Ford 2006 ford explorer 4wd

Hi, my name is Lisa Williams. I have a 2006 Ford Explorer. It has a about 100, 000 miles on it. It looks really good and has been taken care of. I am not the original owner. My sister and brother-in-law bought it used. They had it for many years, took care of all maintenance on it. In July 2017, the transmission went and had to be replaced which they did.

They gave me the car in July 2018. It has been a very good car. But this July 2019, as I was driving, it just quit. I had just gotten off the highway and was able to coast off the side of the road. I thank the Lord for that. The place I had it towed to said the timing chain broke and that I would need a new engine. Got a second opinion from Ganley Ford in Norton, Ohio, and they said the same thing.

Is there any recall on this engine or does Ford help at all with these type of repairs as both the transmission and engine needing replaced are major repairs. Please let me know.

Ford 2017 ford focus

My car has 12, 500 miles. Around 10, 000 miles the clutch started slipping. When pressing the gas, the RPM's rev up to 3-5, 000, but the car has no power. This lasts from 2-4 seconds. It occurs during stop and starts and occurs when driving. It is extremely dangerous when passing on the interstate because of the power loss. It is in the shop (August 28, 2019) at Paul Miller Ford, Lexington KY getting the clutch replaced.
I still owe $13, 900 on my car. Is there an extended warranty offered for future damage from this issue? I understand the transmission is most likely also affected and is a possible fire hazard. Or is there a program to replace my car? I am a 60 year old disabled woman and this was to be the last car I purchase as I am no longer working.
My car is still like new inside and out but I do not want to make payments on a car that has such serious issues.

Ford too many recalls and issues with my car

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion. I have had 2 recalls. One for brakes issues and the other for transmission issues. I noticed the issues with my car before I was informed of the recalls. I took my car in to a Ford dealership, which they gladly replaced the parts or fixed the issues. However, those same issues re-appeared.
Now I am having issues with my steering assist system out of nowhere. All of my sensors are going haywire. When I make a left turn or try to go in reverse, my dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree. All of my traction indicators, my rear park assist, hill assist, ABS, advance trac...everything comes on. The dangerous part is that it affects my power steering making it very hard to steer and when the Rear Park assist light comes on (even when I am in DRIVE) the car does not want to move. After checking the site and finding out there are 6 recalls on Ford Fusion, one being the Steering: Electric Power Assist System, I called the dealership. They said my car does not have a recall on that part but it does have ANOTHER recall on the seat belt and airbag. What gives? I am still paying for this car but having far too many issues. FMC please help.

Ford failure to honor warranty claim

Vehicle: 2018 Ford Escape SEL with 3600 miles.
The plastic cowling over the rear view mirror falls off on one end easily and going over a bump. Also a wire sensor attached to the windshield located undeer trhe aforementioned cover has come off.
Following the dealers (OC Welch, Hardeville, SC) inspection I was told the windshield has to be replaced.
A week later I was informed that Ford denied the claim and insinuated that somehow this was my fault.
Ford Customer Service told me tha it was the dealers decision and the dealer said it was Fords desision.
I am stuck with a new car with problems that Ford/dealer refuse to remedy.

Ford 2014 ford focus transmission

i brought a 2014 ford focus i have had the clutch replaced 1 time and the clutch reprogram 2 times this was all done before warranty was up. i took the car back last year where i bought from and told them it was still lurching and shudder real bad. they said that my warranty was over because of going over the mileage about 100 miles that i needed contact the ford company about it i told that was not my job but there because they were the ones working on the car. they said they contact them and said the ford company refused to fix the car. as of today my car has not been fixed the lurching and shudder is still there and worst. and the gas mileage has gone done alot due to this problem also.

Ford finance officer

My daughter bought a brand new echo sport august 23, 2019 and the finance guy, lou flores disclosed to a third party some very private and personal information, he was asked not to discuss any information with a third party and he did. I have bought 4 brand new cars from ford and I sent my daughter to ford because I thought it was a very good car company we could trust but not after we found out he discussed her finances to a third party, I am very disappointed in this matter! This kind of information could have been leaked and caused some serious issues. We put our trust in ford and this is not acceptable. Lisa m. Maier

Ford fords premium care extended warranty

We recently bought a 2015 Ford Flex with 39000 miles on it. We bought it used from a dealership in American Fork. We drove our car for a little over a month and less than 3000 miles, when our ball joint failed and caused our car to hit a curb. This was Witnessed by a police officer and an accident report was done even though there were no other cars involved. I could not get the warranty to tow the car so my insurance had to. When the report was sent to the ESP for review. They chose NOT to review the police report as the did not feel it was needed. The inspector said with the damage involved it was NOT a mechanical failure but was due to the driver hitting the curb. They denied the claim. This all took 2 weeks, while my car sat at the dealership not being touched. The police report included witness statements and that the car was traveling 5 miles per hour if not less and that the driver was making a sharp right hand turn. The car went left due to the driver tire facing left and the passenger tire fully right. tire tracks proving that it failed prior to hitting the curb. After the claim was denied we had to file a claim with our insurance. The claim was filed quickly but the dealership took their time ordering the parts and then even after the parts were in it took several days for them to get it into a service bay to work on it. It is now been 30 days and the dealership is still not done fixing it so it can go to the body shop. We are being told it will be the end of next week before it will be done. We are currently having our lawyer review the case and will be submitting a request to Ford to review the case again WITH the police report since the most accurate information comes from the seen at the time of occurrence. should they choose not to review the case we will likely proceed with legal proceedings. Something that should have been so simple and it has become extremely complicated. still without my car! It seems that Fords Premium extended warranty is worth nothing. I have heard many people say that they bought the extended warranty and were always denied on their Claims. Funny how I have not seen anything on someone saying they were so glad they paid extra money for a warranty and it was great. Most people just feel ripped off. I can understand why! I want to take legal action but everyone says its a dead end road because Ford has big lawyers and money, blah, blah, blah. Yeah they have my money! They promised to provide coverage for my car and then refused to even review ALL the information before they denied the claim. My kids are now scared to ride in the car for fear that something else might brake. It scared them to death when this happened. Ford doesn't care! UGH. I am feeling helpless.

