On 8 May 2025 my husband and I took a bus (239) (ICG239) from Cape Town to Midrand via Bloemfontein. We have been traveling with Intercape for many years to various destinations. Unfortunately our favorite bus service is no longer what it used to be and the service has been declining the last 5 years. The heater, when on, is extremely hot and the heat unbearable. When we try to speak to the bus driver about it he ignored us and walked away. The staff have become rude and impatient. We will never again make use of intercape and have warned our friends and family to also not use intercape anymore and we are a large number of people who have regularly traveled with intercape.

Recommendation: Intercape does not care about its customers and avoid a bad experience by not making use of them for your travel needs.
