I purchased 17 large custom windows from Home Depot (Anderson Windows) for installation also by Home Depot. The salesperson arrived, was very helpful, we settled on the cost and the material. I had some concerns that there would be a small area of untreated unpainted wood remaining around every window and asked how this could be remedied. The salesperson explained to me that when the install team came, I could tell them, and they had a special plastic material wrap that could be inserted so that I would not have to calk and paint every window in my home. I agreed that that would be a good option, I paid the initial 1/3 up front. The install day came, they arrived a day early which was good. I asked about the wrap, and they stated that they did not know what I was talking about and did not provide that service. The installers did their job, the calk looks really bad, but I did not complain about that. I wrote a personal check for the remaining 20K. The project manager that was supposed to do the walk through never came, I contacted him, and he did finally arrive a the next couple of days, I explained to him my concerns which included the raw wood around all the windows and three torn screens, and he explained to me that I should have contacted my project liaison but that he would see what he could do, he offered me a 500$ gift certificate to Home Depot and said that he would come out personally to finish the job, order new screens and paint the windows. I agreed to this and never heard from him again. I contacted Home Depot support and they said that they could not help (this is a month later), I contacted project manager Ted and he agreed to come out but was on vacation (now we are two months out), he did finally come and walked through the house, listened to my concerns and told me that he would inquire about a resolution. He also explained to me that the original project manager "CJ" often made promises to keep people happy but did not have the authority to follow through with them. This explains why CJ did not return my inquiries for three months. I contacted Ted again after two weeks of hearing nothing from CJ, Ted never answered me except to say that the screens were ordered. I paid for the job in full on May31st, we are now August 19th and I have yet to hear of a resolution. This is a lot of money, I just would like to fish this job, put my house back together and move on. So disappointed in Home Depot.

Desired outcome: finish the job you started or cut 2000$ off of the cost so that I can have a professional come finish it.
