I am extremely disappointed with Kia America's handling of my Lemon Law claim and the complete lack of communication throughout this process.
My Lemon Law claim was submitted on May 7, 2026, and was escalated on May 11, 2026. As of today, August 6, 2026, nearly three months have passed with virtually no communication. I received one call from a customer service representative early in the process, and since then I have received no meaningful updates despite waiting patiently.
As a customer, this experience has been incredibly frustrating. No one should have to wait months without knowing the status of their claim. I have repeatedly been left wondering whether anyone is even working on my case.
The lack of communication is unacceptable. If additional information is needed, someone should contact me. If there is a delay, I should be informed. Instead, I have been left in the dark for months.
I purchased this vehicle expecting reliability and customer support. Instead, I have spent months dealing with a vehicle that qualifies for a Lemon Law claim and an unresponsive claims process. Customers deserve timely communication and fair treatment, especially when dealing with a matter as serious as a defective vehicle.
I am asking Kia America to immediately review my claim, provide a clear status update, assign someone to communicate directly with me, and resolve my Lemon Law claim without any further unnecessary delays.
I hope this complaint encourages Kia to improve its customer service and claim handling so that other customers do not have to experience the same level of frustration and uncertainty that I have.
