atlanta chimney doctor was so good! they gave us great service and we will use them again for sure.

I'm still waitin' on an appointment to get my gas fireplace installed. I've called a bunch of times to four different numbers for 'em, and even texted Chuck. But he ain't responded to my text or answered the phone. It ain't very professional when ya can't get ahold of 'em, and if I have any issues with the warranty in the future, I'm worried I won't be able to get in touch with 'em.

We never used our fireplace for 22 years, so we didn't care about it. But we saw water around the window seal near the fireplace. Atlanta Chimney Doctor came and saw rust on the chimney cap. They also saw the roof rotting because of the water running off the chimney. They replaced the chimney cap and fixed the way the water flowed on the roof. They were fast and did a good job.

They put in a liner for my chimney on 11/12 and said they'd come back on 1/22 to clean the chamber. But they didn't show up on 1/22 and when I asked why, the owner said he was sick. Then, a few weeks later, it was hard to get in touch with them and when I finally did, they promised to come back on 3/15/22. But they didn't show up on 3/15/22 and didn't answer my calls or emails. The quality of their work seems okay, but not following through on their promises makes me wonder if they'll stand behind their work if something goes wrong. It's not right to promise something and not deliver, it's dishonest. I saw on Yelp that other people have had similar experiences. Be careful if you decide to use this company.

I hired Atlanta Chimney Doctor on 10/23 to put in a chimney cap and gas logs. Chuck *** said the logs would heat up the room, but they didn't. I paid $1421 by check for the logs, but they never worked. I tried to schedule appointments with the owner, ***, but he never showed up. I asked for an onsite visit to figure out why they weren't working, but he won't give me a date. The logs have a lifetime warranty, but they're useless if they don't work.

I got a chimney fan from Atlanta Chimney Doctor, LLC (http://www.atlantachimneydoctor.com/) for my roof. They charged me more than $4000. After they finished, they gave me the electrical switch for the fan and said it would only cost $200 to install it. But I've been looking for an electrician for years and the cheapest I found was $1800. Another chimney company told me that the fan was not necessary and that I should get my money back. I've called Atlanta Chimney Doctor, LLC several times, but they just yell at me and say I'm calling the wrong electricians. They owe me $4000. I used my fireplace for the first time this year and didn't need the fan because it doesn't have electricity running to it. I don't want anyone else to go through this in the future.
