I am finished with these evil clowns. I will not set foot inside a King Soopers again.
I did it with McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and Taco Bell, and I’ll do it with this BS brand as well.
Only like 20% of the food in the store is worth eating anyway. My focus is on produce and protein. Everyone knows what’s happened to eggs. Now the same thing as happening with nuts. King Soopers brand Organics sold 16 ounces of nuts for $8, but now they have literally reduced the packaging by 50% it’s now 8 ounces for $8.
They have even raised their prices on bruised and over ripe produce by 50%
As if this shrink inflation and belated price gouging was not enough. They also do not honor digital coupon prices even after you take the time to go onto the website click on each item and even photograph it so you can show proof. When you bring it up to the person at check-out person determined after several unfortunate occurrences — the higher up the corporate ladder that person is the greater the pushback you’re going to get. I have shown a assistant manager the picture I show it to him right in his face and he still will not give me the discount. I can’t think of more blatant fraud than that. And the kicker is you walk away thinking you did something wrong as you exit the store with the armed guard. The irony is they are the actual crooks. These experiences I have been having have been at the Thornton Colorado stores on 120th and 104th. Perhaps it’s different at other locations, but I will never know because I am finished with them. I am happy to pay slightly higher prices at other stores, but it’s the constant relentless cheating and tricky I can no longer take. This brand as well as anything Kroger related is dead to me.
