I joined Facebook many years ago, and had my first Page taken because they said I was a spy! I'm 85 now and never was a spy. I lost years of pictures and I loved my page. Facebook needs to be more careful who they hire. What they did to me, amounts to Elder Abuse!

My Facebook account was hacked on 1st September, name changed to Meta Copyright Bawhchhianta Meta, my email address and phone number were removed from the account so I could not access it. I have been email every Facebook email I can find since then and nobody replies to me. I have seen hundreds of similar posts online. I reported that my account was hacked and Facebook acknowledged that the Password had been changed. I was asked to upload ID which I did (Driving licence), received an email to say I needed to submit a different one, I have tried this multiple times and each time it says that there is a limit to how many times I can do this and to try later. My account is linked to a business page, which has credit card details linked to it, I have no access to that page. I am extremely concerned about the security and why nobody appears to be taking it seriously.

Wednesday 13 September 2023, my Facebook account was hacked by someone in Ireland. The hacker changed my password as well as my email address associated with my Facebook account to his email address. I have done everything I could to get my Facebook back, with NO luck at all. I have send a lot of emails to Facebook with the attachments with NO luck. I have saved photos of my children in my Facebook account. It now looks like my Facebook account is disabled. Please help me. I attach all the information that I have.

I am being harassed and defamed on Facebook these individuals are creating fake pages time and time again I block they get new ones. It’s gotten so bad I can’t even post a review on a company without them slandering me publicly. Facebook has purposefully made sure people like me who are harassed and defamed and whom reside in the United States of A. cannot report these situations?! I am being harassed and defamed on facebooks USELESS platform and they do NOTHING! I have reported all of the fake pages these individuals continue to keep those pages and comments stay up for everyone to view. I am looking into suing Mark and his little gang of trolls I lose my life over this my blood is on your hands !

On 8/1/23 received email stating that an email address was added to my account. Three minutes later received a second email stating my email address was removed. Immediately after that received email informing me my password was changed. This was done while I was sleeping between 5am and 7:30 am. At about 1:30 pm I went thru the account recovery process to regain access to my account. Uploaded my ID to prove who I was and got access to my account. I could not totally regain complete access to remove false information (email and name) and could not change my password. I attempted the account recovery process three times and only got temporary access to my account. I have sent emails to Facebook requesting help and have not received any response..

This has become a habit with your algorithms program. First it is 24 hrs, then it goes to 1 hr. for the past couple of days. I think you need to give me an explanation. It is getting ridiculous and when a person doesn't even know what they did wrong, how do you expect them to correct it. Face Book use to be fun to use and I have many of my High School Friends on here and even relatives I never knew I had. I am 78 years old and don't need this stress in my old age. I enjoy being in a Diabetic Group, but to ask a question, I usually can never see an answer, because Face Book doesn't even send any e-mails of who answered you. But my biggest thing now is this algorithms program and always coming up with these restrictions for what reason?

P.S. I've been a member since 2008 when I became a widow and at that time, I was certainly glad for the company.

I am not able to login to my Facebook account. Even when I try to login through forgot password system does not recognize my phone number and email address. Instead shows some other email address as shown in the attachment.

Or is it because Facebook has not made enough money from the scammers yet?

Is it because META is making money of people being scammed, so allows scammers to stay on the site.

Will META publish this complaint on Facebook as a public viewing, or hide it?

If META are not making money, they will publish, if they are making money, they will hide it.

two months ago I was not able to log in my facebook acount. i have tried everyday, getting codes reset options and nothing is working. I went on my husbands facebook and reported mine as fraud also and now it is blocked even further. Pleae help me. I have so may memories, photos, family and friends that I stay connected to on facebook. it is difficult to reach anyone in person for customer support. This is very frustrating.

I have tried to report a friend's hacked account - it was impossible. The people who took over his account are ruining his reputation with dirty pictures, etc. They are also posting stupid questions and then asking respondents to message them.

The friend is incapacitated, so I tried that route - using the "Special Request for Medically Incapacitated or Deceased Person's Account. His wife sent me a doctor's note, and I created a Word doc explaining the situation and that she does not have Power of Attorney yet. I was not able to attach both documents, and I could not submit the form with just one. I repeatedly got the error message: "missing required field".

I enter a file name and click "Choose File". File name disappears. See attachment.

There is no help desk. The situation is unacceptable.

Dear sir i have been with facebook for many years though i dont use it much. Last week my friends we on holiday to europe and i loaded messenger so we could talk from europe. I had to load facebook to download a working copy of messenger. The only other thing i used facebook for was to order to electric scooters. I also downloaded some chicken recipies, I dont no why my account has been suspended for 180 days. After 20 years or so i am not sure whats going on. I am 75 years old i am never rude or abusive to anyone. I do note that my account seems to be used and i wasnt even using my computer or phone. Please could you let me know whats going on.

My Facebook was hacked in February,2023 by Beneficiaries grant, these people scammed me and took 1,500 from me, right before our closing for the house. I now cannot get into my account at all my email was changed and password as well, and they have been using my old messenger account, to message people about this stupid grant, which is a scam, I need to recover my account had to make a new one, because of these people scamming, and I try to do the steps Facebook has but it's not working. You guys need to have a live person or live chats available for when we cannot access the steps ourselves. I just need my account recovered and hacker caught and stop using my old account.

I have been trying for 7 days as Hacker changed my mobile to his using WhatsApp Account and changed to his email and hacked new Profile setup until get account back. Just no Human at Facebook or WhatsApp just ignored.

It such disappointment the service is no response no concern person's data. No protection is the platform.

I think hacker blocked me.

Facebook is generating ad revenue from companies selling fake coins and bullion. Facebook is profiting from these crimes. Facebook is refusing to take down the ads. Facebook is therefor complicit in federal crimes. Facebook is facilitating the rip off of millions of people around the world by feeding these ads into peoples private stream. Facebook has not responded to hundreds of flags on ads that are obviously for fake products including those that claim to be from the US MINT.
