1- we were approached by a royal solaris representative who said we would get $1200 cash equivalent each year for 3 years for air, hotel, car rentals, etc. After we paid, ice told us "sorry, will not cover air, car rentals, etc., only covers hotels and resorts; however, they also expire within a year.
2- I had a call saying that if I pay my membership in full - instead of installments - i'll get 7 days grand mayan riviera for free. When I tried to book, they said I either have to pay more or settle with nuevo vallarta.
3- when I was offered premium membership, they offered one week free resort certificate and 4 days cruise. As soon as I got the resort, they disabled my cruise. Every time I call, they say"sorry, we will fix it for you." — it's been a year now and it's still not fixed after at least 6-7 calls.
4- their prices for flights are one of the highest you can find online. Don't believe their price promises.
The person responsible for my account at ice is michael eaton. Every time I call he is as useful as a call transfer button.
Bunch of thieves!
dreadful service
JUST DON'T! I have never in all my days and all my travel experiences had such awful service. If you are just going on a short cheap cruise, perhaps, but even if you have to pay more for any cruise of any importance run to either the cruise line or a travel agent. As an ex travel professional, if I had treated clients this badly, I would not have had any future business. A 30 day cruise on Oceania has turned into a nightmare. By the way I found out today, they don't really represent Oceania... Nice to find out a month out. Also you do not have "an agent". You have whoever picks up the phone. With my background, I was able to do just about everything involved...good thing...any help I requested was met with..."we don't do that...not even a hotel booking. It is almost impossible to get an agent to call you back, therefore you better be up on all the things you need. Visas, shots, they don't have a clue. Asked about final documents and was told they came in an email..Oceania sends out a wonderful booklet, which is extremely important...good thing found out shots required. I think perhaps if you pay a few more grand to ICE, it might make a difference. Before I found out, I was old fashioned in expecting someone to care, I had gone through 4 agents...they just kept disappearing. I WILL NEVER BOOK ANTHING WITH THIS OUTFIT AGAIN...

no value
This program is a joke! From the time share @ The Reef in Mexico, to the ICE Reward program. Don't do it. They just take your money on the onset, and you get no value. You call a customer service line, and they have limited availability, and they book everything piece meal. Pricing to go to Cancun Mexico would cost about $1700 just for the room! Not even including flight! The trip advisor reviews on the locations they recommend aren't great either. Usually a 3 star or 4 star if you are lucky! Cheaper to book online as one complete package. If I can help 1 person not waste their money, then that's good enough for me!

misrepresentation
Offered a free cruise, $1200. 00 cash credit for depositing my westgate resort week and offered free 1 week resort stay. Already had a 15 year membership that i never used and they offered me the above for an additional $1500. 00 well i was told that the week i deposited was deposited too late and that i would have to deposit the following years week to get my $1, 000. 00 cash credit. Then the free cruise cost me $1685. 00 and the free resort isn't free you have to end up paying an additional $1200. 00 for the week and it is at a low end resort! I do not see myself using this company in the future as the savings ends up only being $300. 00 per cruise so big mistake if you aren't part of this organization stay clear don"t do it

Paid $2700 for cruise did not receive anything
November 16th 2023. Went to use my points to book a stay. Told points expire if not used in 10 years. I have booked stays before never told that these points would expire. I have had membership since 2009. No problems till last 3-4 years. Very disappointed in a company I used to trust.
She is very bad at her job, avoid her at all costs
She will rip you off
She lies to clients to get what she wants to sell
I don't trust ICE at all to book anything
This was the biggest ripoff and waist of hours of my time. Whennim call they try to up sell you and won't ever let you off the phone then they completely screw you out of anything they can.beware of this entire company
No savings at all! Basically I would call this company a scam...going to report it to bbb!
Wow! These negative reviews are really something! I have used ICE for over 10 years and have never had an issue! One time they even went above and beyond after I had booked my cruise with them. After I had booked, I looked at Holland America’s website a couple of days later and found out that the cruise I booked was cheaper thru Holland’s website. I immediately called ICE and asked about their guarantee to beat all other prices. After explaining what I found, the agent put me on hold and called Holland. I don’t know what they discussed, but when the agent came back on the line he was able to credit me almost $800.00! That beat Holland America’s price by a full three hundred dollars! I will always use ICE to make my vacation plans. I think they are a great company!

Then why are you on a complaints board? People that have great experiences don't take to the internet to see if others have been scammed if they weren't scammed themselves. Ridiculous.

We own a timeshare in Club Royal Solaris for almost 8 years. At first, we've expected much more for our membership. I thought that it's below average hotel, amenities, food and service. So, we used other deals through Travelocity and Expedia just to explore hotels around and be there, we people recommended us to go. We 've been at many large and luxury hotels. Now we value our timeshare in Royal Solaris (Cabo) above all.
It's a medium size, well organized, great in services and quality of food, well organized fun and entertainment resort. The atmosphere there is very friendly, After comparing it to large and expensive places, It' the best deal for the money! Now we have been using it each time we go on vacations, and I truly feel comfortable in good hands of Royal Solaris! Everyone who stays there becomes friends, because they feel welcomed therefrom the first step to the lobby. The service, drinks and restaurants are outstanding with the membership, even though this hotel is not a 5 star hotel, but with a timeshare we pay a discounted rate for a tasty, all-inclusive food for 30 years, and we can go there any time without awaiting for a special deal, town by Expedia or Travelocity.
After 8 years of ownership we started appreciating it more and more. My timeshare has been paid-off on the first day of purchasing, and now it pays back with its great deals, Of course, you have to know what's worth the money: the high and prime time of your week usage, amount of weeks, maintenance fees or none, and the room accommodation. It's up to you what you can negotiate with the sales people. We changed weeks and purchased vacations on majority of well known places in Cancun, Rivera Maya and Cabo, butI am sure now: Royal Solaris worth every penny we paid for it. No one can surprise us with reach looking hotel entrances, like some massive marble columns or white curtains on your balcony, but when it becomes boring and meaningless of spending much more money on the magnificent looking lobby, We started valuing our Royal Solaris experience and fun we have had there. Next year we are going there again!
