To us Go to Gate is very close to a scam, at least a complete rip off, with a very uncaring customer service attitude.
When booking our flights through Go to Gate everything looked good. Then less than a week before the first flight we noticed it was cancelled. We tried for three days to get an answer from Go to Gate with the same response every time,” we are working on it and have an answer soon”
At the time of check in, as there were still no tickets from Go to Gate, we had to cancel the flight ordered and buy the tickets ourselves. For this they charged us a service fee of 160€ and did not return all the money as the second leg, booked through them, was now double the price compared to ordering it straight from the carrier.
We want to warn others looking for a good deal using Go to Gate that you may end up getting nothing, just loosing your money. Go to Gate created a lot of stress and extra costs for us and then charged a service fee for that. It is a shame that there is a company making money on destroying family vacations.
