Eric's Tree Service did a really bad job. They came back after I complained and refused to fix the problem. They told us to find someone else. After that, they forgot how to speak English.

I had Eric's come out 4 times to remove trees and they've always been the cheapest, on time, thorough, and tidy. I got some huge 125-foot pines and they had no issues dealing with them. They've removed 77 trees up to now.

Eric's Tree Service did a great job removing 5 trees and trimming branches for a good price. They were careful not to damage my lawn and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely recommend them!

I had 3-4 times when I dealt with Eric's Tree Service and every time it was great. They are professional, friendly, and get the job done quickly. After they finish, everything looks neat and tidy. No one wants to have to hire a tree service, but if you do, just give Eric's a call.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. We got some big oak trees that need to come down. I called Eric's in April and it's July now and they still ain't done the work. When I call, they say they gonna come on a certain day but then they don't show up. That's what happened yesterday, last night there was a storm and - a tree fell through the roof of my house.

From the first phone call to when they finished the job, it was amazing! The people in the office were really helpful and offered me some finance options if I needed them. The guys who came to my place were super hardworking and really nice. It took them about 2 days to set up, take down 2 big trees, and clean everything up. They even left my yard looking nicer than before. Thanks a lot, Eric's Tree Service!

We would highly recommend Eric's Tree Service for anyone needing their services. From the start, the Customer Service people were polite and the quote was done on time, as promised. The team of three men that removed seven trees, trimmed many more, and cleaned up the yard when they finished worked together carefully and in a timely manner. They safely directed the road traffic while performing their dangerous work near the power lines. We are very pleased with Eric and his outstanding team and would definitely use them again in the future.

After confirming what I wanted done, a date to do the work was set. I wanted to be home that day as I wanted to make sure it was completed correctly. But unfortunately the day they came I had a family emergency and had to leave upon their arrival. When I arrived home at end of day they had finished. I was happy to see they everything was done in detail, they actually did some extra work as they stated it would look better. The did perfect job cleaning up! I plan on hiring them again! Best attribute, every person I dealt with only concern was giving me good service. VERY NICE PEOPLE.

Eric's Tree Service has restored our faith in contractors. They are a top-notch business that provides exceptional, impeccable and professional service in an era when many contractors can't. We called two other tree removal services. One was booked out almost a month for even an estimate. Another said they would call us back in two months. Then we called Eric. He came out the next day and wrote an estimate that same day. The job involved removal of 8 large trees that were crowding our roof. The operation was delicate and Eric's crew executed it impeccably. What couldn't be removed from a bucket truck was completed expertly by climbing. Ten days from our initial phone call the job was finished. Wow! We are so grateful.

I thought the price was kinda high at first, but when they showed up with their fancy crane, chipper, and two trucks for debris, plus 7 guys, I could see why they were worth the money. They worked nonstop for 3 hours to take down this huge oak tree with a 3ft wide trunk. They cut off the big branches and lifted them over our house onto the road. Then they dropped the main trunk and cut it into pieces to move it to the front yard. They did all this in light rain and snow. Each person had a specific job and they all worked fast to cut the branches into smaller pieces for the chipper. They cleared the road quickly every time they took off a big branch. What really impressed me was how they kept cleaning up the yard and road as they went along, instead of waiting until the end. The workers we talked to were all really nice. In the end, I was super impressed with how professional the crew was and I think the price was worth it. Plus, there was always someone in the office to answer the phone, even before and after the job, which is more than I can say for other tree services I tried to call. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Eric's Tree Service.

I'm really happy with the tree service that Eric's Tree Service 249 Route 87 Columbia, CT [protected] gave me. I got a quote from them after looking on *** for recommendations and reviews. The first tree company I called was in a hurry to get off the phone. The second tree company, which was Eric's Tree Service in Columbia, CT, didn't rush me. Eric's Tree Service has great customer service. I spoke with Daryl, who was really polite, patient, and took the time to explain paperwork without me asking. She explained everything in detail and told me what I should ask contractors. She could tell that I had never contacted a contractor before. At that moment, I knew I was going with Eric's Tree Service. Daryl suggested getting other quotes, but I said no because I liked the customer service she provided. Daryl even made a special trip to our home to look at the tree being removed. Later that evening, she called and said the crew could come earlier the next day and told me what time they would arrive. The crew arrived on time and they were very professional and nice. The supervisor kept me updated on what they were doing. During lunch, they practiced social distancing by sitting in their vehicles. The supervisor showed me the finished work and asked if I was happy with it. I told him absolutely. I will call them again to have more trees taken down. He showed me which tree he recommends next and also showed me a tree that had rotted out and needs to come down. I agreed with him and told him they will be doing the work again for us. The work was done quickly and the clean-up was great. A couple of days later, after power was restored, I received a follow-up call from Eric's Tree Service and I told them my opinion of a job well done and the crew being very professional. And Daryl, great customer service. Both quotes were the same price. Because of the great customer service, I chose the best tree service - Eric's Tree Service. Thank you.

Eric’s crew removed 18 trees for us and cleaned up extremely well when they were done! We chose Eric because he came after we had an estimate from another company and Eric was less for more work! I had heard he was very expensive but he did more than the other guy for less - and did a great job! My highest recommendation

We were very happy with the work that Eric's Tree Service did in removing 3 trees. They came when they said they would, they worked with us on scheduling and they were fair in their pricing. The workers were responsive ad accommodating. We asked them to be careful about limbs on a nearby tree that we wanted to maintain and they were careful.

We called this company to take out some tree stumps more than a month ago. We waited and called them many times to ask when they would do the job. The owner, Eric, and his son gave us a bunch of excuses for not being able to give us a time for the work. Then they wanted a deposit. We gave them the deposit and again they gave us the runaround about when they would do the job. The last time I called, the owner was confrontational and not professional. Now we got our lawyer involved and we're still trying to get our deposit back. It's been weeks since we gave it to him and a week since we asked for it back and to cancel the work. Nothing. No refund and they keep giving us excuses.

I called Eric's Tree Service on June 24. The job was supposed to happen on July 28. I gave them some money upfront and we signed a contract saying they would remove two trees and all the wood and junk, like broken branches, within four weeks. I don't want to get into all the back-and-forth we had on the phone and through texts over the past six months. Instead of four weeks, they finally scheduled the work for September 20, which was seven weeks later. On the day of the job, they called and canceled without giving me a new date. The last text I sent was on December 18, and I still haven't heard back. I have a problem with Eric's Tree Service because they made a promise and signed a contract. If they're not going to keep their word, they should give me back my money and cancel the contract. I attached the contract for proof.

I signed a contract with Eric's Tree Service on March 30th to take out 6 trees, grind 4 stumps, and prune 4 trees. I gave them $500 upfront from the total quote of $7,976.25. They said they would start in about 4 weeks. On May 12th, I emailed them for an update. They replied that they would check with Eric. On May 14th, I asked again for an update, but got no response. Finally, on May 17th, they said the GM was out due to a medical emergency and I would be added to the list. On May 25th, I asked for an update once more, but got no response. So, on June 7th, I called the company. Jan answered and said she would talk to Eric. She called me back and said I would be scheduled for the week of June 14th and would get a call at the start of the week with the exact date. But now it's June 17th and still no call or scheduled date for the work I contracted. It seems like they don't want my business. If that's the case, I want a full refund of my deposit.
