DU wrong billing (without 10% discount)

I sing up fr Du home packager internet, tv and line with 10 % discount, I have notice on my 1st bil there is no any discount, I did so many complain and emails

I told them the agent who came to install and did the application promise with 10 % discount.

Now they saying the agent havent apply the discut, and the agent saying its some technical issue with there sistem so the discunt havent apply.

4 to 5 months going on, and DU dont care, How come to not accept the 10 % discunt when that is the pacage that u offering to whole UAE why you charging me extra.

Im planing to make complain in newspaper abut this issue which is total unfair.

DU home internet not working/du worst services

i have been trying Du customer care since last two days since my internet is not working but Du has worst services ever! in last 5 months this is the 3rd time this is happening. I donot want to continue with these horrible services.
I have my exams and cannot access Internet!
i have been calling [protected] for almost 2 hours with noone answering and the cassette just keeps apologizing! WORST SERVICES EVER!

i would want someone to call me ASAP otherwise i just donot wish to continue with Du.
i would also cancel my and my husbands mobile plan!

DU internet connection service

It is severely affecting our clients who are working everyday and it distracts everyone in our business center whenever the connection of the internet will stop random times.

Your landline/customer service number always says that you have technical problems that's why you cannot answer our call.

What kind of professional service is this?

We need your best assistance always!

DU fraud identity, bad customer service and care

On 18th of September 2018, I applied for 150 postpaid plan with 6GB and 300flexi min calls using my Etisalat number (9715057*****) and ported it to Du. In order to monitor my data and call usage, I opened an account via mobile application. Unfortunately, I figured out that there is another postpaid plan registered (971523*****) under my name.

On 20th September 218, I visited DU center in Deira City Centre to clarify my concern. After checking my personal data and an ample discussion, the agent gave me reference number which was ref:
1-[protected] and advised to wait for a call within 48hrs.

On 02nd October 2018, I also sent email to customer.[protected]@du.ae to void that fraud account since I am bothered about the unsettled bill. In spite of this request, every three days, consequently I am calling your customer service to get an update. I don't have any idea and I have never used this MSISDN (971523*****). I didn't even have a sim card of the mentioned MSISDN. Weeks passed and I still haven't received any feedback from your customer service or anyone from DU, which is really not a good customer service if you really have one. To make it worst, I am receiving calls from your collection team to settle the outstanding balance, which is not acceptable from my side to pay something that I have not utilized.

As days, weeks passes by, this issue become worst as I imagined. Firstly, I cannot use my number anymore to make and receive call. I've found out that on 19th October 2018 evening, DU has disconnected my number and I am unable to reach and be reached. Secondly, have you consider fixing the issue first before disconnecting my only number (9715057*****) instead of asking payment 6 times a day. Lastly, it's affecting my whole life because of your inadequate customer service and support. FYI, (9715057*****) this number is the only number I'm using for personal and work related communication.

Again, I am asking to effectuate to cancel and void this MSISDN (971523*****) as soon as possible under my name so I can continue my contract on my official number).

DU customer care

Abu Dhabi Hamdan Street customer service manager Mr. Bakid. he do not respect the customer. Miss Behave with customer. If customer shouting for same reason. He can shouting with customer without listen the Problems. He can tell to customer go out from branch. we do not help you. also Tell to counter Do not give him token. I will Forwarding this to TRA and Abu Dhabi municipality. by writing application or and mail. I am going to change my operator from du to Etisalat.

