Firestone Complete Auto Care review: Fire service

I brought my car in because I had a nail in my tire. They put my car on the lift and after looking at it told me I needed a new tire. The service writer then informed me he would have to order it, I didn't live in the area so I asked if they thought I could drive on it and they said it should be fine. Because I worked in the area they still offered to order the tire I told them to hold off. The service writer gave me an estimated cost of 1300.00 for four tires on a vehicle with 11700 miles on it.
I took my car to my dealer that same day only to be informed the nail never punctured my tire so I didn't a new tire much less four.
I felt that because I'm a female they thought I didn't knew anything about cars they could take advantage of me.
Very disappointed in how they handled this and will no longer be doing business with firestone
