Golden Corral review: Store does not print a bar code or bar code number on their receipts.

We have lived in Harlingen, Texas for the past four years. We are retired and, in the past, have loved eating at Golden Corral in all the states we have lived in. The Golden Corral in Harlingen, Texas has stopped providing their customers with receipts that have bar codes and bar codes numbers on them. I brought it to the store's attention and their answer was, "the only way you can get credit for the meal is to provide your phone app at the purchase time and they will scan it for you." The problem is we don't always remember to provide it at the purchase time. Golden Corral states online that you have 72 hours to insert the receipt information online. Hard to do when Harlingen conveniently leaves all the information off the receipt you need. If you use your credit card to get money for a tip the receipt you get comes with the bar code. I find that very interesting.
