False Advertising and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Harry's Subscription
So, I was checkin' out Harry's website and they had this deal where you pay $15.00 and they give you a 10% discount on all your orders for a whole year. I was like, "heck yeah, sign me up!" 'Cause I knew I'd save more than $15.00 in a year with all the shavin' stuff I buy. But then, when I got my first order, they only gave me a 4% discount. I was like, "what the heck, Harry's? That ain't what you promised me!" So, I contacted 'em and they said they'd fix it and give me a little somethin' for my troubles. But, guess what? They never did!
I was so mad, I asked 'em to close my account and delete my info. But, then they go and send me an email sayin' they're gonna automatically renew my membership. Like, what part of "close my account" don't they understand? So, I talked to this girl and she was tryin' to tell me that $.60 was 10% of $15.00. I mean, come on, Harry's! That's just plain wrong.
I gotta say, these people are a joke. I wouldn't recommend 'em to anyone. They promise you one thing and then don't deliver. And, when you try to get it fixed, they argue with you about basic math. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else for your shavin' needs.
Decline in Quality: My Disappointing Experience with Harry's Razor and Blades
I tried Harry's a few years back and I gotta say, I was impressed. The razor was a real beaut and the blades were the best I'd ever used. But lately, I've noticed a real decline in quality. I needed a new razor so I ordered one and it just didn't feel the same. It was lighter and felt more cheaply made than my original Harry's razor. And the blades? Well, they just don't seem to last as long as they used to. They often poo off while I'm shaving and I'm lucky if I get more than a couple of shaves out of them. It's a real shame because I used to get at least a week out of them.
I can't help but wonder if Harry's has been sold to another corporation or if they've just lowered the quality to cut expenses. It's a real shame because Harry's used to be way better than Gillette. But recently, I forgot my razor while on a trip and had to pick up a Gillette at the market. And I gotta say, it was so much better than my Harry's razor. It's a real shame because I miss the old Harry's.
Harry's Products Review: Disappointing Quality and Design
I've been using Harry's products for a few months now and I have to say, the delivery has been pretty good. However, I have to admit that the product itself is not as good as my trusty Gillette products. The blades just don't give me as close of a shave and they definitely don't last as long. I've also noticed that the trimmer blade is a complete liability. Whenever I try to shave the tricky area below my nose, I end up cutting myself several times. It's just not safe.
On top of that, the shavers aren't very well designed. They're awkward to grip when they're wet, which is a problem for anyone who doesn't have tiny Trump-like hands. I mean, who wants to risk dropping their razor in the shower? Not me, that's for sure.
I know that Harry's products are supposed to be a cost-saving alternative to other brands, but in reality, there's no saving at all. The products just don't last as long, so you end up having to buy more of them more often. It's a shame, really, because I had high hopes for Harry's. But unfortunately, they just don't measure up to the competition.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Harry's products. Stick with Gillette or another trusted brand if you want a close, safe shave.

Disappointing Razor Experience: Harry's Razor Review
I was on the hunt for a good razor and stumbled upon Harry's website. I was a bit disappointed to find out that there was no Google review option available, only a poll by the company itself. I mean, come on, who trusts a company to give themselves an unbiased review? But I decided to give it a shot and signed up for their program.
Unfortunately, the razor was not up to par. It was so dull that it tugged on my skin, making it a painful experience. I tried giving it three passes but it just wasn't working for me. I ended up going back to my trusty two-week-old Gillette Mach 3 and it worked like a charm. The Harry's razor is also quite big, which made me wonder how anyone could shave their mustache area with it.
I decided to cancel my subscription with Harry's and never heard back from them asking why. I think it's important for a company to reach out and ask for feedback when a customer cancels a refill subscription. It's the only way to improve and make the product perfect. Don't just claim that you have a great product, have actual statistics to back it up.
Overall, I was disappointed with Harry's razor and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stick with the tried and true brands like Gillette.
Disappointing Razor from Harry's: Stiff Pivot Makes Shaving a Pain
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the razor from Harry's. It just didn't work right, you know? The thing is, the plastic that's supposed to let the razor head move around is way too stiff. So when you're trying to shave, you gotta push down super hard to get the razor to actually touch your skin. It's a real pain in the butt, let me tell you.
Now, Harry's customer service folks got back to me when I reached out to them. But honestly, their response wasn't all that helpful. They basically just told me to practice using the razor more, which seems kinda ridiculous to me. I mean, come on, who wants to spend all that time trying to figure out how to use a razor properly?
If Harry's really wants to fix this problem, they need to make some changes to the design. Maybe they could use a softer plastic for the pivot, or make the pivot point thinner so it moves more easily. I don't know, I'm not a razor engineer or anything. But I do know that if they made those changes, I'd be willing to give their razor another shot. So Harry's, if you're reading this, let me know if you make any changes, okay?
Harry's Razor Review: Quality Issues Need to Be Addressed
Been using Harry's for about a year now and I gotta say, I was a big fan at first. But lately, I've noticed a dip in the quality of their products. Like another reviewer said, the blades just don't seem to give me that same close shave as they used to. And the handle? It's just not as sturdy as it used to be. Sometimes, I can't even get a new cartridge out of the case without having to do it by hand. And I think that weaker connection is affecting the shave quality too. It's like the cartridge is moving around too much during use.
Now, don't get me wrong. I really want Harry's to succeed. Their business model is awesome and I'm rooting for them. But they gotta get on top of these quality issues. I know they can do it!
Harry's Razors: A Marketing Trick or a Quality Product?
