Hardee's Restaurants review: Promised cash refund (by shift mgr., who stated that it was confirmed by her supervisor!

I went through the drivethru at Hardee’s at 2499 Augusta Rd, West Columbia SC on 10/17/26 and got home to discover the order was filled incorrectly. I called restaurant and spoke with person who identified herself as J. to whom I explained the situation. J’s response was that I could come back for corrected order, at which time I told her I preferred a refund, as I live about 15 miles away. During the call I explained situation and told her I paid cash but didn’t get a receipt. She said she was able to retrieve it and I could come by for refund. I overheard a brawl break out in the restaurant and she was holding the phone steady saying yall stop yall stop, I’m gonna call the police at which time she abruptly hung up on me. I waited a moment and dialed back, at which she answered saying, Ms Cynthia, I’ve already spoken to my supervisor and she has authorized me to refund your money ($9.00). Informed her I lived a distance and would come by today, 10/24/26; however, I went there today and her story had changed. She told me her supervisor told her to give me a free meal. I told her that I was promised a refund and that I did not feel SAFE to eat from there because I was met with a very very rude employee at the window last week, ( I mentioned the rude employee when I initially called and spoke with J.)who made it her business to deliberately spill cold soda on me after I asked her nicely to wipe it off the overfilled cup! She then handed it to me still bubbling through the lid. (She made sure to hold it totally upright trying to keep me from seeing the top)I handed it back to her and she finally poured some of the soda out, after asking me, “what you want me to do? pour some out”?
On today 10/25/26, I asked J. for a phone number to reach her supervisor. She wrote her name as Carmencita Perez at [protected]. I could not reach anyone at that number! J.’s name is Jetaun on her name tag. I am hereby also requesting a refund on ($9.00), which should be more for having to make a false trip there today, etc.
