On August 8 2019 I signed up for a $5.00 charge for JustAnswer requesting information regarding a legal matter. My question was answered and I was partly satisfied. August 11 2019 they charged my Visa $47.00, August 18, 2019 $67.00, September 18, 2019 another $67.00. I NEVER APPROVED A MEMBERSHIP. They've OVERCHARGED me $181.00 for a $5.00 stupid answer. I want to be reimbursed ASAP. I went to they're website to complain but I HAVE TO PAY $5.00 to complain and request a reimbursement. Thus is so WRONG. How do I go about getting them to reimburse me and to STOP them from stealing.

unauthorized billing
Since november 2018 i have been billed on my murphy charge card for a service called 'just answer'. I do not remember authorizing these payments. In fact, until i looked up 'just answer' on the internet today i was unaware of the service they provided.
On or about march 19, 2019 i made a request that they discontinue billing my account and that they refund all amounts billed. At this time the unauthorized amount billed was approximately $182.00. On april 5 2019 i received an email from something called 'the avangate support team'. However, no refund has been received and i continue to be billed for this unauthorized service. Once again i am asking that 'just answer' stop billing me and that they refund all of the $504.00 that has been paid by my murphy charge card.

I used your website to try get some information when I was trying to sell a chinese vase early sept I think possible late August, you were unable to help and you actually responded to me saying that. I am not interested in a $41.20 membership cost which has been charged to my credit account and have canceled it. I respectfully ask you to refund the amount. I believe i did not agree to it and any agreement has been out of a misunderstanding as to what was happening, I did not realise i was signing up to such a cost.

I asked for help from Google regarding its wrongly shutting down my gmail after sending 400 emails on Friday and 350 emails over 24 hours later. Google instead of answering my concern shunted me to Just Answer for a problem Google caused. I don not want a subscription to Just Answer. Please cancel my subscription. I do not want to change my credit card or call my U.S. senator about this.

After a few hours on the phone, I have to give the customer service team credit. They caught the transaction in time and cancelled it. I can expect the charge, not to go through.

They dis the same thing to me since February 4 2020. I wasn't using my credit card because I was trying to pay it off. So I hadn't really been checking on it until one day I noticed it wasn't going down like it should. So I seen some justanswer. Com had been taking out 34 every month without my permission! I asked one question about my truck back in February for 5 dollars. Well I said oh no I can't pay that, I guess I waisted my 5 dollars. But they removed a paragraph obviously, because it doesn't say anything about how much it was gonna really cost aside from the 5 dollars. I did not sign up for any membership. I got one month back they owe me close to 325.00! I'm disabled and why would I want to be a member of that? I didn't they just basically stole my money and my credit card company is trying to help me get it refunded. They r something else, scammers!
same here. took 44 for a phone call i never got, adn the taking £44 every month with out premission. this is theft/fraud pyure and simple, they dont respond to any questions. they thinkbecause they are lawyers they can get away with it, but if anyone else is having he same problem, let me know and i will start a class action suit against them
Same here. I asked one question and was charged $65 the first time. I was like okay, this is still cheaper than 1 hr legal consulation. Little did i know it was going to be a monthly recurring charge. No help with their helpline. They hide behind their terms of condition whicb no one reads and they make sure not to mention it when you are paying for the first time service charge. Please start a law suit.
Can't believe $50 a month has been taken out without my authority I tried the $5 trial and they automatictcly put me on monthly account . Been going for months before my wife asked the question . Beware of sites like JustAnswer! They just want your money! I tried out their trial, and thought I canceled the Service when I got this message and texted STOP. Then a week later they charged me $46. I cancelled the service right after, and called their customer service, and the lady did not even try to give me a refund. Even after they mislead me to thinking that I had ended the service. The site is very dodgy and doesn't make it very easy to actually end the subscription if you want. I'm going to share my experience in using the website so that they don't trick anymore people into the subscription scam.

I owe restitution after my attorney screwed me and several other people. Somehow I was they only one they targeted and offered a plea for 1 count of wire fraud. My uncles'
s estate had 1, 000, 000 missing but there is an attorney he worked for that had 3.5 m missing and they did nothing to. Regardless I am required to pay restitution for the rest of my life. I am disabled, I have had 29 joint surgeries on many joints and have a spinal fusion and replaced shoulder. I am on a fixed income and they want to take the most possible 15%. I tried to use Just Answer nearly a month ago about a similar but different question and got some [censored] that talked all around my question but never answered it so I cancelled the service within a couple of days . I just called again hoping to get a better attorney that could help me and was made to call their main number so they could try to charge me for a month plus an additional charge for a new lawyer. I told them to FU off. You should too this service is nothing but bull to get you from you're money. Don't make the mistake I made. There has to be someones one better that really wants to help. I have had $73 dollars taken out of my account twice now and havent used this and dont plan on using this again! This morning i woke to find most of my kids grocery money taken from us. On Aug. 12, 2019 I placed a call to JustAnswer about an Amazon.com channel malfunction. I had to wait and the technician could not readily correct the problem. A credit card number was required to cover the minutes of call. During the call an emergency arose with one of my children and I cancelled the call. I was asked if I wanted the JustAnswer membership and emphatically told the technician no because I wanted the verbal instructions so that I could correct the problem myself in the future. The television problem went unresolved. I have not called back.
I get my Capital One Mastercard bill and I'm billed $46.00 for JustAnswer membership and $1.00 for various charities. And now they want to charge me to talk to lawyer to straighten this out. I don't think so.

