Etsy Suspended accounts without any explanation

Created an account 4 days ago, within 15 mins of my shop opening etsy suspended it without notice. Without email explaining why! In the policy's it said they would send an email stating why. There was nothing there and still isn't as of tonight 1/20/23.

The customer services cannot be reached making it almost impossible to recover an account. After I wrote them at [protected]@etsy.com I finally received a reply but it was more automated it said account was back up when it was not.

I emailed again then it was not suspended.

I went back into it tonight to start listing on my 3rd listing and now it's suspended again! I read etsy policy.i didn't break any rules! There is no reason for this to happen!

Etsy order #[protected]

Hi,

I placed an order back in December with Norbertas Kuftin at PuffDecorArt. The item was originally supposed to arrive before December 20.

Below are screenshots of my entire communication with the seller who is evasive and is delaying issuing a refund.

This person is either dishonest or plain stupid. Either way, their behaviour is disgraceful and their excuses unacceptable - I have never received what I paid for so I'm done here and I want my refund immediately.

Please make them refund what I paid, which was 293.35 USD! (transaction details attached)

I expect to hear from you regarding your action.

Etsy Account suspension

Etsy suspended my account without reasonable evidence. I did list my film camera for sale. Before I list it I saw many established sellers who has sold or currently selling the items I was intent to sell. After I list my camera ETSY decided to permanently close my account for below mentioned reasons.

1. Items listed for sale don’t meet our handmade, vintage, or craft supply policies

2. Items violate Etsy’s Prohibited Items Policy

3. Shop violates Etsy's Intellectual Property Policy

4. The account owner’s information is inconsistent, incorrect, or closely associated with an account previously removed from Etsy

I did appeal for my suspension and I also raised a questions such how come other sellers are allowed to sell these items but my item comes under above mentioned policy. I did even sent a link for an camera same as mine was sold by another seller but he was not flagged for above mentioned violation. I did send many item links to ETSY where other sellers are allowed to sell these items. If my account is suspended so does others well. Last one ETSY did accuse me my name is associated with another owners information closely which is banned by ETSY. I did raise a question for that ETSY did not obtain verification documents such passport, ID, driving license, etc from me. How can ETSY come for a conclusion that I am that person. Etsy never bothered or answer any of these questions til day. I am considering this as a discrimination towards to me. Every account specialist who works for ETSY just copy and paste their response. I want detail explanation on this.

Desired outcome: I want detail explanation on this and I want my account to be reinstated. If they accuse me again for above mentioned reasons they should suspended all other seller account who sells these items as mine.

Etsy Not accepting a payment for a VeggieTales Journal.

I logged into Etsy for the 1st time. 1st thing I wanted was a VeggieTales video journal for church and whatever ministry that is going on. Now I putted everything that said on my card and when I clicked accept, it didn't go through. It said ca4d error amd nothing was wrong. Now I've been frustrated with poor customer service time to time. If treating 1st time shoppers, always tewat them with respect and not get disrespectful with poor customer service. I'm gonna try again and get what I want. If not, I'll never come shop on Etsy again ever.

Etsy Payment not received

I have an etsy account under my name william chick it was suspended back in june 2022 and etsy have still not received my frozen funds of 162.25p to me as promised they are refusing amd ignoring to release my money to me which is rightfully mine and should now be released as in there house rules please can you help me with getting my money from them my shop name is ChicksChickens and my email address is [protected]@Gmx.Co.Uk

Purchased on 12/8/2022 and the account states it was delivered on 12/24/2022.

I never received any package.

Etsy Putin action figures

I have been a customer of Etsy's for a number of years, both shopping and sending gift certificates to friends and family. I have admired your business model and thought that many of your craft offerings were superb. However, recently, I was referred to a section on Etsy's website purporting to be "Putin Action Figures". I was stunned by what I saw there. All of the figures were unnecessarily derogatory and some were very obscene. I felt that none of therm should be offered by a company of your stature. Therefore, I have decided to close my account and to refrain from recommending your company to any of my friends and relations.

Etsy A bathroom wall mounted organizer with toothpaste dispenser

I ordered this item on December 9th from MyLazyNeeds. I have a confirmation email with a number [protected]. I never received a message that the order was shipped and have not received it. They do have my money. I ordered as a guest and paid with my credit card. I tried to cancel the order the same day because someone else bought my granddaughter the same item. I tried to contact them thru the confirmation email but they wouldn't respond. Please help! I am not happy.

