Hello! I’ve played Subway Surfers for a long time now and I have few ideas that I think should be considered being added into the game. Coin Rush I think that one good mode would be a Coin Rush mode. In this mode, you have have to collect as many coins as you can in a certain amount of time. There could be good power-ups to increase time and even coin count but there could also be bad power-ups. These power-ups could be either decrease the amount of time or even take some coins away. If someone were to buy double coins with money it should not function while playing this mode. All the normal power-ups could still be in along with some other power-ups like double coins or a rare power-up that turns everything for a certain distance into coins. All power-ups should be temporary. You can compare your coins to your friends and brag about how many coins you have. I think that this would also be a good online mode where you can battle against people all over the world you can play a private coin rush against your friends or offline just to practice for fun. When the time runs out the game is over. There should be leaderboards for each country and a worldwide leaderboard. All coins collected in this mode will go to your coin count. If you play offline all coins collected won’t affect your place and your amount of coins collected online on the leaderboards however you will keep all coins collected. Poison Power-Ups In this mode you don’t want to collect a single power-up. It is mostly same to the original game but you don’t want to collect any power-ups. If you do collect a power-up it will affect your overall score. The goal is to get the highest score you can without collecting power ups. If you collect one power-up the game ends. There could be another online with a leaderboard for each country and a worldwide leaderboard. You can also battle your friends and play offline for fun. This will not affect your score or place on the leaderboard and it won’t affect your high score. Board Blitz This mode is based around the use of Hover Boards. The goal is to get the highest score possible. If your hover board crashes or runs out of time the game is over. You can buy new boards or upgrade boards to increase time or buy unique power-ups for that board. This mode would have an exclusive store to buy mode exclusive hover boards. A special power-up could be collected to increase the amount of time or boost your board for a few seconds. You can play this mode online, against your friends, or offline to practice. Offline play will not affect your score or place on the leaderboard. Leaderboards There should be different leaderboards for each mode. The higher you are on the leaderboard the more coins or maybe even keys you get. You could also get mystery boxes depending on your place on the leaderboard. These are my ideas for this game. I think that it would make the game even more fun and more appealing to new players or inspire old players to play again. I think that these modes would really spice the game up. Also please allow us to access the achievements menu from the pause menu. Do what you want though it is your game and it is fun keep up the awesome work!

This game is very addicting and fun to play! It’s a genuinely fun game and doesn’t get super boring easily. It’s great for road trips and to pass the time. That being said there are definitely some improvements needed along with some suggestions I have for them. Okay, to start off I’ll talk about a gender problem with the starter character. It’s a male and some people aren’t males. You have to work and get coins to be able to unlock a female character and I do not believe that’s right. I think in the beginning of the game when you first download it there should be a screen asking for your gender, male or female. You’ll get a starter character based on your gender. Females will have a female starter character and males will have a male starter character. Another problem I have is how expensive the in-app purchases are. The cheapest price you can pay for keys is $19.99, which is WAY too overpriced. Also, there should be a lower option, like you could buy 55 coins for $10 or about 37 coins for $5. Another problem I have is with the limited time characters. For example, I have 49,344 coins and I’ve been playing for 3+ years (only on my phone, I’ve been playing for 5+ years on other devices). There is a limited time character that looks exactly like me, but she’s 95,000 coins. First of all, she’s going away soon and there is no way I will be able to earn enough to get her. The limited time characters are way too overpriced and even Subway Surfer veterans who have been playing for many years can’t afford them. The only way to be able to get them for me and many other players would be to buy the extremely expensive and overpriced in-app purchases. You might think, oh, there must be other characters that look like you that are less expensive, why not just get those? Well, that brings me to my next problem. As a girl with very dark brown eyes and hair, the least expensive character on the core team that resembles me costs 150,000 coins, AKA WAY TOO MUCH! Even that character’s skin is way too dark for me. There are literally no light-ish skinned, brown hair and eye characters except for one that you have to get by getting 500 of the same item from a mystery box! It’s ridiculous that every female character on the core team with natural-colored hair (except two and one is incredibly hard to get considering you have to get items from mystery boxes to get her) has blonde hair. And for females who’s skin is on the darker side, there is only one character (that resembles their skin tone) to choose from, that may not even have the same exact skin tone, hair color or hair style, and more. It’s just not fair to females with dark skin, they should have at least one more option, especially because there are more than one male characters who have darker skin. Also regarding males, there are 4 males with brown/black hair and only 2 females with brown/black hair on the core team. You may think I’m being petty but what I’m saying is females should have more options. I know my opinions are mostly revolving around females but that’s because I’m a female myself and that’s what I’m focusing on. Okay, I’m done. This app is really good in my opinion but definitely not perfect.

