I've purchased many pairs of glasses from eyebuydirect.com. Customer service is beyond reproach. If dissatisfied with the glasses received, there's a refund or replacement, and if a replacement, credit is issued if replacement eyewear is priced lower, no return shipping charges or shipping charges for replacement. Incredibly, if dissatisfied with the replacement, there's another opportunity to replace or return. Prescriptions are filled impeccably. Customer supports reps are all knowledgeable and courteous and accommodating. Of course, one has to like the frames and the same selection is seen for long periods of time. I'd like to see more variation in style, but the style for a long time has been quite large, so this company tries to fulfill the current trends.

The competitors are not as generous in return/replacement policy. I've considered the other online eyewear businesses and keep going back to eyebuydirect. Lenses begin being made as soon as an order is placed and customer support is available by chat and phone 24/7. Eyebuydirect is peerless. Always some discount to be applied.

Please know when you order progressive lens from eyebuy direct they will etch a number into the actual lens. They put this number right where it is noticeable and you constantly think there is a smudge on your glasses.

This wasn't noted anywhere on their website when you purchase the progressive lens that they etch a number in them.

When we called about it the young lady Vanessa just gives you the "run around" and repeats the same thing at least 5 times. She constantly states "this is how we do it and the lens always has the number etched in it because it is a progressive lens"

Why in the world would you do this? You purchase glasses so you can see and now all you see through the lens is an etched number.

All you can do is return them. Do not purchase progressive lenses from eye buy direct. You will be disappointed.

The lenses did not perform very well so I initiated a return within the 14-day window provided under the company's terms of purchase. My HSA card expired during that 14-day window, so the refund could not be completed without updating the expiration date on the card. The company said there's nothing they could do to change this and recommended that I file a dispute with the card provider, which is not an option with an HSA card. They also refused to send a check for the refund.

Ordered two pairs of glasses and received July 2023. One pair is too tight on face and the lenses are too big (oversized). As per website you can request a replacement OR REFUND within 14 days.

Requested refund now three times and received email back pushing for replacement instead of honoring refund policy on website. BUYER BEWARE!

After threatening to report EyeBuyDirect to my credit card company for a fraudulent transaction, they finally provided the refund.

I ordered two pairs of prescription progressive lenses; one frameless and one semi-frameless. I upgraded the lenses on the frameless to make them thinner/lighter - they arrived to me without incident. It was the semi-frameless. I went with the "standard" lenses, and they arrived with prescription etchings visibly in the line of sight. It looked like a smear at first and then I saw it was definitely prescription etching numbers. When I asked them about it, they informed me that it's "NORMAL" to get lenses with the prescriptions etched on them, but that most aren't visible. Wait... "most aren't visible"? Then why were mine CLEAR - so clear that when I photographed them, it could easily be read? They told me that I'd have to pay for the more expensive lenses to get them without the etching. I've been round and round with them, and finally they agreed to upgrade the prescription lenses themselves, but then I got notice that my rx was on hold again, because I hadn't paid for the upgrade. They said they would cover it! I've been in conversations with them, both online and via phone, and NOTHING THEY SAY IS TRUE. Since when do you get glasses with the manufacturer's prescription etched in your line of sight? That's RIDICULOUS - especially when they tell you the only way to get them without those markings is to pay for the more expensive lenses! It's become a SCAM!

However, once my order was finally placed, I received my glasses within a week and they were exactly what I wanted. The quality of the lenses and frames were great and the price was unbeatable. I would definitely recommend EyeBuyDirect to anyone looking for affordable and stylish eyewear.

For the second time in less than a year my wife’s glasses coating is coming off and discoloring. Eye Buy Direct replaced them the first time but are refusing to replace a second time. There is obviously something wrong with their process and it’s defective. Your warranty says coatings are covered for 365 days. This is obviously a manufacturers defect. They should be replaced at no cost.

Their Warranty says:

We guarantee the quality of our frames, lenses, and coatings. If you experience a manufacturing defect within 365 days of delivery, simply contact our Vision Care Department for a free return label to facilitate a replacement or exchange. Our warranty does not cover the damage caused by the wear and tear of everyday use, or the damage caused by sudden force or impact.

Purchased this frame twice and both times they have spontaneously broke while just sitting on my face. The first pair broke so forcibly that the lens flew out. They only have a 14 day warranty. Because any time between 15 and 90 days those glasses will break for be defective.

The only solutions provided was to buy another pair to replace the 2 pairs that just broke for no reason. Or get titanium or metal frames which have the same amount of complaints and issues.

Final, was to give 30% off, however, I didn't need to contact customer service for that, the entire site has a code that gives anyone who buys a 30% off code. I have officially spent more money on this cheap crap than I spent at Lens Crafters which I have glasses that have lasted for 15 years still sitting in a drawer.

This is not a dress with bad material. This is people's vision.

Bought 2 pairs. both were terrible fit and uncomfortable. I bought Oakley and Armani purposely because they are definitely better quality at the other site I purchased from. Not so here. In order to get some of my money back from the second return, I had to buy something else. I purchased plain old reading glasses. They are worse than trying to see through a dollar store magnifying glass. So in the end they still got some money out of me for their junk. STAY AWAY don't waste your money like I did.

