Hello,
I would like to file a complaint against an employee (Melissa) at the Goodwill Donation Xpress on 4021 Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. Roseville, Ca. 95747.
I went there today (1/12/2025)@ 2:25 PM to drop off a big donation of clothes and household items. When I got there all the parking spots in the front of the store were occupied, so I had to park in a further parking stall. There was a gentlemen waiting at the door for it to open @ 2:30 PM. I set a couple bags down behind him so I could save my spot in line, to go and grab some more of my donation bags out of my trunk. I am recovering from a hand surgery, so I am able to use ONE HAND. I never intended to just leave my donation on the ground. I had to make several trips before the store was to open in 5 minutes.
After I set my first bags down a stranger walked up behind me to tell me I couldn't just leave my bags there. I explained to the woman I would be back because I have more stuff. I walked away to get the rest of my items out of my car. When I walked back up to wait in line, the employee (Melissa) opened the door and said very rudely... you can't leave your stuff there. I said I know, I'm not. I had to make several trips to get more of my [censored]. Bad choice of words on my part... I meant stuff. It wasn't [censored], I had very nice clothing in the bags. Melissa says to me... Thanks for your [censored]! She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was in a great mood today, and she definitely ruined it.
I'm all for helping the community out by making donations, but I will definitely think twice before donating to Goodwill again if this is the kind of customer service I am going to receive.

Desired outcome: I would like to see your employee ( Melissa) receive some customer service training on how to speak to customers. She is the face and voice of Goodwill!