Overall, this is a wonderful game that is very fun to play. However, there are a few things that I think could make the game even better.
1) Please remove the missions that require you to purchase/use consumable items, especially keys. In many cases, the amount of coins or keys it sets you back in buying the items is much more than the value of the Super Mystery Box, which completely defeats the purpose of completing the missions. I know some missions can be skipped with ads but once that option runs out, you have no choice but to either halt your progress a full day, spend thousands of coins to skip the mission, or part ways with keys or other precious items. I would also like to see no missions that force you to wait a specific amount of time, such as “Complete 4 daily challenges” which completely halts your progress for 3-4 days unless you have 4000+ coins to spend. I love the missions that can be completed at any point in a run to make it challenging and rewarding to complete the challenges.
2) PLEASE either add more value to character tokens or just remove them entirely and make those characters unlockable with coins. Character tokens used to be mildly bearable since when you finally did unlock a character, that token would not appear again and the other items that have actual value would come up more often. However, a recent update forced us to continue to accumulate these tokens to use towards unlocking an outfit, with ANOTHER character token used to unlock Jake’s outfits. It was better to just unlock them with keys since only people who actually wanted the outfits would buy them. Now, the character tokens force you to waste HUNDREDS (or maybe thousands) of lost mystery boxes for a character you don’t even want, then even MORE to get outfits for this character. The biggest slap in the face is when these things come up in SUPER Mystery Boxes. Here are some things I would do to fix this.
1) Get rid of Character Tokens and have the characters unlockable with coins. That way, obtaining Mystery Boxes would be much more rewarding since I’m guaranteed an item I can actually use, either coins or an item.
2) Character tokens in Super Mystery Boxes zap them for almost all of their value. Character tokens should either be removed from Super Mystery Boxes entirely or they should contain stacks of 10-20 instead of 3 to increase their value.
3) Maybe there should be a great reward for finally unlocking a character that would benefit players who have no interest in using the character. That way, I know I’m getting at least SOMETHING for character tokens rather than my 500 coins (or thousands for a Super) being totally wasted. For characters requiring 200 tokens, a bonus of anywhere between 20K-50K coins would be a great way to guarantee at least some value from Mystery Boxes.
4) Continuing to save up character tokens for costumes should be optional. If I don’t want these costumes, I shouldn’t have to deal with more character tokens in boxes because others do want them.
5) If all else fails, it should be possible to sell Character Tokens you don’t want, especially for a character you don’t plan on ever using or if you don’t want whatever outfit you’re unlocking. A sale price of about 100 would be fair.

I really love Jake from this game. The way he runs is perfect, and is what I look for in a partner. I haven’t been able to find any other characters who run like him, so thank you for making such a fine man. I hope I can meet him at some point, I’ve dreamt about this. He would call me one day (I don’t expect this) and I check my phone to see an unknown number. I’m a little suspicious, but I pick up anyway, wondering who would be calling me on a Monday morning. He introduces himself as Jake, a professional vandalizer, but I’m still clueless about who he is, as I have never heard his voice before, but he invites me out for some coffee. At first, I decline for this is too sudden for such a fine morning. I ask him how he got my number to which he says he picked up one of my business cards before. This astonishes me, I have never given out any of my business cards because of the spelling mistakes that came once I received them. He goes on about how much he’s been meaning to give me a call, and after a few minutes of persuasion, I finally gave in.

We planned to meet the next day at a local cafe, the smell of coffee has always been one of my favorites. I sit at a tiny table in front of the absolutely gargantuas window, awaiting this mystery man. I start to picture this Jake, a professional vandaliser, tall with sturdy arms, maybe even a slight stubble. I’d imagine hot and steamy tattoos along his muscle-y arm, a sleeve of them, along with medium-length brown hair, not styled. Time ticked, about 10 minutes have gone by since I arrived. I was about ready to up and leave, maybe this was just a case of me falling for those scummy prank calls. Last time was horrendous, I almost had to sacrifice my grandma, but that’s a different story to tell. Anyway, I grabbed my phone and keys and began to leave right when I heard it. Those footsteps, the pattern and pace, I recognized them immediately. I smell of spray-paint hits me as he walks in. Finally I realize, it’s THE Jake, my beloved Jake from Subway Surfers. He runs in and immediately hugs me. I embrace it and smile, this moment had finally come true.