Etsy Customer services in always out to lunch

I wanted to purchase a hiking Walking stick. I looked at a lot of vendors on the Esty site and finally picked out what I wanted. I communicated with the seller as to length and color. The seller responded nicely, and we had a dialogue about what I was looking for so I made the purchase, but Esty error message there was a "suspension on my account" and would not let the purchase go through. I tried communicating with them and it was a horrible event. I'm thinking they're like Twitter before Elon. They picked up paychecks and didn't show up for work. It was a big disappointment that I couldn't purchase for myself, and to help a vendor, I kept trying to work with customer service. Why was there the suspension? I sent them the error message and anything else they requested. I got nowhere then security came on the email and said they needed further information. I said no I am tired of this. I've sent everything, then security came back and said well it's probably my credit card first of all it isn't my credit card and secondly if it was, it wouldn't say my account is suspended. It would be a message that the card was declined. The idiot that I was communicating with was just not bright, I don't think he had any IT experience or security or anything else so I never went back. I will never purchase anything on that site and I think Pinterest is also part of Etsy so I don't do business with any of them and it's too bad because it's a great platform for artist and entrepreneurs that create really cool different and unique stuff. I emailed the vendor of the hiking sticks and told him what had happened but he did not respond to that and I'm sure I understand because he hast to try and make a living using Etsy and did not want to make comments. That was cool I just wanted him and her to know why I didn't make a purchase.I have never purchased anything on Etsy. I've never had any business with them so it's not like my account is suspended because I did something wrong. It's an error/mistake. I suggested my account is mixed with another. I've gotten their emails forever but didn't get on the site until recently. I needed a cane or stick.

Desired outcome: I'd like someone smart enough to tell me why my account is suspended. Fix it. I'd like to buy the hiking stick from Mike.

Etsy Vi peels and perfect derma peels prescription only being sold on etsy

We have repeatedly reported a seller on Etsy who is selling prescription chemical peels which require a medical license to purchase and administer. Etsy has not taken action and has not responded to repeated emails and reports on this serious violation.

Because of the lack of action, it is beginning to appear as though Etsy has nobody monitoring reports of violations or that the seller store and listings remain up because Etsy is profiting on the sellers' sales. While we hope neither is true, the lack of action is a poor reflection of Etsy policies and customer support. This is the seller's 5th store on Etsy and there appears to be something missing in regard to the same offending seller being able to continuously open stores on Etsy. Screening out violators would be of utmost importance but seems to be lacking.

Etsy Regalos UK

I ordered a mirror at the begginning of Nov.'22. Arrived damaged. Regalos agreed to replace. - no replacement arrived. Told me not to return damaged goods. Agreed to a refund. - none forthcoming. Today Jan 7th, they are asking for a photo of the damage. I have already disposed of the goods - what happens now. Extremely disappointed it was to be a gift at Christmas.

Etsy Website/company

ordered cd's from esty website, email said to be shipped by 12-19-22. they charged my Visa 85.39 and i never received product. i called [protected] machine said no longer a working number go to website esty.com/help/contact, i did & big warning came on screen this site contains virus. i also called their customer service # [protected] a man's voice mail answered and i left a message yet no return call. i do have confirmation and transaction ID. i don't know what else to do. but they have my money and i have no product or no way to get in touch with them. please help

Etsy Seller return policy not honored by etsy

I had an Etsy shop. I had a no return policy, but would consider a dialog if I had made a mistake, sent the wrong item in error, or if the customer had a similar issue. I sold vintage items. Each listing explained that old items are not new items. Certain wear and tear was pointed out in each listing as appropriate. I sold an antique Qing Dynasty robe that was over 100 years old. The buyer loved it as we communicated before the sale. I sold the garment, packed it, insured it and shipped it. It arrived right on time. I did not hear from the customer for three weeks. The buyer never contacted me, he went to Etsy and filed a "Customer Protection Program" complaint. His complaint was that it was not what he expected and the lining was a little faded. I told him I do not accept returns, and the garment had no issues other than what I explained in the listing as well as photos. He followed up with Etsy and said there was a tear in the back. An outright lie. After a few weeks since I had no further communication with the seller, Etsy said that I was required to send a refund and pay for return shipping. I refused. Etsy closed my shop. Etsy closed my shop while I was out of state due to a mandatory hurricane evacuation mandate. When I returned home, I had to liquidate my stock and send everything to auction. In the process I injured my leg and ended up in the hospital.

Desired outcome: I do not want to do business with Etsy. Etsy is still trying to charge my account over $1,000. I want them to leave me alone. Honor my no return policy and close my shop forever.

