I placed an order for catering on Wednesday October 26 for a large meat and cheese platter to be ready at 10am on Friday October 28 for a work event. When my associate arrived d to pick up the platter she was told they did not have an order for her I spoke with the deli manager and she told me it wasn’t there I put lord up the email to send pictures of the confirmation to my associate which she showed to the deli manager. I then spoke with her again as she told me it was not her fault her store manager should have brought her the info and I would need to contact him. It is 10:44am at this point and I had no platter or resolutions. I contacted the store manager who apologized and made a platter and comped it for us for the mistake. When it finally gets to my store it is the wrong platter a small one which won’t feed nearly enough of the people for our event. I call the store manager back who was going to look into it and return my call and I still have heard nothing back? It was an extremely disappointing experience, and ruined the event planned having us to go purchase pizzas quickly to have enough food to feed everyone. Not sure how this got so messed up but it did. Awful customer service and really poor service. I would warn anyone who wants catering. It can really ruin a whole event. That takes a lot of hard work and planning. Dry dissatisfied customer.
Desired outcome: Not sure how you can fix this? Would be nice for that store manager to at least reach back out after the several mistakes and him telling me he would. Please train your staff the importance of having catering orders made on time.
