My server Pilar was extremely rude since the beginning. She got our order for the drinks then i was going to order my food. She completely ignored me. Then rudely said. Drinks only. I asked for water no ice for my son 3years old. As we ordered the food she was in a complete rush. I understand that but being rude wont make anyone faster. 5min passed She delivered the drinks then stated she would bring my sons water out in a moment. I waited aprox 25 min. Nothing. My son was desperate for water. The food came out i told the food runner of my need for my sons water he stated hed tell the server, im sure he didnt., but she didn't come to our table to even ask if the food was okay or if we wanted refills. I still needed my sons water and now an extra plate. I was very upset by then I had to get up and nearly walked in the kitchen to ask for water and a plate. Thats litterly all i needed . She could have done it in less then 5min. Instead she ruined my experience. A nice man, a host, got the water and plate for me. The server decided to check on us when we were done with our food and ready to leave asking if we needed refills. So upsetting. I asked for the check and we all left the table. I asked to speak to the manager Octavio and he didnt come out to speak with me. This is absurd. Now im contacting corporate because this experince was definitely upsetting and i wont be returning to ihop again. And of course ill be leaving a bad yelp review aswell.

My co-worker and I decided to stop into I-Hop for breakfast on 4/18/2018 at the 10301 Evergreen Way, Everett WA 98204 Invoice # 7183. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette with no toast or hash browns with a side of bacon and a cup of coffee and my bill without tip came to $20.26. I happen to own stock in Dine Equity and wanted to see how I-Hop has been doing as I know Apple bees is trying to make a comeback and I-Hop has been the bright spot. I think the price for breakfast was outrageous and without telling my coworker that I was dissapointed in the price point he complained that his bill was too high, we then got into a discussion about it and the stock. I am not asking for any discount but I can tell you $20.26 and I left a $4.00 tip is way too much for a bacon and cheese omelette (no hash browns or toast) cup of coffee, and a side of bacon. I am concerned based on my experience and that of others I have spoken with that I-Hop is considering itself a high end breakfast establishment and may lose revenue based on outrageous price points. I will be sending a copy of my receipt with notes to Dine Equity as I fear loss of stock price. I also noticed only a few patrons and it was just past 7AM local time. I-Hop is not the only game in town and I can assure you our experience at a local Denny's was much better and had a much better price point, my co-worker stated next time we will hit the Denny's as he was disappointing. I hope this helps I-Hop leadership consider price points and targeted customers.

I was an ihop employee from december 22nd, 2016 to march 7th 2018. I worked at the ihop on Grand junction blvd in mesquite off of military and scyene, and i was fired the general manager Nicki. I was fired for not showing up on national pancake day, which i was for one not aware the exact date of national pancake day because i worked night shift and they told us nothing normally, not only that i normally worked 10 pm to 6 am and at that time pancake day is over so i was told by a different manager prior that i probably wouldnt have to come because it was my off day and if i came at my time i normally would pancake day is already over. They adjusted the sceduale and added me on it for pancake day but did so on a day i was off so when i came back in the next day i was scedualed last time i looked at the sceduale i was fired for not being there when nobody let me know called or told me sceduale was changed while i was off . I am now struggling to pay bills and take care of myself and my family because im unemployed i would like the issue to be resolved to where i can have my job back because i feel i was wrongfully fired i also feel they should look into the managment of that store the owners dan and sandra that were there for years had a great store going that ran like a family since alex the new owner took over they have ran off many workers and torn the store apart but i need a job and would atleast like to not be fired for a undeserving reason

I was eating in and I notice my sever talking to her mgr, they were standing near us, my sever ask nicely if she could step outside to get fresh air, that her only table just got her food n everything will b ok for a couple of mins, the only table she was talking about was my table, the mgr yelled no, then the sever said she had been there for 6 n half hrs n never took a break, n that y did she let everyone else go outside n not her, then the mgr got so mad, face red and all, yelled like a animal at the server, so no, no noooo, the server then said ok but it wasn't fair, then yelled so load just go ur going to act like a 3 yr old n keep asking me, just go, so the mgr walked away, then the server came to check on me, n I told her everything was ok, u can tell the server feelings were so hurt, I felt so bad for sever to the point I don't want to go there if this is how ur management treat ur workers, no one should ever b spoke to like this, my money will not pay for this person salary. I go to that IHOP at least 3 or 4 times a week, I do my interviews for my business there. My server name was brandy and the mgr name was Heather I asked the hostess what name was because I didn't want to make this server any hurt then she was. This server was the best on there since I started coming there, very sweet, pleasant and helpful with some questions I wanted to know about the food I wanted to answer, for my server to talk so highly of IHOP n for this Heather lady talk to her this way u can tell this wasn't the first time she talk her this way or any other employee cuz it was so naturally easy for her

