Frigidaire – Horrible appliances - horrible customer service

My wife and I purchased kitchen appliances for the remodeled home we were moving in after retirement. We purchased all Frigidaire appliances to include refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and overhead microwave for almost $4,000. Several months ago my wife utilized the self-cleaning mode on the oven and there was some sort of malfunction and the glass windows frosted over so that you can no longer see the inside of the oven. We do have a warranty on all of the appliances. I called in to customer service and they said they would send someone out to look at the oven. We had a date and time scheduled for someone to come out and no one came. We scheduled two more appointments and no one showed up each time. Mind you, I called each time and was told to be patient someone would be there and each time, NO ONE CAME! We were finally able to get someone to come out and look at the oven. They wrote their report and after numerous frustrating calls, Frigidaire finally sent a part - the front door to the oven - which is not the part that we needed. So, back to the phone I go to Customer Service. They sent another technician out and it appeared that we would get the part (whole door) that we really needed. I called Customer Service shortly after that visit and was told that the door was ready to be shipped but the tracking number wasn't available yet. I called back a couple weeks later to check the status and was told no door would be shipped and I would need to purchase the part(s). We want to be able to see in our oven door so, at this point, we have no choice than to purchase the parts and then get them installed. Frigidaire has horrible, horrible, horrible customer service and we will NEVER purchase a Frigidaire product again. I am advising all friends and acquaintances not to purchase Frigidaire products as well.
