Farmers Insurance Group Check issued in wrong name, policy 950445072

I had recently sold my house in Muskogee, OK, 717 30th St, and cancelled my policy on 8/31/2020. I received a refund check and it was written to my husband and son, Richard Erdman and Jacob Erdman. The premium was taken from the mortgage holder each year from our account under the names of Richard Erdman and Debora Livingood. When I called to get the check voided and reissued in my name and Richard Erdman on September 9, 2020 I spoke to 4 different people who kept transferring me around just so I could be told because the account is now closed they cannot change the names on the check,
My son Jacob should not have been on the check as he was only a resident. He lives in Oklahoma and we live in Colorado. So to make things worse is that we would have to somehow get to Oklahoma to have him sign the check with both parties present. This is not going to work. The check should have been made correctly to Richard Erdman and Debora Livingood and is only good for 90 days. We may not be able to get there before the 90 days is up.

Farmers Insurance Group My adjuster was extremely rude. He, his manager, and my agent were dishonest with me

I submitted a claim for roof damage to my home. Roofing company took pictures of roof and fascia and submitted claim. Approved and that process was smooth.

A hail storm came by after the claim was approved, but before the roofing work started. Damage to the siding was evident. The adjuster suggested to submit a new claim, since the date of the damage is different. So I did just that.

The claim was assigned to a new adjuster initials m.K. Out of texas. Completely the opposite of my first adjuster. He was extremely rude, interruptive, and even combative with me about the second claim. I had 4 calls with him, and he was the same every time. The last time he even tried to play "let's make a deal" with me and make an addendum to the first claim (at a much lower price), all for "transparency's sake" (his words, not mine). Why wasn't he "transparent" the first time we talked?

I talked with my agent g.W. About the negative experience, and said m.K.'s manager, b.P., would get in touch with me. M.K. Left a voicemail, and I responded to him with a voicemail. I didn't get anything back.

In the meantime, my agent, g.W. Asks for pictures to make a determination consistent with the hail storm (hint: they already have them). So I play along and send him pictures I received from the contractor. Nothing about the pictures were mentioned by my agent (like: we already have these).

B.P. Asks to drop by and review the damage to the house. He states that they already had the pictures of the roof (not the fascia) and, if they had pictures of the fascia, that would also help determine damage to the siding (hint: they determined that the storm didn't do any damage. Surprise!) he also stated that "any good contractor" would have sent them pictures.

First, the have pictures already in the file, so why ask for the same pictures (unless you wanted different pictures, which they didn't ask for).
Second, you shouldn't say you don't have fascia pictures to help you out when you do (you think the roofers replaced the fascia for free? Ahh, no).
Fourth, I find it funny that b.P. Calls out the contractor for not doing their job by supplying pictures when the contractor actually did. Typical sleazeball used-car dealership comments by passing off the blame, hoping that i'll fall for it.
Fourth, I mentioned m.K.'s behavior. B.P. Completely ignored my comment. Brought it up again, and ignored it again. So i'm assuming this is acceptable crappy behavior towards customers...

Btw - I recorded the conversations with b.P. Using my phone, so there can't be a "he said, she said" scenario. Perfectly legal.

Whether the claim was appropriately denied or not, the way it was handled by farmers was flat out miserable. Shame on farmers with their dishonest tactics. Don't lie to me. Don't manipulate me. Apologize for poor behavior. Have some full disclosure. Discuss corrective actions moving forward to treating customers professionally.

Farmers Insurance Group Bad customer service

Not only did the price change 3 times after quote was given, the auto pay service was not put through correctly, agent never contacts me until weeks after policy was cancelled. I'm left uncovered, and unaware of this. Instead of helping fix this issue agent (now after cancellation) sends me email copies of correspondence from farmers of cancelling my policy and chastised me for not redponding to usp mail from them.
Also states he has too many clients to keep track of things. Lol one less now.

Farmers Insurance Group My adjuster was extremely rude

Jaclyn Matthews is my adjuster for a car accident I had on March 6, 2019. Her email is jaclyn.[protected]@farmershawaii.com. From the moment she called she was talking to me like I was her 5 year old child. Remind you, I'm in the hospital in pain, scared, and upset due to the incident. The last thing I would expect is a super rude lady with absolutely no sympathy. She was scolding me. With a reaction from somebody who is supposed to be on my side was extremely unexpected. Thus, I am hiring an attorney due to her lack of willingness to help me become whole again from this accident.