We head back to my table and he goes up to order our drinks. I’m a little weirded out because he happened to order my favorite drink, but maybe this is just a coincidence. He hands me a straw and tells me to enjoy, but as I take my first sip, his eyes. They were staring RIGHT into the depth of my soul, I start to hear him mumbling something. Then, the room went dark, his eyes turned red. I can’t hear anything except his uneven breathing patterns. I slowly gulp down this dummy-delish drink and he started to smirk, then laugh. Suddenly a cop bursts through the door, and man does he have the thickest stache I have EVER seen or what?! He shouts “HEY!” and blows his whistle, instilling fear in me. I turn around to look for Jake, but he’s gone…

Then it happens. My body, I feel it shifting. Things start blurring together and I black out. I can’t remember much, but I ended up in front of these trains. I hear different footsteps this time though. A much slower pace, but still very firm, I realize I’m listening to that cop’s very footsteps. He’s charging at me as I see who I’ve become. I. Embodied. Jake. From Subway Surfers. This whole plan was a scheme for him to escape his horrible life of always running from this man, and I can’t help but feel sympathy for my Jakey-poo. I accept my fate as the new Jake and run for dear life.

Currently, this game is glitched on my phone. Every time I try to play it, the loading bar becomes stuck on the "n" in "loading" and then completely crashes and exits. This has been happening since the dawn of the Winter Holiday update, which is a shame, as I'll probably never be able to experience it.

This review covers the game itself, though. The following criticisms and praises attain to the actual app while in play.

The gameplay is tight and responsive. The decidedly simple controls all work as intended and do test you reflexes well. The scenery is generally standard and forgettable unless you're playing the game during a seasonal event. These instances present some pleasant, artistic graphical changes. The core mechanics of the game are well-made. Props to the developers for that.

Subway Surfer's main problem arises around the subject of item availability and micro-transactions. Although you are given Jake as a starting character, a large majority of the other characters cost 40,000 to 95,000 coins. Most people only make 100,200, or 300 coins in a single run. These characters cost tens of thousands. When you combine this with the price of hoverboards (which grant you special abilities and a temporary second life) and miscellaneous stats you're trying to buy for your runner, the fee becomes ridiculous.

Of course, that's just about looking pretty. When you get down to it, there's no real need for cosmetic changes in this game. They don't do anything for you. However, the competitive aspect of this game is an utterly broken mess.

Coins can be used to buy hoverboards, stats, different types of hoverboards to use, and, the most powerful of all, keys.

Keys can literally pull your character out of the grave through sheer revival.

All of this can be bought infinitely...as long as you can pay up.

...Coins can also be bought with real-life purchases. As many as you like.

I'll let you connect the dots.

The leaderboards are overflowing with people who have (I kid you not) actual billions of miles on their runs. By the time you reach 2 million miles, the game is a Sonic-esque blur of railroads and trains. At that point, it's hard to believe you survived that long on your own.

Now think about what billions of miles must bring forth in speed.

Sorry, the only real explanation for this is keys, stat boosts, and hoverboards. Many, many keys. What's an easy way to get those? Coins! And how can you get coins? With a good wallet!

In fact, on an older phone I had, I abused a glitch that awarded me infinite coins and keys. I also utilized another glitch that allowed me to reverse time to previous events. Needless to say, I bought every single thing the game had. Even pre-existing characters from years back were under my belt. Nothing was sacred.

One day, I decided to run at my best with these glitches. I ran for thousands of miles. Died. Came back. Died some more. I kept the cycle up for a few hours until I got bored.

Finally, I died for the last time and exited the run. The screen flashed to a victory animation of my Zombie Jake running through a path of rainbows (he's only available on Halloween, but you know I cheated).

Suddenly, I was placed on the leaderboard. When I checked my placement, it hit me.

I was the sixth highest runner in the U.S.

Now, if I had bought all my coins and keys through legitimate cash purchases, the outcome would've been the same. Surfers encourages people to "best their friends" and compete, but let's be real. Everyone could just buy their way to the top if they wanted to. I understand that this is a free-to-play game that needs micro-transactions to survive, but this is ludicrous and unfair. It's paying to win. Whoever has more cash is the victor.

Despite its glaring flaws, I do enjoy Subway Surfers as a video game. I definitely recommend it as a download. My main wish at the moment is that they would patch it and get it to work on my phone again.