DU I am complaint against free device hp colour printer

we are informed that your channel partner name is Skylog Int'l Comm. Network. LLC misguided last around 60 day's for DU free device HP Color LaserJet Pro MFM181fw.
1st intimation sent through email dated on August 2018.
2nd intimation sent through email dated on 06th September 2018, we are confirming device model HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M181fw with company authorization signature with stamp, those email replay on 09th September 2018 they are required valid Trade License and establishment card to be able to proceed, we are sent email with attaching updated all document on same day, Samee day Skylog Int'l Comm. Network. LLC conform that those all documents are received and We will now process the order. It will take a minimum of 3 working days and will try our very best to deliver the printer within this week, that means our free device received on 13th September 2018.
3rd intimation HP printer comes to your office on 19th September 2018 around 15:00 hrs. but unfortunately our MD and Manager haven't presented office because they are visiting another manufacturing unit for a week, that unit out of UAE, but they are still waiting on 16th, 17th and 18th September 2018 at 19:00 hrs. as per SAMI FARROQ & RHEA SARINAS is confirm that HP printer is on the way, we are received HP printer device delivered end date & time is 15th September 2018 but SAMI FAROOQ and RHEA SARINAS is always pass the miss- commitment.
Last week of September 2018 again follow up our HP printer to SAMI FARROQ & RHEA SARINAS they are told the first week of October 2018 final received HP printer but can't receive so that our MD sent the email to Skylog Int'l Comm. Network. LLC on 08th October 2018, but still, we are waiting for a reply for the last email.
4th intimation on 15th October 2018 I called to SAMI FAROOQ for the follow up our HP device because in-trouble office atmosphere but they told make DU payment, after that they are delivered our HP device, so that on the same day I make payment against my DU account no is 6.168156 of AED 2803 and on same day I register my complained of DU helpline that no is 1-[protected].

DU overcharging and hidden charges!!!

Overcharging and hidden charges from DU is actually really not acceptable! I am a DU customer for more than 7 years now and since I applied for a postpaid I always get an overcharged! At first I wasn't paying attention to that and blindly paying my monthly bill but then I realised its not normal paying more than I supposed to pay! my number is [protected] and there was a time that DU refunding the overcharge amount but this shouldn't happen everytime! 12 dirhams, 8 dirhams, 5 dorhams or even 1 dirham overcharge is not acceptable at all! The recent incident I had was my last September bill! I was on holiday in the Philippines from 14th to 27th September but I got an overcharged again! for what? well the DU agent said that I used my roaming data in the Philippines! seriously! I know that it will not work in the Philippines for my more than 7 years using DU! and somebody from DU promotion automatic call like caller ringtunes called me (which I blocked on my phone as it so annoying) apparently I answered it for more than 3 minutes! again seriously? how I can answer a call which is blocked from my mobile! this is really not acceptable so please have a look into!

DU mobile lines

My friend and I were having lunch at Golden Mile Galleria and there were some Du agents who were roaming around offering sim cards with the bait of "not having a contract" and "not having to pay for the activation fee of 150dhs".

I initially didn't want to get the promotion cause it sounded fishy, but my friend convinced me to take the promotion since she also wants to get it. I considered cause it included 200mins for international calling.

Eventually I found out when I was paying my first bill that "it is on a 6 month contract" and even after asking him gazillion of times if it has a contract, he kept saying "THERE IS NO CONTRACT".. HE LIED..

I was already very disappointed that I have decided to cancel the lines, to my surprise, since it is now "LOCKED" in a contract, if I terminate the lines, I have to pay 300 each to cancel it.

VERY FRUSTRATING.. VERY DISAPPOINTING..

DU over charging and information problem

Hi,

Myself Mariam and my number is [protected], 2 years before I one person approached our office saying that there is an offer for pre-paid connection just need to recharge with 150 AED, we asked again and again is it pre-paid and he said yes, after one month we got to know it is post paid and it have 2 years contract. So I called customer service and complained they said they can't do anything and I have to wait till the contract end and I can just cancel the post paid and switch to prepaid.
A month before I checked with a customer service in Umm al Quwain and they said I can shift to prepaid with charge of 50 AED. Yesterday I was in Al Hamra and went to cancel the postpaid she said that 100 AED is the shifting charge.