We as a family came to have some dinner on April the 8th 2018 at around 8:30pm. The address to this IHOP is 4765 Calle Real

We put in our order and noticed after some time waiting that people around us were getting their orders sooner even though they had gotten there after us. My wife decided to go ask after a 40 min wait. Not once in that 40 min time frame did the waiter bother to check on us, or notice why we had not gotten our food. It was not busy at all. My wife decided to go and ask the manager working at the counter what was happening. The manager looks at the waiter, who then mentiones that he forgot to put in our order. My wife was like what? The waiter and the manager seriously acted like oh well, you don't like it leave attitude. And we did just that. I picked my crying 3 year old daughter that had her heart set on some macaroni and cheese, and walked out. Again errors happen I get it. But the attitude of the manager and waiter to imply that it was no big deal, and you can leave attitude is what made a family that has been going to IHOP for years decide to never ever go to IHOP again. Every chance I get I will definitely tell my story about this restaurant's service.

1. Ordered 2 blueberry pancakes got 4
2. They put sugar on my pancakes and I'm a diabetic after telling her no sugar
3. The food took 45 minutes to get to us even though they were not busy and by the time Everything got there the food was cold especially the strawberries since they were frozen solid
5.Bill was $34 and the service sucked. Very disappointed.

On April 14th, I went to IHOP in Lumberton, NC at 9:00 pm. The waitress took our drink order and brought our sweet teas. She took our food orders and left. After one sip of tea, we realized the tea was bad. It was old tea. The waitress never returned to check on us until the food was ready. When she brought the food, we asked for fresh tea. The waitress advised she would have to make more . We settled for Pepsi until the fresh tea was ready. The waitress never returned for any refills etc. Once she returned it was to bring us a bill for food and drink . I asked for a to go tea to take with me. The waitress brought me a to go cup to take with me. When I got in my truck to leave, I took a sip of my to go tea to realize that my tea was the same old sour tea. To add salt to the wound, the waitress had kept my receipt and friends receipt that had the info to leave a survey. I only had the receipt that convienetely didn't have the survey info. I will never return to Lumberton NC IHOP and will gladly spread the word of the sorry service we received

I ordered food from the IHOP location at 795 Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL. I ordered my food through Uber eats. When I received my order, I was missing my 2 kid's meals. I drove to the location to get the missing portions of my order, at approximately 8pm. The female employee that I spoke to was very rude, did not apologize for the error, and deliberately delayed the preparation of my food. The cook approached me in a very hostile manner, and proceeded to yell and curse at me. The situation was so bad that I felt the need to ask for my husband, who had been waiting in the car, to come inside. The remainder of the visit was uncomfortable and inhospitable. Eventually, I was given my food, minus some strawberries that were supposed to be with the pancakes. The female employee did her best to ensure that order was still NOT correct. This location should be SHUT DOWN. None of this was acceptable.
very poor management
I have worked in the food service industry for 40 years. Over 30 years in management and this restaurant is the worst that I have ever worked for. I've been here for 5 years and seen 7 different GM's 4 of which were terminated for stealing, favoritism, inappropriate behavior with employees, incompetence, misuse of company time, having boyfriends do bank deposits, to name a few recently I had an injury I broke my tailbone after being out of work for seven weeks upon returning I've been treated disrespectfully my hours cut shift changed I have work the same shift for five years because of other responsibilities on the days that I was off and it was never a problem I feel I am being picked on because I was injured I've tried to speak to the GM the DM and the RM getting no response from any of them. Upon coming back my first week I work four nights two of those nights had no busboy combo all 4 nights had no cashier there was only one cook and two servers and the general manager was not in the least concerned business is slow there's no reason to have two servers and no hostess when only one of the two can take cash. So when the person that can take cash goes on break they are constantly call back from break to cash out customers causing them to punch in and out interfering in their Breaktime. Managers do not communicate so they are never on the same page none of them knowing what the other one is doing. Employees are not properly trained there just thrown out there and do not know what to do and yet you expect great customer service this company is a joke. In 2014 because of the incompetence of the dishwasher mopping the floor with the greasy mop I slipped fell straight into a stainless steel counter cracking open the bridge of my nose causing damage to my neck and leaving a scar and which still I have spasms I've never complained yet now I'm seeking an attorney.