So, I was thinking about giving Harry's razors another try after buying a set a few months ago and almost running out. I thought that after so many complaints, Harry would have fixed the auto-break installed in the razor head and started making sharp razors instead of the chainsaws I got.
Luckily for me, Harry decided to pull one of the oldest marketing tricks since P. T. Barnum started his circus...
They advertised a set of 8 for $16.00 with a $5.00 off coupon. At checkout, the payment showed $16.00 before applying the coupon. When I entered the coupon code, instead of the price decreasing to $11.00, it went up to $21.00 and then back down to $16.00. That sneaky move took the cake for me.
Bottom Line: Stay away from Harry's Razors. There's a reason why they're cheaper than Gillette. The same reason why you can get Hoverboards and Galaxy 7's at firestorm prices nowadays.
Mixed feelings about new razor blades with trimmer addition
The new blades with the trimmer addition are not as good as the original blades. I mean, the trimmer is pretty useless, but it adds a high level of danger. When I'm saving in the shower, I have been cut numerous times by the trimmer blade when the razor slipped. It's like a nightmare, you know? But the newer grip handles help a bit. Also, not in the shower, when I'm shaving on the upstroke, the blade springs back and makes it easy to slice open your chin with the trimmer blade on the return stroke. It's like, what the heck, man? Either I have learned to live with it (by shaving more slowly) or they tweaked the trimmer angle since the original release. Still, it's a good deal and the scheduled deliver takes the hassle out of remembering to buy blades. They also last longer than they say, since they want you to replace them every week, so it is easy to build up a surplus. I would, and have, recommended them to friends and family.
Oh, and let me tell you about their customer service. When I called about the trimmer design, they simply cancelled my order - terrible response. I had to set up a new order. A smart company would have asked for more information and not ghosted a long term client. But hey, at least they have good blades, right?
Harry's Razor Review: Lower Cost, Lower Quality - Stick with Gillette
So, I was at Target and saw that Harry's razor was on sale. I thought, "why not give it a try?" I grabbed the razor and 24 cartridges, thinking I was getting a great deal. Boy, was I wrong. I regret buying so many blades because I can't wait to go back to my trusty Gillette. Harry's just doesn't cut it for me. The cost may be lower, but the quality is also lower. I can never get a close shave with Harry's. I have to keep going over the same areas, wasting precious time, and still end up with stubble. This never happened with Gillette. The blades also become dull after just a few shaves and I have to replace them often. The grey pieces of plastic that allow the blade to pivot break easily, resulting in nasty, deep cuts. The handle itself is of subpar quality and doesn't have the weight or balance of a Gillette. The mechanism that locks the blade into the handle can and does become loose, leading to more cuts and accidents. It's really frustrating. I've even had better shaves with disposable razors, which is just sad. I feel like I fell for the marketing gimmick of two young entrepreneurs creating a better, cheaper shave product. But in reality, it's just a bad product. Stick with Gillette, folks.
I have not received my January shipment of blades
your blades shipped January 22 and it is now the 2nd of march and I have not received then yet though I have been charged
Desired outcome: An emergency shipment of the blades I have paid for
don't use their razors
Even though I used their razor just once, I am not going to do it anymore. Just because I respect myself and can afford to buy a more expensive one.
Their razor I received because I am subscribed to their service and ordered one razor to try it.
Yesterday's shaving was hard. First of all, Harry's razors are cheap. If you want to buy something similar, just go to the nearest store or mall and you will find the same quality.
Second, what I mean by bad quality is that the blades are not sharp enough and it may cause problems.
Don't subscribe to them.
Order never shipped
Ordered some blades for my husband from www.harrys.com . After I paid I was supposed to get a confirmation message or something like that, but did not receive one. Customer service rep assured me everything was fine and I'll get one later. Never happened.
I was supposed to receive my order in two days but nothing arrived. When I contacted Harry's again they promised to check what was going on. Later they said that my order was cancelled.
That moment I smelled a scam and demanded a full refund. They said ok.
So here we are two months later and I'm still waiting for my money. Harry's is not to be trusted!
Very unhappy customer
I saw a video on YouTube about Harry's. It stated that it could even be used for legs, and was really good for sensitive or dry skin. I received my order in reasonable time, the packaging looked great and I was very excited to try it. I followed all the tips and tricks that came on the pamphlet and unfortunately, the shave was extremely disappointing! The shave gel was very dry and the razor was harsh against my skin. After shaving my skin turned red and was burning. I'm very disappointed with the results and will never order from Harry's again.
Great notes. My favorite. Only lasts ~10 minutes when applied, then need to re-apply. 10oz lasted me 1.5 months. I'm disabled and hardly go out. Product does not last when applied. Bummer. Unfortunate. Does a cologne or perfume last longer than de toilette? Asking for a friend. So confusing...
I paid the $5 and was supposed to receive the razor and 5 blades. I received the razor and one blade and shaving cream that I never ordered. I want the 5 blades.
I have been using your blades for more than 2 years. In a recent purchase the blades just glided over my beard with little to no removal of beard. I am thinking the angle of the blades in this package is faulty - What do you think ? Jason
got blunt after 2 shaves and head keeps falling off
I found Harry's Sculpting hair gel at Target and thought I would give it a try. Don't. Even.Think. About It. Firm hold they call it. Walk on by. It is the consistency of Gorilla Glue, and plasters your hair firmly to your scalp. I would suggest that this be used to cap volcanoes during threatening eruption episodes. I couldn't wash the residue off my hands, and when I finally did, I had to wash my hair, again, to restore normal texture and feel. Bad product. Very bad. Off to Target for a return.
