Flowers ordered from M&S as birthday gift for delivery Monday 1December. To Upper Poppleton. Advised as dispatched at 16:52 on Sunday 30 November. In transit at 03:20am 1 December. Out for delivery at 08:20 am. Action required 16:24. In transit waiting 18:26 pm. No idea what this means!
Message from M&S at 20:25 parcel may arrive later than expected.
These are perishable items and should have been delivered today.

Desired outcome: Replace flowers which will be degraded if delivered late. I would like an apology.

The flowers were delivered the next morning and were in good condition. It appears that the address was not entirely correct and the driver was unsure about leaving the flowers when the recipient was not there.
