I requested to have my meager tax refund put on a turbotax prepaid visa card, which I have done before with no problem. I got the card over the weekend and tried to activate it but couldn't. Called the number, they told me I needed to upload my state issued id to greendot.com/document upload. So, I did, three (3) times. That was monday. I checked the status today and got "we were not able to verify your documents. This card is locked and cannot be used. You will not be able to get any other cards with this bank." wtf? I asked on the turbotax community website and was told there is no way to change the direct deposit info once your return is submitted. So, now my refund will be rejected because of this [censor] and I will have to wait even longer for a paper check! Oh, did I mention I have called at least 5 phone numbers for greendot and cannot get a person? It keeps saying I have called the wrong number and tells me to call the first number I called and I can't get a person there either. This is so very inconvenient and ridiculous. I am mad to the point of tears!

i did nothing wrong and greendot decided to steal my money for no reason at all then when i did everything they told me to do and they still looked for excuses to steal my money saying that the documents was not clear and refused to send a check or another card to the owner to use technicalities as an excuse to steal and use the number one excuse people use to steal it is for your own security [protected]? now the question marks will be the excuse to steal do what you do to others but i will not give up on getting what belong to me i went to the BBB yesterday consumer affairs a month ago i gave them time to see the mistake and give me mine back now i am going to ramp the effort up until i get mine just give me my money back and i dont care about whoever else you steal from just dont steal from me

I need my acct unlocked please has been locked for a month and need to get to my money. I am 80 years old and no other way to get to my acct and no other way to get money period. Please unlock my acct as soon as possible.
