Fido Cellularfalse charges and billing

I have 2 phone numbers with Fido. I have beeen a Fido customer for the past 3 years. I was a high paying loyal customer until these horrible issues arrised. I noticed I was getting overchared for calls I was not making and text messaging for a period of about 3 months. After no resolution because of pathetic customer service, I was advised by my husband who is a lawyer which specializes in small claims, to allow them to shut down my service because if the outstanding bill and to see what happens. sure enough, sevice was cut off, however they still continues to charge me with these false charges as well as the monthly charges for my pphone plan, which will cause them great problems in court. Since they disconnected service they are in no way allowed to bill the mpnthly charges, as they are in no way providing the srvice stated in the contrace. We will be contacting the CRTC, Consumer Alert, and the Better Business Bureau in regardt to this befoe collecting more data to move forward with a claim. If anyone lse is experiencing the same or similar issues, please post ant I will contact you and we can all move forward againt this unethical company together.

    I'm having the same issues. I have an unlimited package with them which
    At the beginning had only cost me $70, became $130 in 1-2 months after
    I had activated the services. I refused to pay to see whether they would fix
    it on their own because speaking to a rep gets me nowhere and now in just
    4 months i've managed to rack up a $950 bill although I wasnt given any
    Services and they breached the contract they'd given to me. Please help!

    I agree the FIDO reps are quiet demoralizing when you speak to them sorry to hear your situtaion I completely understand since I have and am going through similar situation. It is very stressfull to deal with them you can spend over an hour speaking with them and get no where and it feels as though you are speaking in circles. It makes me sick and overly stressed whenever I know that I have to call FIDO to speak to them in regards to any problem.

    Hello again!

    I feel I should also add that the fido reps I've spoken to are not only anything but helpful - they are also demoralizing and just plain rude at times! Last time I called them I was run in circles and given blatantly silly answers to my questions, and eventually you could hear people laughing in the background.

    Also in the last few months I have been getting calls from fido where I am asked to hold and I wait for about 10 min. The moment I'm connected to someone they hang up on me.

    It's maddening and I feel quite trapped.

    Thanks for letting me know it's not all in my head!

    I have had similar problems. I am continually over charged (this month my bill is $250), but I have unlimited incoming and outgoing calls, and I have yet to go over my texts or internet. I have to fight with them for over an hour every month. Sometimes the cost is reduced, sometimes not, and sometimes I'm told that the problem is fixed and then find out the next month that the charges were left in place and I'm then billed for late payment.

    I am a student and struggling with basic living costs as it is. I can't keep paying these amounts, but I can't follow your lead because I can't afford to buy myself out of my contract (It would be over $400). I get no help by calling customer service and going into the retail locations in person leads to about the same.

    If you have any advice or encouragement, I would love to hear it!