Farmers Insurance Group Misleading comment from Lonette below, terrible response to my note, just unprofessional approach to a very loyal Farmers customer??

They actually sent an email from two years ago back to me with my non interest in more coverage, great brush off but not total story? I was told possibly I could recieve a small portion of my roof claim. of course that was not true. no explanation other than a brush off. I sent the below on 2-3?
_lonette, I am just getting back from vacation. this is what your sending back to me after our conversation. this is what farmers has to say to someone who has been with them for 25 years and needs some help. as I stated I know this is on me and it's my responsibility but I do expect some type of support from farmers. after we talked I receive a one sentence response. nothing like being pushed aside

Let me share the back log of communication chaos

The last agent I met was susan aberbook. she was helpful and we made some changes with my farmers policy, I believe on autos. after adding some auto stuff I did inquire with her on the roof, added coverage, as well as some concerns with fire as well. especially in the past years with all the ca fires and our area being very dry. I was interested in more coverage

She never got back to me. there were several attempts to contact her. that was two years ago now maybe a little longer. I then call a person called jorge-halvas-begovich who was sending information and had suggested some additional coverage to my home, he never returned several of my phone calls. then I found out he left farmers as well.in the past year I have received information from farmers reps dustin aleman, hailey brychel, oksana wood, phillip george and I think even a few others. this made the situation even more unclear like are you serious?

As I stated maybe if farmers wasn't so disorganized and made things simpler folks would review closer or at least review their coverage. I can say shame on me and recognize this was my error. can farmers take any responsibility and help some?

Even after our discussion you would think someone could pick up the phone and leave a professional voice mail. I guess in colorado with all the new folks moving in its easy to forget about the loyal customers.

I'll pass along the above to farmers at a higher level, maybe they'll feel some of this is on their sales team

Farmers Insurance Group life and accident insurance fraud and theft

A woman who knows Schneider was already doing I'd theft on me living in my home started replacing my original docs wit fakes started doing mail fraud and convinced me to hire David rahm and rahm took my money and sent Schneider I was misrepresented these individuals decided to have Schneider who was disbarred for theft as an attorney so he decided to steal accidents paid from his clients I was then placed in a horrific accident where I almost died Anabel knew how to do insurance and set me up with a killer they double insured my mother who died and she posted as me under a different name possibly cashed in my mother's policy and suddenly Schneider top selling agent Anabel has unlimited wealth to travel and buy homes across America and hired accomplices Lonnie Cox to break my leg I was covered yet my agent Kyle Kenny failed me never made a claim for my accident in 2011 screwed me out of compensation yet the driver who caused the wreck and was dui at scene get compensated and omit me from the accident they falsified police reports stole alot of money and to hide their new found wealth in properties Schneider bought his fancy new building and Ana who was homeless and evicted placed me on his and welfare while she assumed my identity now broken leg disabled and broke 3 accidents stolen and all eglet and prince could say is they don't know what Lonnie's insurance was so dropped me but there's evidence all 3 benefitted from my misfortune caused my misfortune and made my life a living hell as they manipulated and controlled my life from a far I'm furious I've suffered so much it's insurmountable because a crooked agent /attorney decided to steal from clients same reason he was disbarred I want someone to look into this I lost everything including precious life spent miserable while these swindlers robbed me blind for over 20 years

Farmers Insurance Group poor representation of the coverage I needed

This agent and his firm new that I was taking my 5th wheel to Mexico and would leaving it there until my girlfriend obtained a visa to the US.

They insuranced it, but neglected to tell me that I needed special Mexician insurance.

The 5th wheel was broken into and many things were stolen and damage occur.

Brandon played dumb when I put in a claim. Lost my business forever. And I'm passing on this information to anyone who will listen. "Stay away from Farmers"!

There is no reason to send any photos since this agency doesn't care that I'm even leaving them. I guess they got enough money from me over the years.

