We are writing to submit a formal complaint regarding the cancellation of our Etihad Airways flight scheduled on March 6, 2026, on the route Phuket – Abu Dhabi – Paris.
Following this cancellation, no suitable alternative solution was offered to allow us to return to France within a reasonable timeframe. As a result, we were forced to urgently organize our own travel arrangements, which generated significant additional expenses.
The total financial loss suffered amounts to €15,33577, corresponding to:
the purchase of new airline tickets,
as well as additional accommodation expenses,
for the 4 passengers concerned.
We believe that this situation falls under the responsibility of your airline due to the lack of assistance and the absence of an alternative transport solution after the flight cancellation.
Therefore, we hereby request full reimbursement of the expenses incurred, amounting to €15,335.77 upon presentation of the supporting documents attached to this letter.
Should we not receive a satisfactory response from your company within a reasonable period of time, we reserve the right to refer the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities and air transport mediation services.