Etsy Etsy has no record of my purchase

I have tried to return a product purchased on DreamNile. They require proof of purchase. I have provided the email confirming purchase and photo of my credit card bill on transaction date Oct 23, 2022 posting date Oct 24, 2022 (Etsy.com. -DreamNileBrooklynNY). Etsy shows NO RECORD of my purchase and DreamNile will not accept the return. The extreme rudeness of DreamNile’s email correspondence and Etsy’s failure to document my purchase ( evidenced by my credit card transactions) has so frustrated and offended, that I will not purchase from Etsy again. It is my right to return and be refunded for the purchase. It is Etsy’s responsibility to have a record of my purchase.

Desired outcome: To be able to return and be refunded for the item. To receive an apology from the company. For Etsy to review DreamNile’s legitimacy. For Etsy to apologize.

Etsy Can not log in to my account

Can not log in to my etsy shop for 2 day now. Tried all I can and been told I need to log in before they will help, even though that is the problem. It appears there no phone contact until you sign in. A friend email Etsy on her account and they sent a link for me, to use the link they told me log in before they could help. Again problem is can not log in. They have also been asked to phone me on my number held on my details. Still nothing. Tried to change password just in case but could not as it appears my email address is not valid. This has been ongoing 19/12/22 and it seems I can not get help on this

Will not allow me to log in or do anything with them. |Every time I try to make contact they say I must log in first, which I can not do as it is the problem I need to solve.

Etsy That etsy be shut down

i opened etsy shop months ago they state that they hold a reserve on a portion of the sale i have been out alot of money on material supplies and shipping etsy has never gave me a penny of my money that i have in my account and it has been months countless emails they are doing this to alot of people people are making things useing there time and hard and cost of shipping and they are not giving no one any money they need stopped etsy needs shut down

Same problem. Every sale i have made on Etsy is from my existing customer base. My customers have received their items and each and every one has left a 5 star review. Their claimed policy makes no sense and reflects unfair business practices.

Etsy TingliLife Supplies Separated Toe Socks

I purchased on 12/10/22 6 pairs of TingiLife Supplies Separated Toe Socks. ([protected]) Transaction #[protected] Color A, Quantity 4 @ $7.71, also Transaction # [protected] Color H quantity 2 @ $7.71 Total $39.60 using my Discover Card.

I see they shipped it on 12/16/22, however will not received my product until !/20/23. If I knew it would take almost a month & half to get my purchase, I would not have purchased them. You got your money immediately, but I have to wait through this long, if I do not get faster service I will contact my Discover to file a dispute.

Are they coming by boat, then railway? This is ridiculous time-frame. Etsy, if this the way you do business, I will never make another purchase. Never have I had to wait a month & a half for a purchase even coming from China!

Desired outcome: Want my purchase a lot sooner than 1/20/23, if you can't do that I want a refund!

Etsy Charged 3 Times, no refund yet!

Für eine Bestellung wurde mir ingst 3 mal der Betrag vom Konto abgezogen (immerhin 3x370€!). Kontakt zu eBay rein über Chat möglich. Beim ersten Kontakt gleich am nächsten Tag wurde mir rückgeneldet es handelt sich um einen Systemfehler und ich kriege 2 Zahlungen retour. Bis dato nichts bei neuerlichen Chat wurde mein Anliegen nun gar nicht mehr bearbeitet und es heißt plötzlich, dass es keine Abbuchungen gegeben hätte (obwohl klar ersichtlich ich von meiner Bank die Überweisungsbestätigungen habe). Mein Anliegen wird nicht weiterbehandelt und an ein anderes Team weitergeleitet, welches sich bei mir irgendwann per Mail melden wird. Wann das sein wird kann mir nicht gesagt werden. Unglaublich ich warte immer noch auf über 700euro, die mir falsch in Rechnung gestellt wurden und bekomme keinen Kontakt zu jemanden, der sich mit der Sache auskennt! Zu allem Überfluss ist meine Bestellung jetzt auch zwar laut easy zugestellt aber nicht an mich und niemand weiß wo sie ist!

Etsy After all, who is more thief? Who steals or who helps to steal??

I tried to contact etsy support but without any result!

As popular wisdom says thief helps thief.

The etsy platform is full of dishonest people who take advantage of those who with their work are selling and paying unclear etsy commissions, and then these dishonest people have full protection and help from etsy.

Sellers are rated for each transaction but customers are not and in this way buyers can continue to steal sellers' work and money with the help of etsy.

To do so, the customer only needs to place an order with a supplier and as soon as the order leaves and without having yet arrived at the destination, the customer just has to make any complaint and ask for the total reimbursement and etsy without consulting the seller makes the full refund to the customer and this way the customer is the one and when he receives the goods he also has the goods completely free, the seller is the one who is left without goods and without his money.

That's what happened to me with the order [protected] to beatriz asencio marchante from spain ([protected]@hotmail.com)