Farmers Insurance Group liability claim

On 8/19 my neighbor Randall Parker backed out of his driveway and hit my parked car. I filed a claim, got estimate and provided pictures. Claim number [protected].
I was told the claim was accepted and I would be mailed a check. The claims agent (aaron) then began not acceping my calls, his spervisor told me she would personally handle it two fridays ago and mail me a check. (Heather). No check arrived i was told a second time it would be mailed, again it did not arrive. I was told they sent it to the wrong address, they would issue another check and overnight it. The check did not arrive I asked for a tracking number . The tracking number turned out to be fake. Which brings us to now. No payment for my damages.

Farmers Insurance Group dirty business / auto insurance

I urgently need your help. Desert Cab car hit my car on Sept4th and my car heavily damaged (Farmer Claim #[protected]). Desert Cab's Insurance DB Ford acknowledge that they are responsible for the accident. My car in body shop and after 3 weeks of accident, body shop do not started the work, because impossible to deal with Farmer's adjuster and adjuster's managers. My agent Joe Hass also do not communicate with us after 6 written request.
Farmer want to use used parts from east coast, and body shop do not want to use used parts. I talk to the supervisor of adjuster (kevin.oxborrow@farmersinsurance.com ) and Rob Pearsall (robert.pearsall@farmersinsurance.com) and they are stated "The part is used but reconditioned by the vendor and something we can use per our policy"
I asked Mr. Pearsall that I like to talk to his boss, and he mentioned that he is not available (after 3 days of request). When I asked him give me the VP name of customer service, he is not replying. I also ask Joe Hass office, they also not answering. Well this is clear indication that the Farmer Insurance company in every level do not want to help and represent the customer. After 3 weeks of accident, they do not know what they are doing.

I do not understand this situation. BD Ford insurance company responsible for my accident, and Farmer role only, that they need to send the final bill to BD Ford. No idea why Framer want to use used parts, which will downgrade the quality of my car. This is unlawful and against my policy.
I'd like to ask you urgently talk to Mr. Pearshall ( robert.pearsall@farmersinsurance.com) to modify the estimation and use only new replacement parts.
I'm so disappointed with Farmers adjusters and my agent Joe Hass. I never experienced this poor communication and disregards the customer.

The United States insurance industry is one of the most profitable industries in the country, with trillions of dollars in assets and profits of over $30 billion a year. Yet they routinely fight aggressively to avoid paying even small legitimate claims to their policyholders. Farmer's insurance company is no exception. While they spend millions in advertising, they routinely encourage their claims adjusters and employees to engage in bad faith practices.

Insurance Bad Faith Practices

One of the main ways Farmer's and other insurance companies achieve such high profits is to engage in bad faith practices. Some of these practices include delaying payments in the hopes that you will give up, denying valid claims, offering policyholders far less than they need, and failing to return phone calls. Accident victims who are having trouble with their insurance company begin to feel as if there is no hope. As a result, they usually settle for far less than they need—and deserve. Farmer's insurance and their Quest for Gold In order to encourage employees to offer low payments to policyholders, Farmer's ran an employee incentive program called "Quest for Gold". This program awarded gift certificates and pizza parties to adjusters who met specific low payment goals. They even told claims representative to stop paying claims—even when valid. They routinely encouraged small payouts—and their policyholders were the victims.

Farmer's Insurance and Bad Faith

How bad is Farmer's? So bad that JD Powers and Associates ranked it the worst insurance company for auto insurance, giving it only 2 out of 5 stars. The Better Business Bureau also ranked it poorly because it received the most consumer complaints with 501!

If you have been the victim of an insurance company, you need an aggressive insurance attorney on your side. Insurance companies, like Farmer's, will often play hardball with accident victims—until they obtain legal representation. With an attorney in your corner, you can fight the insurance companies and obtain the maximum compensation.

You may unknowingly damage your car accident claim by speaking with an insurance adjuster. Remember, they are looking for ways to deny your claim or reduce your settlement. Any information you provide them can and will be used against you to lower your claim.

Farmers Insurance Group vehicle insurance

My car insurances rates have increased twice this year for a total increase of over 40%.

