Dueck On Marine

I went to Dueck On Marine for some car service, but when I asked to talk to a real person instead of a voicemail, the service department got all mad and said I was being rude. I don't think that's fair, I just wanted to talk to someone who could help me out. Other than that, the service was okay.

I had a bad experience with the service rep at Dueck On Marine. They seemed to be dishonest over the phone, but not in email. I recommend recording all phone calls with them. The cashiers were not very friendly and sometimes made me do their job for them. I found it strange that the "certified" mechanics couldn't figure out my warranty issue, but when the manager got involved, they suddenly had an answer. Overall, my experience was not great.

I bought a car from Dueck On Marine in 2017 and finished paying for it. But when Covid hit, they kept taking payments for another year even though the lease was over. I contacted them and they said they would send new paperwork, but I still haven't received anything. I've been trying to reach the manager for two years, but he's always out of town or not working there anymore. He contacted me in December 2022 and did a credit check, but I still haven't received anything. Then he sent a bailiff to my house to collect the car. I've been trying to contact *** and *** for two years, but they denied receiving any payments for the extra year. They said the $755.33 was pure interest, but I paid more than the car was worth. They won't give me paperwork, but they want my banking information for new payments. I can't afford the buyout and they won't let me refinance. They charged me for service when it was under warranty, and the car was dirty with the old owner's belongings still in it. They promised two keys but only gave me one.

I gotta say, my experience with Dueck On Marine was a total disaster. I bought a 2023 *** from them and it took over 2 years to get my car. During that time, my sales guy never bothered to keep me in the loop and I had to harass him constantly just to get any info. When my car finally arrived, it was a mess. The lift service failed after only 180KM, there was a door chip and paint damage, and the paint job was terrible. It looked like a used car! To top it off, when I tried to trade in my old car, they wouldn't give me a fair price and instead charged my buyer a $5K fee. And don't even get me started on the spoiler - there's no ETA for it and they won't even reimburse me for it. Plus, there's a rubber trim moulding that's just flapping around because it wasn't installed properly. Overall, I'm beyond frustrated with Dueck On Marine and would never recommend them to anyone.