I was shivering, I never have done anything bad like this before. A month ago I would have never agreed to this. You see, Jakes and my relationship has never been easy going… as kids we were friends, we met in my favorite dumpster and made it our own little home. As we got older we fell in love after he simply kissed me while we were playing make a baby. I was lovestruck. That was until he moved with his hot aunt to chicago. I lost both him and his aunt that day. Years later I was now 15 years old, Jake had came back home and was now 17, I was thrilled to see him again. Only he changed. his long beautiful locks were chopped off, he was wearing huge shoes and we all know what that means. It wasn’t necessary bad for physical appearance, it was his inner soul that had changed for the worse. Jake was a bad seed, he wouldn’t talk to me at school or our neighborhood parties, I would always catch him doing unholy things. One day I walked up to him during a volleyball game for nine year olds, the game was heated and I was missing out on all the action but I didn’t care, the only thing that mattered to me was getting my old jake back “Why have you been ignoring me?” I asked in my most ferocious voice. “I haven't been” he replied, still not looking me in the eyes. I could here the quivering in my voice and feel my face swell when I asked, “Do you even care about me anymore?” This caught Jakes attention. He finally looked at me and gave me a huge hug. I looked up at him, “Aggy” ( my nickname short for agatha) “I haven’t been ignoring you I just… things happen okay, I just don’t want you to turn to the dark side, like me.” I wiped my tears and tried to keep calm. “What do you mean?”
“I can’t tell you here”, he whispered. I followed him to a porta- potty just outside the gym. “We should be good here.”
“ Jake what do you mean by dark side?! We don’t stan darth vader.”
“ No Aggy! I do graffiti!”
My heart was racing, this was bad I never saw this dark side of Jake before. Did I like it? my dad was a cop, how could I associate with such a bad boy?
“I- I don’t care Jake.”
“What?!”
he seemed very suprised.
“ AGGY YOU DONT UNDERSTAND IM DANGEROUS!”
“I don’t care JACOB!”
I never said his full name before, but this gave me power over him.
he grabbed my hand lightly and asked,
“Will you come with me tonight, to the subway?”
“ Anything for you big papi.”
I responded feeling bloated.

And here I am, sneaking around with Jake at the subway, I my dad caught us I would be dead.
I watched Jake as he spray painted an old car box, his firm muscles hidden under his sweatshirt. I never felt more kinky in my life. He looked over at me, his beautiful brown beady eyes glistening in the moon light. His lips began to part, but then instantly snapped back shut. What did he want to tell me? Take two, parting his lips again… and shut.
“What?” I asked almost sounding a little too eager.
“I was just thinking, about that one time in the dumpster… i’ve been thinking about that kiss we’ve shared for 6 years now.”
My body started trembling flustered, not from the cold.
“Me too, but what does that have to do with anything?”
“Just… forget about it. You know you shouldn’t have come here your not built to be bad like me.”
what was he talking about?
“Maybe, but i’m built for you, that’s all that matter's.”
He turned towards me, drops his spray can and out of no where starts kissing me forcefully.
“ I guess that means your my bad gorl now then.”
we drop to the floor and you know what happens, (of course nit everyone is 18+ so we leave most of it to imagination)
When we finished he brushed him thumb on my lips…
“your subway is a little small for my huge train.”
I gave out a small moan and giggled at the same time because when your in love anything is possible. We painted our initials on every train that glorious night, and never got caught by my dad.
I guess you could say Jake had turned me to the dark side, and I wouldn’t have it any other way, because Jakes disco stick will always outshine vandalism. The. end.

Okay, listen up. Probably nobody is going to see this, and that’s okay. I’m just here to say what I personally think of the game. Just a heads up, this review is quite long and if you’re looking to read the whole thing, consider it quite a while, depending on your reading speeds. Anyways, let’s begin the review.

First off, I’ve been playing this game ever since I was a kid, like 7 or 8, and I’ve been playing for a few years now. This game is a classic, and giving it under 5 stars is just unimaginable. Let’s start out with some of the reasons why this deserves a 5 star review.

First off, the game is very addicting. Don’t really know if this counts as a reason why, but I will anyways. This game is VERY addicting, but in a good way. It’s not like no shooter type addicting, it’s like...the Frogger addicting. Well, if you get addicted to Frogger, that is. It’s very fun, and quite possibly the most fun arcade game on the App Store yet. Just to dumb it down a bit, it’s basically an endless runner game, take Temple Run for example. The reason why it’s so addicting is because it basically never ends, since it’s obviously an endless runner. You get to upgrade all of your power-ups, meaning that you can increase the duration that they last when you grab one, and you can also collect multiple coins with a couple of them. I think that there is also a bundle pack you can buy that comes with keys, coins, and I think hoverboards and a mystery box. There also is a double coins pass that you can buy.

