On April 30, 2025, I contacted HughesNet because my Internet stopped functioning. I made several arduous contacts with customer service. It was difficult to understand the speech of the agents and they did not have the knowledge to handle the situation. After several phone calls and a lot of my time, I was told that I needed a service visit, which is what I asked for when I made my first contact. I was then told I had to wait a month for a visit, when I had been told when I signed up with HughesNet that service would only be 2-3 days. I was sent a text message confirming the appointment for May 22. I was also given a telephone number to contact the Northwest Installation in Idaho., I left message after message, and no one returned my calls. Your customer service agents said there was nothing else they could do. I run a business out of my home that suffered immeasurably without internet for all this time. Then on May 22, I cancelled my evening clients as I waited for the service rep. He never showed up and I didn't receive any message. This is the worst service I have ever received from a major corporation.
Desired outcome: I want a company representative, not customer service, to call me at [protected]. If I do not hear from anyone, I will make do everything i can in my small community to dissuade people from signing up with HugheNet.
