I have been a Dubai First customer of your credit card for a while however a few months back I wished to close the credit card. I made the call to Dubai first and requested them to close the card, they informed me that someone would surely get in touch with me to close the card. No one got back to me. I called back a while later requesting to close the card however I was informed that I had decided to keep the card active which is not true and requested them again to please close the card. Once again, I got no call from anyone. I called once again requesting to close and was informed that someone tried to call me but I know for a fact no one had attempted to call me, anyhow I made the request again to close the card. Until now, no one has called me. I am honestly sick and tired of this and in between all of this, I got charged for the card plus 2 non payment fees. I will not pay this amount as I have requested time and time again even before I was charged to please close this card but no one would close this card for me. Instead I got charged close to AED 1000 for the lack of service from Dubai First. I request to please waive this amount and beg you to please close this card at the earliest possible. I used to enjoy using the card but would surely not recommend this to anyone anymore. Once you get in, you dont let the person get out without charging them all sorts of fees. Would appreciate some assistance on this at the earliest possible.
I have an issue with closing my credit card, tried to send a complaint from your website Contact Us page, it does not work. I get a support number and asks me to call. Is this your way of keeping people at bay from submitting complaints? Atleast maintain your website, make sure no links are broken.