Next reason why I give this a five star review is because, well, it’s an absolute classic. This game has been around for multiple years now, and that could be a potential over exaggeration. It’s been around for at least 7 years, which is quite a long time if you ask me. Like I said, I’ve started playing this game around 4-5 years ago, when I was at least 6-7. I have since then gotten very good at the game, and it has been so much fun throughout the journey that I’ve been playing this game, and I don’t think that the fun will end anytime soon.

Another reason why I give this game a five star review is because they actively update it. I think it’s every 1-2 weeks they update the game. That not only means it’s always updated and free of bugs and glitches, but that it still has the community it had a few years ago, still consisting of all those people. Each update takes you to a brand new city/country (I believe that it’s both), and they all include special awards. In the game, you can find tokens that are themed with the city/country. The current update is Amsterdam, and the token is a purple windmill-type structure. I think they’re not getting too close yet to running out of places, assuming that the World Tour updates have been going on for longer than I can even remember. So I’m assuming they do both cities and countries.

The final reason why this game deserves a five star review is because, of course, it’s absolutely phenomenal and fun! Yea, it’s the same thing over and over, but it still has changes to it. It’s not just an endless runner that stays the exact same the entire way through. It has changes the more you progress. The further you get in the round, the faster you go and the faster you gain points. You can also complete missions, which if you complete all 3, you get +1 multiplier, which is absolutely useful for getting more points each time you play. I’m currently at a 14/15 I believe. I redownloaded this game 2 days ago, and I’ve made it to the Gold area in the Top Run. Speaking of the Top Run, the Top Run is a leaderboard that you can access if you sign in with Facebook. It shows peoples high scores, and you can beat them and get higher up on the leaderboard. It goes bronze, silver, gold, and then finally diamond.

The only downside to this game is the ads it has. There’s quite a bit of ads in the game, so I’d recommend not opening any menus when you first log in to the game, as it’ll always pop up an ad. Sometimes, you get lucky and you get ads that you can immediately close out of, but sometimes it’s the opposite. That’s my review on Subway Surfers, and I hoped this helped for anybody looking to start playing this game!

This app is so bad that it makes me so mad just to think about it when I was playing one day I was so close to get the high score championship and have the heights score of everyone in the FRICKING earth but then my phone fell off of FRICKEN charger but right before it did the app paused all of my progress then fell off of charger and when I came to charge my phone and try to complete the FRICKIN game subway surfers desired to delete MY WHOLE PROGRESS IN THE GAME and I lost all the hard work that I was doing for like 2 hours all GONE but the funny thing is that all my FRICKIN stuff was all GONE like all the stuff that I payed all of my keys gone all of my boosters gone all of my HOVERBOARDS GONE BUT MY FRICKIN SCORE THAT I WORKED 2 hours ON WAS GONE AND I HAD MY OLD HIGH SCORE BUT ALL THE STUFF THAT I SPENT WAS GONE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️WHY WHY JUST WHY YOU SUBWAY SURFERS CAUSING ME ALL THE TROUBLE WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHY. I have played and loved this game for years. However, these most recent updates are FULL of what seem to be major code errors. When you watch an ad to “double up” a prize, they don’t always double up (less than 50% of the time does it work properly), and even watching ANOTHER ad doesn’t double it up. When you tap a super mystery box “ad freebie” - you watch the ad and then is just gives you a basic box. That’s also not cool. The code must have been ultra tweaked because my super jumper hoverboard now makes me jump too high and die - sometimes I jump “too high” even without the hoverboard. It’s very annoying after playing this game for YEARS that now these past couple updates changed so much about the overall handling of the game. I’ve purchased extras, dealt with the ever increasing amount of ads, and increasing ad duration, because I do enjoy playing. But I’m not sure I want to continue anymore. What is going on?

*This one star review is more for the most recent updates and OBVIOUS changes made to the game, as well as increased ads and ad duration. I was never compelled to write a review about the game because I did enjoy it, along with many other players. Can anyone explain these recent major changes?

