Fiji Airways review: Lost items due to security officer fiji airport departure section

Dear Officer,

We Mr. Raja Moturi & Madhavi Moturi along with 2 kids traveled from Los Angeles to Melbourne via Fiji on 01October.

We are in Transit from NADI TO MELBOURNE on 3rd OCT boarding Time 0715. Flight number: FJ 935.

We have purchased Duty Free Alcohol In LA LAX International Airport worth of $550 AUD. we have been told that transit passengers can carry duty free goods as per the international duty free hold law.

Even we requested several times explaining this to the Security Officer with these following details in NADI International Departure section literally harassed us and not allowed to take duty free goods and thrashed them in the bin.

We have contacted Australian Embassy and they advised to send a written complaint to FIJI Airways. I would seek your investigation on this and cover the cost of lost items.
