Last April of 2025 I signed up for "Fiberoptic" Internet and phone service from Frontier Communications. The technician who came to install my service informed me that the order was written up wrong and he couldn't do the work. He called in Frontier's main office to resubmit the order while I watched. But Frontier never responded.
Since I was to travel out of State I decided to try again with Frontier in August. But when August came I discovered that Frontier had been removing money from my checking account (to the tune of $452) for a service they never provided.
I have spent the last month on the phone for hours at a time with several of Frontier's very nice and accommodating customer service representatives. Each one worked out a $452 refund and an order to complete the installation as originally promised. And each time I received a text from Frontier that the refund was denied.
I have been in communication with the technician who originally came out to our home for the installation. He's very apologetic and promised to communicate this unprofessional service to his supervisors but with no better results.
This whole experience has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth for Frontier Communications. I could never do business with a company that robbed me and refused to refund my money. I have wasted countless hours on the phone with Frontier and have gotten nowhere.
Recommendation: I would avoid doing business with Frontier Communications. If there's ever a problem they seem unable to make things right.