I accidentally deleted my app and when I downloaded the app back on my device my top run score, my keys, hover boards and everything else I purchased with cash or coins were completely wiped out. You would think that this game developers would at least restore if not all of your purchases, coins, hover boards, especially your keys at least some of your purchases out of respect but no SMH Shame on you. I do love playing subway surfer but I will not spend any more money or my coins. The moral thing to do is to allow players of your game to restore their purchases if they deleted the app by mistake or they had to replace their device. Along with me initial review I never seen a game app where your coin total does not equal out correctly, If I scored 5,004 coins my score count was 731,130 why when I scored 10,574 coins my score count is only 254,430. Apparently someone cannot count. I scored 10,072 on a previous run and received a score count of 1,549,350. Stop cheating people with fake scores. I've spoken with other people who play this game and amazingly we all had he same thing to same. With the cheating on calculating the coin count score, and all the glitches that go on during the top run I will end my comments by saying WOW really.

I’ve been playing this game almost from the start and have over 60 characters, over 60 boards, and gold status or better for all achievements.
The graphics are glitchy, as many have pointed out.
But gameplay is affected.
When you pick up the power jumper, you can’t see the power up until you’re on top of it.
The missions make no sense. It only allows you to do one mission at a time and you have to do it from the start.
I had 3 missions: no jumping for 30000, no rolling for 90000, and no power ups for 160000.
Before the update you could jump/roll/get a power up and the counters would reset and you can still get them in the same game.
Now once you jump/roll/get a power up, the counter stops. You have to start a new game to get the counters to run again.
I got caught 4 times to finish the 30000 because once I jumped, the counter always stopped.
There’s an achievement to finish multiple missions in a single run. This is now impossible to do without buying to complete the mission.
Before you there were no power ups until you finished the daily word hunt, which made the game more challenging.
Now they have power ups as soon as you start no matter what.
I can understand trying to update the graphics.
But you’re ruining the gameplay.
I’ve had this app since the 4S.
If they don’t release an update to fix this, will end up deleting it.

I just updated on 8/3 to the most recent update and there are so many glitches and bugs in this update I can’t stand playing the game. One of the major issues is I am logged into Facebook as I can see my friends when I play but the game keeps advertising that I’m not logged in and asking me to sign in to Facebook to play with friends, to get the rewards, and freebies. The second major glitch is certain characters have messed up faces. Eyelashes misplaced on the eyes, mouths are out of place, eyes half open, faces staying split in half, faces actively splitting in half and opening up like they are being zipped apart from the top of their head down, lines through the faces, squared faces so their faces look like a box, and pixelated faces. (The character Nicolai is the worst with the splitting of the face but there are other characters too that do this) Another huge glitch is I keep having to repeat and collect daily activities, missions, and prizes. I will have played the daily words, missions, and collected all my free items for the day but if I get out of the game and go back in it acts as though i didn’t collect anything and wants me to collect them again but it gives me different words and prizes. Also it keeps saying I’ve completed achievements so I claim them all but when I go back it in says I have more to claim even though I haven’t played the game yet. Another issue is I paid for double coins however it doesn’t show I did. I restore my purchases but it still doesn’t show that I purchased double coins, in fact it doesn’t display anything about even offering double coins. It just offers bulk coins, keys, etc. When I play the game it is still allowing me to collect double coins even though it doesn’t show I purchased them.

I recently started playing Subway Surfers again after a six month absence. I quit playing when my data was deleted even though I had it backed up on the cloud. At the time I had 325 million coins, 307,000 hoverboards, 24,000 keys and 22,500 head starts. As you can imagine it took a while to accumulate that much capital. It was just gone and customer support simply said “we can’t restore your data”. It kinda killed my enthusiasm for the game. I stopped playing. I recently decided to give it another try since the game was still in the cloud minus my earnings of course. Starting over was gonna be a challenge but I wanted to see how quickly I could accumulate assets again. I don’t know what has happened to the game since I left but it is now almost unplayable. First the bouncer board cost 280,000 coins. It is the only board anyone should have. I got it back after paying the steep price. The game now is very glitchy with mission objectives not being counted properly or not at all. To get credit for running into five bushes you must run into about twenty. Dodging barriers is a lost cause also as it counts about one out of six that you dodge. Scoring points without getting coins just causes you to lose head starts. I had 50,000 points with no coins collected and the mission called for 10,000 points. Did not complete the mission. Finally had to just buy the mission to complete the set. About 80 % of mystery boxes are new outfits for characters. Many of us could care less what clothes characters are wearing. But I have many new outfits for Tricky and Fresh with seemingly endless opportunities to get more. Mystery boxes are no longer an asset and not mysterious. This morning I clicked on the three free keys and the screen went blank and when it reappeared no video, no keys and no longer a chance to get them. And before customer support says close apps running in background, I never have apps running in background when playing the game. I could go on but this message is too long already. You ask for how you could go from one star to five stars, thought I would give some details on where you might start.