In between when I was using this service I was getting over charged many times. Many times I have noticed that Even if I stop calling by 300 minutes you guys are charging me extra and once I was using calling card that month also I received extra bill and when I enquired about it, they said that I didn't use any calling card, it's not registered in the system and all.

I am not getting any proper instruction and the service is pathetic. I need a solution ASAP. Am I supposed to spend my whole salary on the mobile payment?

DU my du smartplan 150 bill

Dear Du,
I have a smart plan 150 per month at du and I've got shocked on my bill last September 2018, my bill raised into 299dhs and when I check my bill summary I have seen that there is an international call to nauru which charges me 135 dhs exceed, this is to inform you that I did not make that call, I dont even know where the nauru country was located.

DU the quality of du products & services | lies by du sales agents

I have been using DU personal mobile simcard for almost 2 years and really regret for choosing this provider. The network coverage is very bad and they have worst speed of the internet. I was planning to finish my contract with them and move to better network provider once my contract finishes. Just one month before the end of the contract, the DU sales agent called me and offered his services again which I did not agree and told him that I want to finish with their services. After a month once the 2 year contract is already finished I wanted to cancel my number at one of DU offices, I was informed that the contract has been renewed recently for another 24 month and if I want to cancel it I need to pay approximately AED 1, 800. I raised a complaint for this issue for DU, they called me after a week time and told that I cannot cancel the contract with them because they renewed it themselves and informed me about it by phone call (which is not true) and in order to cancel the service I need to pay the cancellation amount (AED 1, 800). I asked them about the recording of that phone call if I approved them to do so, which they refused to prove and said "the DU agent cannot be mistaken".
In addition:
*the billing system is very bad, I registered for AED 150 per month plan but get overbills every month and pay approximately AED 350.
*spam sms messages everyday
*sales agents cannot speak proper language

Please refer attached email proof stating due amount is aed 80 only .

As per DU TEAMS emails confirmations & Phone when i spoke with Mr Apoorva when i rang 155 and confirmed on 11th April total due was Aed 145 and against i have paid aed 70 so remaining is aed 80 only accordingly same amount billed on 17th April bill and more importantly i paid 80 aed on yesterday and later saying aed 145 more to pay to get new device ... I CANNOT PAY AND I WILL NOT as per below email stated i have cleared dues . .

Kindly involve and clear .. if not i have to lodge complaint to your higher authorities .

It happened the same to me. From this Asian Tips. I got deducted fro days. I just managed to canceled it thru a post on internet with a code. But we need to complaint about it. It is unacceptable. Can we complain thru TRA? Someone here did it?

I too have now received successfully subscribed to Asian tips for Healthy Life style at AED. 1.05 for a day. Why should I unsubscribe to something which I have not subscribed to in the first place. This is day light robbing.

THe Same thing as what happened to me I have 2 du no. 1st no.(postpaid) I received health tip subscription at the same time I UNSUBSCRIBED it that was August, then they stop sending daily msgs from this healthtip.. I wondered why my bill reaches more than I expected for 2 months upon checking my bill.. they billed me this subscription, , so I called du customer services, they said they can't refund it since it is 3rd party subscriptions.. I told them I didn't ask for it nor accepted it. So they said they will do refund 20 aed and cancel it.. but now it's still included in my bill. DU CHEATER

Now in my 2nd no. (prepaid no.) I'm wondering why my account is always negative in credit.. so what I did I reloaded it. upon reloading they deduct my credit mobile, they said i borrowed from du(which I never did since i have my post paid when icheck they are deducting my account without any information fromt his "newsubscription"(whihc i did not subscribe) then borrow from du without my prmission.

Same thing happened with me.I got subscribed to asian tips without my permission. Itried to unsubscribe but it subscribed me to Gamehut and then I unsubscribe and the asian tips is sending me again. The number is 1547. I reported to du and they said they cannot block from their end so they just gave me a refund of AED40 that was in August. And until now same thing every month, I am charged AED 40 EXTRA!

same thing with me this Tips for Happy Life pack..i am not aware there is a AED 10/- monthly charge i don't remember subscribing to it. And customer service cannot help with the refund..he advise to contact the support for that Tips for happy life pack but unfortunately i cannot find any.

