Was shopping Park Central Crossing GameStop with my friend earlier today at the GameStop in Memorial Blvd in Port Arthur, TX; store #500. We were shopping for a new Xbox One controller and we heard that the employees were talking about a pizza party they were having. One of them asked what pizza one of the other employees wanted, that other employee said Domino's, that same employee asked a 3rd employee what they wanted. One asked if he wanted Little Ceasars, he then remarked loudly no! and said I hate those hot n readies. Then loudly proclaimed "I'm sorry those from Brooklyn or New York, but I really hate little Caesars". While he said that one of my friends pointed out that as he yelled that out, he was looking directly at me and wouldn't stop staring until he finished that sentence. My friend said it was racially profiling because he assumed because I am black, I am from Brooklyn. We were the only customers there and there was no need to yell that sentence out so loudly. The time we were there was very uncomfortable and he would talk to us to demeaning, like if we were stupid. It was all unpleasant, we just wanted to buy an Xbox One controller and leave.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology.

That was absolutely targeted – you’re not imagining it. The loud comment, the staring, the demeaning tone? Textbook. I’d file a complaint with corporate immediately and name store #500. Don’t let them normalize this garbage. You deserved a simple, respectful errand, not that humiliation.