Recently on the whole super runner event, I’ve been having all sort of glitches. First off, my progress for super runner fresh was completely reset when I was on the final stage. I even have the hoverboard to prove I was further in the event, I thought nothing of it. When super runner tricky rotated, I also noticed when I was on stage 3/5, my progress there had also reset to my score to 0. I had kept going on super runner tricky, and yesterday for fresh I had reached level 2/5. Just recently he rotated back in and again my score had been reset to 0. Another issue recently had been in the running mechanic it’s self. When I was running in subway surfers, I randomly clipped through the floor of the game. This has been repeatedly happening, which my character does soon after for being assumably hit by a train. As a customer who has spent money for the game and donated, I get very irritated as I feel the event may be rigged to get money out of the player for the ‘free’ character. (Just a theory, and it may just be a miss understanding) I want to bug to be fixed since there isn’t much time for me to continue the event to get the characters. I’m only upset because I had gotten very far in the event, and should have been able to get the character. Another bug I noticed was with my high score. (It is higher now) my high score of 5m was not on the leader board, and instead my last high score from weeks ago was. (2m while I would have been champion) Due to this, I missed out on getting the rewards I was supposedly supposed to get. I love this game, but these are very upsetting issues that I wanted fixed. Even if I don’t get super runner fresh in compensation, I want the event to be fixed so I can at least earn the character myself for the 5 time of re-running for him. EDIT - I was able to obtain super runner fresh today, the issue is you have to run all at once. Something I noticed though is it seemed to not rotate yet to tricky so over a few hours I was able to get him. (I did have to set an alarm after staying up 24 hours+ and only get 3 hours of sleep for this though) I believe they may be resolving the issue as I speak. Thank you for your time, have a good day.

One, notifications aren’t often reliable. I usually don’t receive notifications about a new location or, an example, the Super Runner stuff. I am still missing Jake’s rewards, with no way to get them. I also end up with what I would consider spam. Tag team events or marathons are really all I get, making it hard to sort useful stuff from junk.

Two, if I start an event, say, 20 min before it ends, because I need the rewards, I will play for well over an hour racking up high scores and collecting prizes. But I never get my tag team or marathon rewards because “the event ended.” Kinda dumb. Just give me the rewards, the claiming menu is pointless anyway.

Three, anything that needs event coins is so freaking expensive! I am trying to get the new surfers for Shenzhen... but can’t. It takes 300 or more keys to buy them right off or 35,000 coins that are near impossible to get without daily activity. I have a very busy life and likely won’t get the characters I want, ever. I can’t get keys without watching adds upon end, because they’re never in the subway.

Four, the game is glitchy. Every time I collect a power up, activate a hover board, start a new game, or just randomly, it will stop and think. The problem is that I can’t move during this time and usually die and watch ANOTHER add to respawn, just to die again from the same problem. This is probably due to the cheesy, less refined graphics from the original.

Five, adds are the only reliable way to get resources. The keys don’t spawn very often, and you still have to puzzle your way to them before it’s too late. Coins are plentiful, but now that I have all the upgrades for my gear, and have most coin bought characters/boards, they’re kinda useless. And again everything with keys costs too much. Adds have become the only way to get keys.

Six, the daily runs are great and all, but they never really add up. It is not possible to fit the necessary gameplay/time into my life. BACK OFF!

Seven, the Super shoes aren’t worth it. I always jump too far or too high or too short or it ends too fast. I almost always die with the Super shoes.

Eight, the game had become a desperate ploy for a little extra cash. You enter the game, adds. You exit the character menu, adds. You exit the shop, adds. You exit the events list, adds. You try and start a run, sometimes an unnecessary add will pop up, and you die.

Nine, your customer support needs help. All the “developer responses” say something about posting it on your website and a link to a page that never loads. You have all the information you need RIGHT HERE. IN THE RESPONSES. And there are CLEARLY, OBVIOUSLY fake reviews and ratings.

Truly, and angry - but loyal - customer and player.

As someone who doesn't align with the celebrations of Pride Month, I recently gave Subway Surfers a try, hoping to enjoy a fun and engaging game. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling deeply disappointed and frustrated. Instead of focusing on gameplay and providing a universally appealing experience, Subway Surfers seemed determined to force an agenda that I personally do not support.