DU phone suspension

I have the number +[protected], im now residing in Kuwait for a job, after being in Dubai for 6 years, I still use my UAE credit cart

as a resident of Kuwait (temporary) I cannot be having a Emirates ID, but I have a valid passport, I was surprised that DU, just suspended my phone, and cashed my prepaid money

I have send 7 message and received same answer (copy paste) telling me to visit their store, while I write 10 times that im in Kuwait and cant access my bank account because its linked to the sms via phone
the tactic is to suspend the phone, cash your prepaid money, and ask for new money to reopen it...this shall be report to the authorities

DU billing issue while cancellation

Dear,
I had mailed about the issue of cancellation fee of account number 1.[protected], from your side i got reply that the contract which was 12 month at the time of taking connection which is on 19/02/2017. Now you are saying that its been renewed on 14/06/2017 and it has not been informed to me. You can check records for that and i was not informed and had not agreed for the renewal also.After 15 months i had disconnected the connection thinking there is no cancellation charge as my connection was 12 months contract. Its so sad to have an experience like this from your side, as I am regular user of Du Please take necessary action to sort this issue at earliest.

I have a serious issue with DU as I strongly dispute the legality and the fairness of paying the « disconnection fees » which amounts to 2, 802.03 AED. I don’t see why DU wants me to pay those unfair charges?
My contract with DU was for one year. It started on May 2017 and expired on 2018. However, I kept it running for an extra two months, (until July 2018). This clearly meant that the termination occurred two months after the « Minimum Term of one year ». Besides, contrary to what DU wrongly claims, there was no « auto-renewal » involved.
The terms and conditions of the « standard agreement for DU entreprise customers » stipulates:
« Article : 17.3. Early Termination Charges if :
* 17.3.1. The Customer requests the ending of any Service which has not fulfilled a Minimum Terms; or
* 17.3.2. ending of the Agreement as set out above, results in the ending of any Service which has not fulfilled a Minimum Term,
The Customer shall pay applicable Early Termination Charge. »
In my case, the « Minimum Term » was one year (May 2017-May 2018).
Therefore, it is crystal clear that no early termination charges are applicable to my case.
I complained to TRA, the regulatory authority, and while the case is still pending, I received a couple of calls from DU customer service. They sounded reconciliatory and pretended to investigate the case. But I have not heard from them again.
That said, what annoyed me most is the fact that I kept on receiving unwelcome calls and messages from a debt collector company called « Debtplus ». I’m really confused and disappointed with DU and the way they treat their customers, as I’m not prepared to pay those unfair disconnection charges. Please advise. Regards, N. Bencherif

DU technician not capable to do a relocation and blocked the mob number of the customer after visiting the apartment.

Mr: Umer the technician of DU, pakistani national/picture attached Employee ID: 119041, who works in discovery gardens Mediterranean cluster was not capable to do a relocation and activation service of my DU home wifi package, despite of consuming my time and coming to the apartment he did nothing in the place to do the relocation, all 15 mins he spent on phone getting some instructions from his colleague. At the end he was not capable to perform the task and leaving the apartment he told me the connection will be activated in 5 mins, after one hr when I tried to call him I realised that he block my number, when I tried to reach him from other mobile he answered the call and block that number too, such illiterate and negligent person who don't care of customer shouldn't be working with DU, he is a disgrace to the company and a bad image to all DU technicians.
I am giving you the details of this technician please kindly take a discliminary action ASAP.