The first increase occurred in June 2019 when my car insurance rates increased from $776.40 to $932.88 (for 6 months). The reason I was offered for this 20.2% or $156.48 increase was 2018 wildfires in California. I don't see the connection between the operation of my cars and wildfires caused by PG&E's vegetation abatement failures.

The second increase occurred in September 2019 when my 6 month car insurance rates increased from $932.88 to $1089.70. The reason for this 16.8% or $156.82 increase was that a prior customer loyalty discount was rescinded as a result of an audit by the CA Insurance Commissioner.

The reasons for the increases, as provided by the Farmers agent, do not offer any comfort to me, a fixed income, disabled veteran. There seems to be something not right about this entire situation. As a 23-year customer of Farmer's, I am deeply disappointed.

Farmers Insurance Group membership fees

On every home and car insurance I have with them, I am charged a "membership fee" of 25.00 every time I pay the yearly fee on all. That being said, 75.00 a year for this "membership fee"- -which has absolutely NO benefits.

Have asked about it and was told. "we always charge that"- -and this is the answer?

I receive NO benefits from being a "member"- -not even sure what a "member" is for. I am a customer, NO member.

How can this be legal?

Farmers Insurance Group claims dept

On July 4th our son was crashed into by a drunk Farmers Insurance insured. Since then Farmers has made it extremely difficult to deal with. The claim # is 7000236444. The latest thing they want from us is the title. Wendy Mowry who was the claim adjuster that we were working with told us to put the title that we received from the seller of the car that was crashed into. We did that and Framers had the car towed away.
We had just got the car a few days before, so we did not have the title transferred yet.
They have sent us a settlement statement which we are in agreement with but they are requiring a clean title of which we cannot produce because we have no copy of the title we received from the seller of the car. (2008 Chev Cobalt)

Farmers Insurance Group how u handled my claim

First, my initial contact with farmers was not handled correctly regarding payment. Because the agent didn't do his job I almost had the policy cancelled. I called farmers and they suggested another agent. I had a defective water valve leak water and damaged my carpeting. The carpet was 29 years old and the flooring company said when they attempted to stretch it back, after the carpet was dried by service master, it tore. My first floor is combined into living room, dining room, four season room and bedroom. The claims adjuster said both the flooring company and service master said there was flood damage prior to this claim. There was no such thing and I called them ands they said they never told Brad Wiles that . Why would he lie? He took forever to pay service master . Service master called me after 3 months and said they haven't heard from anyone and we're not paid. I had to call the claims adjuster to troll them to call service master. Why did I have to be involved in this?
Farmers only paid for the carpeting in the living room, dining room and four season room. You wouldn't pay for the bedroom although it's all connected. You also wouldn't pay for the plumber.
Needless to say I'm very disgusted with Farmers especially the claim adjuster. I cancelling my policy

Farmers Insurance Group poor customer service

My complaint is on a Farmers Insurance Adjuster who's name is "John Rich." I was given the phone number to contact "John Rich" regarding my claim for my vehicle, I wanted to have my vehicle towed back to my home from the body shop Farmers Insurance had recommended for me to have my vehicle worked on. I now have chosen to not have my vehicle worked on at that body shop as I was told I had the right to take my vehicle to any body shop I prefer. When I called "John Rich" he was extremely rude, very unpleasant. He said to me in such a rude tone with attitude "We cannot just keep towing your car back and forth from one place to another." What "John Rich" said to me and in his rude tone was extremely unprofessional. My vehicle was only towed once to the body shop Farmers Insurance had recommended. Now I am simply asking for it to be towed back home as I will be taking my vehicle to a different body shop. His words & his rude attitude was not necessary, it was uncalled for, if he does not have the professionalism and skills to talk to people than he should not be working with people, he needs to work on his customer service skills. He not helpful at all. It is sad that "Farmers Insurance" a very well known Insurance company has people like "John Rich" who lacks professionalism and customer service skills working for such a well known company.

