I had recently purchased your brand ibuprofen for my sick child only to get home and open it and while pouring it into the medicine cup noticed it was chunky like as it poured. I didn't give it to my daughter. Although the expiration date was still good, I went today to exchange it for the same product and was refused by the customer service associate. She was very rude and I told her to just trash it and I'll take my business elsewhere. I work in customer service and know this isn't how it shouldn't have been handled. My husband and I are usually in the South Cobb location a few days a week because it's convenient but as of today, my family will no longer patronage family dollar stores.

    That ibuprofen was recalled a few weeks after this post too..

    I am a loyal customer, but if I am EVER treated badly over defective merchandise, I'll blast it all over the internet and the BBB.

    MOST family dollar brand items have a guarantee label on them, WITH a receipt you should be able to return or exchange the item with no fuss. It can be a little inconvenient for the associate but its our job to uphold company policies
