I went to the Renton, WA Firestone (421 Union Ave NE, 98059) today, 11/20/20, for an alignment. After getting checked in, I turned to have a seat in their waiting area, but there was one gentleman sitting there, unmasked. I waited a minute or so to see if he was going to comply with our state health department's mask order, but he didn't, so I went outside to wait. Then it started raining, so I came back in. I considered just leaving, but my car was already being worked on. Since he still was unmasked, and now was coughing, I went as far away as possible, about 30 feet from him, but there were no chairs there, so I stood in the corner for probably 40 minutes. I am 70 years old with asthma and COPD, and I've got a back issue. I have no intention of starting a fight with some Covid-denier, but I still want to remain safe. When I went to pay for my alignment, I registered my concern with the attendant, but he didn't seem to be overly concerned with it. I will not return to that store. I urge your company to require that employees read, understand and follow the directives that are in place for our state, especially with Covid cases rising, now, seemingly uncontrolled.
