. This email of complaint is now the 3rd time I have raise this simple instruction. This lack of communication by consumercare.[protected]@kitchenaid.eu doesn't fill me with confidence should I actually have a real appliance issue in the next 5 years that needs resolving.

KitchenAid kitchenaid clamping plate/bowl

Hello,

I had a green Artisan KitchenAid for a couple of years now. I replaced the bowl and clamping plate multiple times now. Whenever I tried using the mixer to mix eggs or flour with butter, etc, the bowl does not hold to clamping plate-it always remove the bowl whenever we mix the baking items and we have to hold the bowl down.

I would like to have the kitchen aid replaced. I am really unhappy with the product.

KitchenAid ice machine purchased on 9/11/15 model kuix505ess

Very disappointed with your product! I purchased 6 of your appliances on 9/11/15 for a total of approximately $12, 000. The ice machine listed above has continued to break down and has not worked since we have had it. This machine was $1940 which is not cheap! We have had it serviced several times and are even out of pocket for the services. Again, it has failed and is not working. The machine continues to automatically shut off, the ice leaks and melts all over my hardwood floors. Fortunately, we have always caught it, and it has not damaged our floors. I will not continue to put more money into this machine that is obviously defective. With all of the money I have spent on your appliances, I am requesting that this machine be replaced.

Disappointed with Kitchenaid! Although they have agreed to pay for the parts, why should I have to pay for the service call?! I spent $12, 000 on their appliances and find this to be ridiculous! Obviously this machine is a lemon!

KitchenAid cracked ice cream maker

Along with 500 other owners online my KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker has cracked after just couple of uses. This item has not been dropped, banged, or smashed, just a poor design. To make things worse there is no KitchenAid reply to emails, chat or calls to their customer service contact. 0 out of 5 rating, does not get much worse. How can anyone even consider buying a product from KitchenAid? Total Junk!

KitchenAid kitchenaid dishwasher - poor quality

This dishwasher is just a little over 1 year old and I had to replace the upper rack adjusters for $289.00. These are little plastic pieces that I'm quite certain will break again. I've always had KitchenAid dishwashers but this is the poorest quality ever. All my others had non-plastic parts. These new rack adjusters are only under warranty for four months. I have since learned from the service company that KitchenAid is no longer using these parts and have gone back to non-plastic. I think I should be entitled to a refund or a new dishwasher.