Not going to beat around bush here.My first and last time ill be using this service recently used this service to ask about an issue with my car and recent garage visit, hoping for advice really.my question replied to by a chap called "Gavin Perry" . Stated everything to the best of my knowledge, the intial reply i recived from this person was basically very limited "not the expert knowledge she was hoping for" given that he or shes profile doesnt state credentials im not suprised.to then be asked for her personal email and mobile number! not sure why? he said it was for a private correspondance and he would phone my garage if i gave him their number which i thought was fine so gave my mobile number and the garage number.to then be greated and hassled by text messages from an unknown private number claiming that i have to pay extra money £100 for his private expertise to phone my garage and wire transfer it to a bank account first before hand.Its clearly a BIG Phishing SCAM.if anyone else comes across this guy PLEASE PLEASE make sure you do not give him any email or mobile numbers.He's clearly trying his luck to scam people into givin out larger sums of money in return for claiming he'll sort your problems out.i was on the ball and know about these type of scams and knew if i gave him the amount he wanted you wouldnt hear from him again.ive since blocked this person out and certainly wont be using this service again!

My husband is having problems with a 1999 Tahoe and he wanted to try the $1.00 free trail on your site, so asked the question and waited for 45 minutes to get a response, says he didn't get one, so he disconnected from the site. Now we have been charged $34.0 to our Debit card, we would lie a refund of $34.00 because we never agreed to accept the subscription. Please advise via email at: [protected]@peoplepc.com. legal question
NOT HAPPY - I asked a question, of which I received and answer. I informed them then that I did NOT require any further assistance. Was charged for the answer. I have since been charged 2 amounts of $66.00. My bank has been unable to find information. I want my funds returned. I have had to cancel my card. I would like a response and a refund. I used this service just once and later was billed $46. It was Sunday, so I couldn't complain then. Called first thing Monday. They are cancelling my membership but say they won't refund. Beware. This is a typical scam where you use a service not realizing you will be charged for a subscription later. This is how many companies make their money these days, unfortunately because you happen to use their service online. This isn't over.

I paid 5 dollars to submit a question about my Tahoe. The tech I received gave answers that didn't work and try to upcharge me to a phone call. I refused and accepted the fact that I wasted 5 dollars and my time. 7 days later Justanswer .com began billing my credit card 34 dollars a month. I called to get a refund and was told that they could only refund the latest charge but would cancel my subscription that I never knowingly authorized. They are a scam.

I was having trouble with my HP Printer, it would not hook up with my laptop on bluetooth, the tech took control of my laptopi think he had control for a couple days, he tried everything to try and fix the problem, to no avail. My money was deducted unfairly.
I requested for a session, of which i paid for, i didn't request for a session afterwards.
But just today 9th Sept, 2019, an amount of USD46, my just paid internship allowance for September was deducted leaving me with NGN500.
Kindly help me look into this, am depressed. The reason i had a session in the first place wasn't resolved adequately by the doctor that attended to me, but i let it slide.

I had an infection on my left palm for more than 6 months, and i stumbled on Justanswers.com. I contacted them to request for a doctor. I was linked with a doctor, who recommended some topical medication, which I could only get on Amazon, and not in my country (Nigeria). I paid the doctor's service fee charge immediately, and Ii didn't request for a membership service or whatsoever.
But today 9th September 2019. I wanted to make a withdrawal, and I discovered an amount of USD46 has been deducted from my account...

On August 20, 2019 I was on ATT site to find out why my TV's WIFI was out of work. JUST ANSWER site popped up asking for $5.00 charge with a message below it, 'Guaranteed Refund'. I took it to mean that it is an ATT partner and I agreed to pay $5.00 since it would be refunded. JUST ANSWER failed to provide any answer.
The next thing I noticed was I have been charged another $46.00 on my next statement. I called JUST ANSWER for this unauthorized charge and asked for refund today, ie. Sept 8, 2019. They refused.
This company is a FRAUD and should be listed as such and stopped.
I want a REFUND OF all amounts I paid--total of $51.00.