DU lies and wrong information on services by sales agent

DU Telecom has touts on the streets selling their products and giving false information about the services they offer. sadly DU Telecom knows about this and they are not doing anything about it. when i informed them of what was happening i was told such people do not work for DU but they have ID cards from DU and wear Du uniform with DU products and stands. i logged in a complaint and was informed by their agent that this has been going on and they know about it. two weeks later i called to them to follow up on the resolution only to be told case is solved and closed! this is unacceptable. i requested to cancel the service only to be informed i have to pay for cancellation and transfer charges. all this information was not passed on when i took the service and that is not my problem as a customer. your agents should offer all relevant information so the customer can make an informed decision. i would advise anyone planning to use DU to be cautious as they have hidden fees and their agents give false information in order to sell.

DU du post paid issue

Hai sir,

Good afternoon!

Please help me to deactivate the du sim card on my account. I did not buy this sim card, one of your agent saw me on my way nearby to Al Khail Mall and he just offer the sim card for free. Even I'm not interested he insisted that this sim will be free, then I ask him it will be in my name then what if i dont use it even though he give it for free then he said it will be deactivated automatically. After that he gave me the sim card and put it on my name using my Emirates ID last January 2018, then I went for vacation and never use the sim, I am on vacation time when I received the bill in my email add so am shocked, then I called the agent who gave the sim card and tell them to cancel it. He said yes it will automatically cancel. I keep calling him until March 6 there was an email coming from du that I have a bill worth AED193.06 for (JAN & FEB). That time the bill comes even I didn't use it or open the sim card then I contact the customer care and they told me that I have to pay the bill and the AED1, 500 for cancellation charges . That agent didn't informed anything about cancellation charges. The Agent also lying to people they didn't explain clearly .they told me you don't have to pay if you are not using this sim after. I have only 2500 salary but your salesman force me to tell 3500 to the customer service. They didn't fill the form too.Now I am so worry about how to pay even I'm not using it. It's been 6 months already that I paid the bill as I'm afraid even I have very less salary only. I've been calling the customer service and even went to Dubai Mall Du Center to tell them but they didn't do any action. Somebody will just call me and tell me to pay AED1, 500 for cancellation. Please help me to cancel this as I have too much financial problem right now in this very low salary. The sim card is given to me with my full innocence about the charges as agent didn't tell me anything.. DU du aed 150 emirati plan.

My name is Vinod Kumar Konattuparambil Bhaskaran. and my Emirates ID number is [protected] and my passport number is S0886630.In MAY 31st I took emirati plan AED 150 from DU local agent.He told me that I have to pay only AED 75 for First 4 months and I have to send BD 01 to BD 04 for each month for availing this promotion.I aviled 3 month promotion of AED 75 but during 4Th month when I sent BD 04 it get rejected from du.Later I contacted the agent he is telling that it will be OK after tomarrow night.But after this period I tried again BD 04 but its get rejected.Then I called this fraud fellow many times and he was not picking up the phone.Today evening accidently he took the phone and I asked about the cheating he was telling that you just leave AED 75 and balance to pay and this 75 will pay by his company.His name is Hasin malik and His number is [protected].Kindly anybody help me .

DU home internet connection

I have been trying to get connection into my new apartment since Thursday 30.818. They said I will get connection by Saturday but Saturday after trying to call several times the staff responded and connected me to Lady named Farah who was very rude and of no help. I had requested my connection on urgent basis but it's not treated at all as urgent request. If du cannot manage customer requests and provide services why on the earth would you make a contract with building and leave the residents with no choice but forcing them to accept you worst customer services.
I still do not have connection and haven't received any update from Du for my connection. Kindly look into this matter on urgent basis and improve your customer services.

DU disconnection of bein sports channels

I went into 3 months contract with DU for bein Sports channels ( 7th Apr - 6th Jul 18), i was told to call at the end of contract period to cancel the contract which was was 5th Jul 18 which i did . Since then i gave at least 20 calls and 10 e-mails to DU customer service to disconnect by bein Sports and stop billing but of no help except a response stating "our apologies, your matter has been escalated to respective team"
