Great Expressions Dental Centers review: Unnecessary massive number of xrays only 3 months after a panoramic (or equivalent) xrays.

I had recently made the request for the second time to the dentist reg. my preference for every 2 year Xrays which is within recommendations. He reluctantly agreed after I let him know the same hygienist 6 months ago had been extremely insistent to do the Xrays after I told her he had agreed on bi-annual xrays. But just last month when I was due for annual, she brought in the office manager and the two of them badgered me the minimum they require was yearly or she won't do the cleaning. I requested to see the dentist but he never showed his face though annuals include dental exam. And I guess his word don't count for much since they said it was hygienist's call. I finally relented because I had some staining from a mouthwash I wanted removed. But this was very unpleasant and I believe inappropriate. The dental Xray recommendation is 18-24 months. And I am reasonably healthy. I dislike this hygienist's irritating and aggressive manner. I remember even on my last cleaning 6 months ago, this same hygienist aggressively pushed for elective procedures such as fluoride treatment and oral cancer screening even after I repeatedly declined. UPDATE: When I wrote this first review, I forgot that only 3 months ago in February I had a panoramic (or equivalent) xrays as the receptionist confirmed. When I spoke to the Office Manager, she says she wasn't aware and doesn't show in my records. If I were to believe that, I'd say this is a very irresponsible and inefficient dental practice.