Farmers Insurance Group farmers homeowners insurance is awful

Avoid getting insurance from Farmers Insurance! If you are trying to close on your home loan on time this company will ruin everything you are trying to do. A home purchase or refinance is one of the most important things you can do in your lifetime. However with Farmers Insurance their agents won't send a copy of your insurance policy to your lender, which is stupid because the lender pays Farmers Insurance and is listed as the mortgagee. But no, instead they ruined our closing by making it incredibly difficult for us to get a copy of our declarations page to our lender. I am fuming mad. Don't waste your time with Farmers Insurance. Switching insurance agents right now and that goes for my auto policy now too. Farmers is awful!

Farmers Insurance Group adjuster

I was involved in an accident (insured is FArmers) on Juy 16, 2018 case # [protected]-1-4. The adjuster in charge of the case is Gregory Jordan 818 874 1986.
My complaint is Mr. JOrdan is not returning phone calls. I have called approximately 23 times since Nov. 19, 2018 and several of those calls were to his supervisor, Scott Gilbert 818 874 2965.
Mr. Jordan gave me a low quote that I didn't agree to. I have not heard from him since. I want this resolved.

On May 11 I wrote to Maria Farmer Insurance Agent:

Despite our discussion and your promise in the above mail you have not stopped Auto-pay?That seems to be malafide behavior. As on May 11, 2019 I still see this as Auto-Pay on your website.

On June 8 after seeing the ACH Debit by Foremost Insurance Company / Bristol West $1313 I called Chase for the Fraudulent ACH Debit

Also, I wrote "Despite your confirmation stop payment you have still debited my account.Also, i send a confirmation in my email to stop auto payment.The fraudulent charges are disputed

Please refund the amount. Also, please take suitable action against Maria Victoria Portales acting as Farmer agent [protected]@farmersagent.com

Farmers Insurance Group insurance case

Refer : March 27, 2019. Case # 21st Century Claim Number : [protected]-1

I am insured under 21st Century for over 25 years. Farmer bought 21st century many years ago. I was told nothing changed, only the mother company now is Farmer.

Report this case on March 28 2019. It was the other driver's error, he also admitted it. I have sent the whole attachment with photos of the accidents spot, the other driver photo and copy of his insurance card to Ashley (my adjustor) and also cc to myclaim@21st.com.

This case was happened more than two month ago, but still receive no reponse from 21st. com. I had repaired my car out of my pocket, but since I have bought car insurance from your subsidiary branch, I think your reputable company would protect your client, and won't let the people who commited the crime get away, just because your rep. said the other Insurance- ( Alliance United Insusrance Company) didn't answer your call. The longer it was not settled, the easier will the other driver get away from the responsibily of it. And this is not fair to the law obeying citizen.
I would like to request the other driver insurance pay the repairing of my car, and rental payment .

I try to send the whole file with photo as attachment to you, but in vain, I appreciate if you can call myclaim@21st.com Or my adjuster ashley.wade@farmersinsurance.com to redirect my attachment to you.

Farmers Insurance Group auto insurance

Claim# 301-[protected]
Date of Accident: 11/07/2018

First issue:
Several attempts were made to proof to Farmers Insurance Co. that my Son was is enlisted in the ARMY and stationed in Alaska as a U.S. soldier. Farmers insurance made me jump through hoops and did not accept information provided by the US ARMY.

Second issue:

My daughter was stopped at a red light and rear ended from the back of the vehicle which caused the vehicle to be deemed salvageable. Farmer's insurance wanted me sign settlement documents which I was totally not agreeing to. The vehicle had a value of 8K at time of accident and Farmers was indicating that it was only a 5k. We were 3K apart, reason for me not to sign the settlement documents.

I was put in a situation where I had to seek sales from dealerships in the area to show proof of the 8k value. I called several dealerships and they stated they do not share sales with the public, therefore my hands were tied. I was not able to show any proof of the value of the vehicle, therefore Farmers had an upper `hand on this situation where they knowing knew I would not be able to get any sales information from any dealers anywhere.

The total amount that I received from the settlement was $99 plus $101. I was shorted 3K.

Farmers Insurance sells the salvage vehicle for a profit which none was provided to me.

I called to cancel the policy and was told I would get $325 back as a refund and then I got a letter in the mail that the refund check would only be $224 because I had previously received $101 from the accident settlement which has nothing to do with my policy cancelation notice.

It's no wonder that Farmers has a 1 star rating!

Which I had known this beforehand.