First and foremost, the game bombarded me with an overwhelming amount of rainbow-themed content, ranging from vivid backgrounds to characters draped in rainbow colors. While I understand the importance of promoting inclusivity and acceptance, the excessive emphasis on Pride Month felt forced and distracting. It felt as though the developers were more interested in pushing their own beliefs rather than providing an enjoyable gaming experience for everyone.

Moreover, the game's constant promotion of diverse and LGBTQ+ characters overshadowed the actual gameplay. Instead of prioritizing fluid controls, engaging obstacles, and challenging levels, Subway Surfers seemed more concerned with showcasing an array of rainbow-filled characters. This diversion of attention detracted from the core purpose of the game and left me feeling detached from the experience.

Furthermore, the game's overtly political undertones were impossible to ignore. While I understand the desire for representation and visibility, Subway Surfers took it to an extreme, effectively alienating players who may not share the same beliefs. Games should be a form of escapism, a way to disconnect from the real world and enjoy some light-hearted fun. Unfortunately, Subway Surfers failed to deliver on this front, instead presenting a one-sided and exclusionary message.

In addition, the emphasis on Pride Month overshadowed other important aspects of the game's development. The visuals, which were once a strong point of Subway Surfers, felt lackluster and uninspiring. It seemed as though the developers were more focused on incorporating rainbow imagery than on creating captivating and immersive graphics. The result was a visually underwhelming experience that failed to engage and captivate players.

Finally, I was disappointed by the lack of inclusivity in Subway Surfers' messaging. While Pride Month celebrates diversity and inclusivity, the game seemed to exclude those who do not actively participate or support it. It felt exclusionary and left me with the sense that my beliefs and values were not respected or represented within the game.

In conclusion, my experience with Subway Surfers during Pride Month was deeply unsatisfying. Instead of providing a universally appealing game, it focused excessively on pushing an agenda and failed to prioritize gameplay, visuals, and inclusivity. While I respect the importance of Pride Month and the LGBTQ+ community, it is disheartening to see a game disregard the diverse perspectives and values of its player base.

here’s my basic review: it’s a great game, a rly nice distraction when you don’t want to do nothing but you don’t want to think that hard either. I will say that the prices for characters and boards do seem a little outrageous for normal play, and especially the keys for other outfits and board upgrades, which honestly is most of the fun. u can double your coins on all of your runs and most of your mystery box prizes by watching an ad but not everybody has the time and/or patience to do that enough to make it worth it. other than that it’s a really nice game and very long-lasting.

so I’ve played this game on and off since it came out and I randomly downloaded it again in February. I’ve had some medical problems in the past year and I was just hooked like never before, it was just a good distraction for me. Especially when quarantine came around and I was even more limited with the things I could do, I played daily and often. I have every single character unlocked except yutani and lots of outfits and boards (don’t judge I have lots of free time).

sooo the update comes and I’m very distressed bc my beloved subway surfers has gotten a makeover and why fix it if it ain’t broke but I was also glad to be out of Buenos Aires and finally get some new challenges. it’s clear from the start that there are some kinks that haven’t been completely ironed out yet, but they don’t rly bother me that much and im just enjoying getting used to the new format. I get Jolien and her outfits, I’m at abt 80/85 in the season hunt, 2.99 mil coins, and 715 keys (like I said, lots of free time). I also have an iPad and the app’s on there too, tho I don’t use it on there very often. My progress is kept w online save, Game Center, FB, all the goods. At one point, idk maybe four days after the update, the app just won’t load on my phone. I fiddle around with the connection on my iPad and phone and after probably 1-2 days I get it and voilà it’s working again, yay. So I click save, play for a little bit, then check back in on my iPad where all of the deleting and re-connecting had been happening. I re-connect to my Game Center account in the app and then lo and behold my phone won’t load again (the app, not the whole phone). At that point I was like well I LITerally just saved it so I’ll be fine if I delete it now. I delete it, re-download and connect, and all of my progress from after the update is gone. 2.6 mil coins, 650 keys, 0/5 on the season hunt and no Jolien.

I realize that this is a rly dumb complaint considering that im basically rolling in subway surfer dough and also I play so often that it won’t take me long to get back to where I was, but I’m still salty, especially bc 75 keys and 350,000 coins (+95,000 and 40 keys for Jolien) is a lot more for any sane ppl that play normally.