I work evenings 10pm to 10am and constantly grab breakfast on the way home from work. To save time I call ahead and place a pickup order.
Unfortunately this Ihop happens to be the closest to where I live and the management is by far some of the worst restaurant management I have witnessed.
I used to be a server for Moxies, and some family run places and have worked in the restaurant industry for 6 years.
This IHOP is notorious for forgetting crucial items in my pickup like syrup ( Yes. An International House Of Pancakes Forgets Syrup, That is like serving a big mac without a pattie)
And today I was put on hold for a few minutes to have someone come back and tell me they wont be taking orders over the phone. I asked her why that would be since it takes 30 seconds to write down an order and the time we are taking discussing the matter I could have already have told her. She explained it wasnt her job.
So since when is it not your job to serve the customer in the service industry?
I have spoken to the management here in the past and they have given me attitude bringing up concerns like being shorted items of my order, and they know me on the phone and sarcastically tell me they will remember to put syrup in ( I certainly hope so since its a pancake house)
I am really not asking a hell of a whole lot..
But a district manager really needs to come and pay attention to this location because it is dreadful.

I just left IHOP. I went to the IHOP in Stockbridge Georgia and my experience started great, our server Jessica greeted us and took our drink order. She allowed us A few minutes to look over the menu before placing our food order. A few more tables had come in about 10/15mins later after placing our order and sat with another server. After noticing that the other tables had started receiving their food(after about 20 mins later), we sat for another 5/10 mins before getting up to leave. We had not been checked on and proceeded to approach the manager who once the situation had been Explained to, did or said nothing to accommodate us in anyway. No apologies or anything. Totally unacceptable. As we were walking out, the manager stated your food is ready. Not sure why customer service seems the worse in the evening or night but IHOP should definitely do more to ensure that the same service you would get in the AM would be the same throughout the entire day. The manager and employee should be reprimanded.

Myself and my daughter went to IHOP 3288. Located on 6519 FM 78. SA TX. Not many customers. 2 waitresses and 1 manager. It took a long period of time for the waitress to arrive. She stated that she didn't know that she had this table. She took our drink order and again didn't return in a timely manner. Finally she brought our drinks. She then proceeded to take our food order. When the food arrive it was missed part of the order. It took her awhile again before she arrived. Not many customer. Not understanding why she is not returning to the table. We informed her of the food error and she stated that we could redo your order. Informed her to just bring what was missing. International pancakes were missing the mouse. It took a while for her to bring the mouse. She never returned to the table with the our bill. I had to go to the register to get a container. Never received a bill at the table. The other waitress went to the register and we then paid our bill. I never received an itemized list of what we eat. Just the total. I was very disappointed in the service we received.

The service there is bad I have been there twice this week it takes them almost 20 mins to wait on you after they sit you down me and my husband walked in at 9:40 sat down she was coming back and never did we left at 10:30 meet the manager going out and told him he didn't even try too talk us in to staying. They was so busy playing some guy walking in the back with his pants down his butt eating and on the phone. They are none profession everyone in the store day and night needs to be fired thank you

