DPD UK review: What has happened to DPD?!

I used to have faith in DPD always delivering things on time but for the past at least six months they have been nothing but a nightmare to deal with (talking as a small business)
Every time I have a delivery on the way I am almost guaranteed to receive a text or email to tell me that "Sorry, your parcel is delayed in transit", usually when they have had the parcels for no more than a few hours.

I'm paying for a next day service and then not receiving my parcels for 3 to four days. Just recently they took 7 days to delivery a "next day" parcel. No apologies, no reason as to why.

The reason I'm complaining today is partly due to this but also because my parcels have been sitting at the local depot since yesterday with no sign of them being delivered today, even though that's what they're telling me on their useless tracking page.

I would honestly recommend everyone to avoid and go somewhere else.