Ford 2013 f350 truck

F350 with 58, 00 miles occurring August 20, 2019. engine light came on and pickup was running very rough called my mechanic had me take pu to riellys auto for a diagnostic that indicated that i had misses in at least 3 cylinders - further work is being done as i write this, and so far my mechanic has found 2 cylinders at 0 compression ad 2 more with reduced compression- at the moment the estimate for the work in $2500 - and maybe more if i need a new engine! with only 5800 mi on my engine dose not seen right especially with the cost of these pick ups .
I know it is a machine and i would not have the same feelings if i had not similiar problem with my first ford pu with just 42000 mi . now this my third ford pu and 2 of 3 have had major motor troubles with less than 60000 mi, that is not a very good track record and this will be my last one!

Ford brake master cylinder leaking into booster

The brakes on my f-150 all of a sudden went soft and i almost went into the instersection. My mechanic said there is a recall for that year truck and to contact the ford dealership. When i contacted the
dealership, they said there is a recall, but my truck didnt fall
under the dates of the recall. Obviously ford needs to expand
the recall for all 2013 f150's.

Ford ford escape backordered parts

I took my 2018 Ford Escape with 28500 miles into the dealership on 5/6/19 for a coolant leak. At that time, they replaced the oil cooler asy. On 6/14/19 with 30700 miles, it was back in for the same issue and has been sitting there torn apart for over 2 months now due to backordered parts. First it was the engine, then a gasket, and just this week another part!

After one month of waiting, I called Ford Motor Co and reported a claim. Since then, every week I am passed on to another person with no answers for me. Each one says they will get back to me in 24hrs or within a week whether they have any new information or not and those have all been broken promises. I've been told my vehicle does not qualify for a buy back program with no reason given. When asked for a reason, I have been told to reference my states lemon law guidelines.

I am completely fed up and cannot get anyone to help with this matter!

Ford duratec water pump failure

I was returning home from the office on Friday August 16th making the turn onto my street when my vehicle, a 2010 Ford Edge shutdown almost mid turn and I clipped the curb slightly before completing the turn and coming to a stop, I looked and the temperature gage was buried in the hot, I had no warning up to the point off shutdown. I got out of the vehicle and I could see that coolant was leaking on the pavement on the passenger side. I had the vehicle towed to Crest Lincoln in Sterling Heights whom said that the water pump went (as I suspected) and most likely toasted the motor due to the dumping of coolant into the oil, I said toasted the motor in disbelief, how does the water pump shaft and seal failure dump coolant into the oil? Then I found out where the water pump is located, again disbelief, it's kind of like running electrical lines through the center of the pool for the filter….not a good mix. Crest called me and confirmed the motor was shot and said it would be $7, 950.00 to replace. Is Ford Motor going to take any action to give the thousands of people whom are going to have this same experience with their 2008 ~ 2018 Edge, Flex or Fusion with the Duratec motor any type of restitution? Ford 2013 f-150

I took my F-150 in for a recall. The service tech informed me that the water pump needs to be replaced and the cost to replace it is $1500. My truck only has 40k miles . It's hard to believe that I paid over $40k for this truck and now it has a major problem with it. I can't imagine what kind of problems I'm going to have at 100k. Is this typical for ford ?
I had bought the extended warranty for the truck and it expired in April of this year. I called the 800 number earlier and was told there's nothing that ford can do about it.

Ford Radio

I've had my 2016 Ford Escape over a year now and the radio stopped working months ago. I've had the Ford dealership take a look at it and they can't seem to find the problem. I've tried resetting as instructed but no avail. I've seen that there have been many others with the same vehicle that are having the same problem. I really like the car but it is very disheartening that no one wants to take responsibility for this and it seems to be an issue with a lot of the 2016 Ford Escapes. Why has there not been a recall or something letting the dealerships fix this problem for consumer and customer satisfaction? The radio comes on and everything but there is absolutely no sound. Can this be fixed or recalled or replaced at no expense to me?

Ford 2017 ford f-350 6.7 wheel lugs

Ford covers the wheel lug with a cover that distorts within a short period of time. My daughter has bought an F-350 for the last two years and convinced me to by one. I bought a 4 Door PU with an 8 foot bed to pull my Airstream. Not a happy camper since the the wheel lugs, 32 of them all have the same problem. My question is Ford going to stand behind their product? Poor design wheel lugs are NOT what I expect out of Ford.

Ford 2015 ford f150

I purchased a 2015 F150 from a local dealership less than a year ago. I have had my local Ford dealership service it as scheduled. I am having a known Ford issue with a valve on top of the fuel tank. There is a TSB on it which clearly states it is covered under the emission warranty. The dealership is not going to warranty as they informed me it a Canadian vehicle. I was never told a vehicle from Canada will not be warrantied to USA standards here. I sold every vehicle over the last two years and now only own 3 Fords. I am not happy with Ford now. I believe this should be under warranty per the TSB. I called the Ford customer service and have not heard back. Not a surprise. Now my Ford is at the dealership . I also filed a complaint with the NHTSA. The Ford case # CAS-[protected]-23D0R1 TSB 15-0171 Also the part number in question is the same for Us or Canada trucks. Can you help restore my loyalty ? Should I get out of Fords ? Can you help ?