Junk. All junk, but when your insurance doesn't cover glasses this SEEMS LIKE an affordable option. It's not when you Condider the fact that you'll have to buy a new pair every couple months.

After 5 pairs of glasses, none lasting more than a year before literally falling apart with light, infrequent, non work usage,(I also wear contacts so most often my glasses just sit in hard shell cases) I'll NEVER try them again. Slow learner, right?

1 pair just disconnected at a weld on the bridge while wearing them and fell off. On 3 pairs the screw holding a lense tight into the frames somehow just stripped right out as I was wearing them and WILL NOT tighten back in. The fifth pair a lense popped right out while putting them on and after popping it back in, it just doesn't set right like the frame is warped or something and that lense just keeps randomly popping out.

Thankfully my new insurance plan DOES cover lenses so I can go somewhere more expensive and HOPEFULLY get some QUALITY frames and lenses, something that clearly does not exist at eyebuydirect.

1 crappy pair might be a fluke, but 5? Thats just poor quality AND shoddy workmanship. Avoid this company.

I ordered eye glasses, but eyebuy direct never completed order and they took my money. I contacted twice with my order number and the never returned my money. This was a simple order of prescription reading glasses. I tried to contact a company rep but they only use overseas call centers.

Bought eyeglasses from this company (order no. [protected]) and returned them within the 14 days window. The return package was delivered to their address on early December, but they never gave my money back. It's been 3 months! Their customer service team was good at using all kinds of words and excuses, trying to confuse you and let you forget about this whole thing. In one of the emails they even said "oh we have issued you a refund and you will receive it soon" but a week later there was still no refund, and when I asked again, they were like "oh It hasn't been issued cauz you need to provide us the usps tracking number", which I have sent them in 5 different times.

So, even if I followed the 14 days policy, sent the glasses back, but still could not get any of my money back.

I'm just trying to figure out why the eyebuydirect try-on feature that I use on my mom's computer won't work on my computer or on my phone. Can't find any troubleshooting suggestions anywhere. My saved picture comes up, and then the word "Loading" with the circle of death for hours. No links in the try-on, like to change to camera mode, to change the frame size, color, or lens tint, or to change the photo being used, nothing works or loads... For hours.

Beware, They Cheating customer with blue light blocking. They coated only color blue on glasses. Who order with blue light blocking I test by tester, its not block at all. Dont waste your money. Try to another company with real blue light blocking. I recommend buy from Payneglasses.com

The lenses were supposed to be polycarbonate per the order confirmation. Turns out they were not. I fell and one of the lenses shattered. Required major surgery to my face to remove the lodged pieces and repair the muscle and nerve damage below the eye. Over $25, 000 in medical bills. Expert examination of the lens showed that it was an acrylic and not polycarbonate. Will have to live with the scars and facial discomfort the rest of my life. If you purchased glasses with polycarbonate lenses from EyeBuyDirect I highly recommend that you have them verified by an optometrist.

Why are your employees who collect the orders are so inattentive?
Do you think we sent you our prescription for fun or what? It means (if you didn't know) we want o get the right lenses, and what I got yesterday was terrible. I can't see anything wearing these glasses. It's inappropriate. I sent you all of the information! And now you refused to refund? Are you kidding me? Bunch of [censored]s!

I got my glasses already broken. The delivery took a little more than a month. It turned out that I paid over 200 buсks for a crappy quality.
I immediately contacted them and asked for a refund and was ready to attach the pictures of the glasses if needed to prove they were really broken. They refused because their warranty works only 2 weeks since the moment of shipping. I am sorry, but it's not my fault you chose to work with the slowest delivery service in the world.
Obviously, they are aware of that, so that's why they picked this short-term warranty. Very convenient to save their money.
I have no alternatives, unfortunately.

I ordered a pair of glasses in November that were not what I expected so I tried to exchange then within the 14 day window that was given. They said that they were out of stock so I had to wait. I waited until JANUARY to send them back when I finally got an email saying they were back in stock. I sent them back immediately and it has now been over 1 month with no contact from the company and I never got the glasses. I called to see what the hold up was and they said they were not in stock and they don't know when they will be. I asked for a refund and instead, they tried to sell me on more glasses. Seriously? NO. I asked for the refund and they tried to give me HALF of what I paid saying because of the promotion they couldn't give me the full amount. ummmmm I paid for those glasses and I should get what I paid back. It has been almost half a year waiting. GIVE ME MY MONEY. WORST COMPANY. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I ordered a pair of sunglasses from this website and they said it'll take 14 business day to deliver, but after two weeks of waiting nothing arrived. Customer service representative said that sometimes delivery takes a bit longer and asked me to be more patient. When I asked them how long will it take they were not able to answer my question. They said they had no idea and tried to assure me that everything was fine.
After that I decided to make a research and found a lo of negative feedback about EyeBuyDirect. Many people said that on the estimated date order did not show up and that EyeBuyDirect lied that they need more time to deliver.
I think I'm in the same situation and I'm not happy. EyeBuyDirect is nothing but scam, please stay away from them!