The store on 20100 E valley view in independence NO had very rude and disrespectful employees and managers.outside of our waitress which was pretty much left to work by herself ...we arrived at 315 pm ...no one even acknowledges us even though they saw us for about 10 minutes...then took about 15 min to even order because the poor waitress was the only one working and everyone else including the manager was walking around...the seat behind us asked them what was taking so long and the manager tells them what am so you want me to do I'm only one person...now mind you now it's been an hour that we have been sitting there and no food yet but our waitress keep a apologizing ...the food finally comes and we are missing one of our children's meals and half of mine...my friend eggs were suppose to be overeasy but look like snot and to top it off it was cold...my friend did say this is ridiculous and the manager comes to the table and tells us to watch our mouth...my response is where is the rest of the food ...manager looks at me as if I was bothering her to ask ...mind you now it has been 1 and a half...i finally exploded and said maybe you need to watch your employees because they are all high ...she did not respond just looked at me then she said what does that mean ... I said exactly what I said ...we have been here for an hour and a half and you want to treat me like I'm asking to much for you to do you job ...we got up and left without touching 90% of the food

Never again eating at ihop.. Didn't even eat smh. Took us 2 1/2 hrs to get our food & it was extremely cold when we got it. My kids orderd strawberry pancakes the waitress said we got pick another fruit topping because the strawberries weren't thawed 😡 4 tables of people got up & walked out cuz either they was taking toooo long or there food was cold. Didn't even get our silverware or the waitress didn't come to see if we needed refills.. Worst service ever. We didn't even pay for a tip or paid our food.. Such ridiculous. Rate over
The service is really bad it took them 1 hour to serve us. Some people left cuz the food was cold. We came in 11:50 am and its 12:59pm still no food. We will like to know what can do about this issue I took my kids to eat breakfast and it's already 1:00 PM. This is ridiculous & I'm not a happy customer.

Myself and a friend went to your location at Pulaski Hwy in Rosedale, Md. A table for 5 was sat just before us. After we were seated, I noticed that the party of 5 was already eating and we were waiting for coffee. Eventually, the party finished and paid, the table was bussed and we were still waiting for food. Just wanted to let you know (as if you care about customers, not investors) that you have lost a customer. I will drive the extra 3 miles to go to Denny's. And please, don't waste my time with a coupon for a restaurant I WON'T frequent.

I am complaining about the IHOP at 5025 Lapalco Blvd. Marrero, LA. My family and I went there on Sunday the 8 of April around 10:00a.m. The service was horrible we waited almost 45 minutes for our food. The cooks in the back were cussing, fussing with the waitress even shouting back at the manager. You can tell he was scared of them because he had no authority over them or the situation. My wife and daughter had to hear this foolishness all the time We were sitting at our table. I told them I was allergic to mushrooms my omelette was fill with them. The manager did not take control of the situation at all. Waitress crying because of the cooks mess ups. PLEASE look into this matter. I will never bring my family back there to that location ever. I went to ihop on brainerd rd in chattanooga tn after driving an hour just to eat there. I saw my waitress only once. And our food was cold and not the full order. The cook who brought out my food was very rude. I had to request a straw. And they complained when i asked them to remake my eggs. I was unable to get a refill even after i waited over 45 mins for cold food. They weren't even busy at all. This is one of the worst food experiences ive ever had. And i am a manager at a restaurant. I took my family out to ihop for dinner because kids eat free on friday night. We have been doing this somewhat regularly for the past several years. When my wife goes to pay the bill they refused to deduct the kids meals. I go to ask why and was told that kids eat free on tuesday now. I explained to the managers that we had been coming on tuesdays but the last tuesday was told that it was om fridays now. The managers dismissed this and said well now it is on tuesdays again. I said how are people supposed to know that. I was told that they change free kids night quarterly and if I wanted to know when it was I could look it up on the ihop web site. I learned that it is the policy of ihop to not advertise or let people know when kids eat free. However. They will tell you if you ask them. If they don't want kids to eat free that is fine but to play these [censor]ic games is utterly ridiculous. So I wont be going to ihop again. I am pasting and coping this fyi/psa to send to the nice people at ihop headquarters. Sho please be good to each other and. Remember friends don't let friends with children eat at ihop. My daughter, Haley Snodgrass, works at the Moore, OK location. Employees were paid last Friday but to date, she has not received her pay.
Two of her supervisors directed her to contact the bank and state it's a bank issue. We have contacted the bank and they show no attempts from IHOP to make a direct deposit. Haley was told by her supervisors they can not verify her checking and/or routing number that IHOP has on file but state they know the numbers are correct. I also have online banking so I can check her account at anytime.
This needs to be elevated as the Moore, OK location is incapable of resolving this issue.
