DPD UK review: Failure on all accounts and most unhelpful customer service

If you are a shipper, please do not use DPD; as it is an incompetent ; useless and most unhelpful Company.
Three times DPD mis - delivered parcels to me and lost parcels sent to me despite my property being well signposted and me leaving a picture of it on their App.
I also having a parcel delivery box by my front door if I am out.
When you ring DPD to find out what has gone wrong (If you are prepared to wait hours on the phone) they make absolutely no effort to find out from the driver where he left the parcel ; hence three lost deliveries one after another and one of them being a replacement from the shipper. That one was eventually found by me after walking our street talking to numerous people.
It was found on top of waste bins in the rain at the back of an unoccupied property in our street ; despite DPD claiming it had been left safely in an outbuilding?
On hearing I was due another delivery yesterday from DPD; I panicked and worked in my open garage near my front door; where I could also keep an eye on the street.
I received a Royal Mail delivery and also one from Evri ; but absolutely no sign of a DPD courier delivering anywhere in my street. I was astounded to check the DPD site later to see it marked as “Am attempted Delivery” and that another attempt would be made tomorrow.
I did the same thing today to find that yet again they claimed to have attempted delivery. A picture of the building bore no resemblance to my building a photo of which was on their app to assist the driver.

As I was constantly monitoring their app, I was able with great difficulty to contact the driver’s depot at Clyst Honiton shortly after the so-called attempted delivery ; they asked me to stay at home that afternoon so the driver could come back and get a signature. I stayed in all afternoon but NO DRIVER when checking the app, it indicated that no attempt had been made and my parcel had been returned to their depot at 1725 Hours.

Please do not use DPD; as when they have not delivered or lost an item it is left for the shipper and consignee to resolve THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL!
They also lie on their delivery status and if you try to ring them direct they keep forcing you into the delivery status WHICH IS THE VEREY THINK YOU ARE TRYING TO QUERY.
